Strongest Superhuman System - Chapter 840
Chapter 840: Control
Mark felt a small laugh escaping from his lips just a moment after Sozin left. Mark knew that what Sozin just said was important and that he would need to investigate it more, but Mark had just finished one of the largest fights of his life. He really didn’t think anything could make him too angry right now.
[The user has received a [Gift] from Sozin. Would the user like to open the [Gift]? Yes/No]
Mark blinked as another notification opened up on his screen, and Kar hummed as he knew that this must be the one Sozin spoke about. Mark opened the gift and felt a small box fall into his hand. The box looked like a treasure chest with silver edges and a latch holding it shut, and when Mark opened it, he saw that it was filled with silver coins. Was this the reward?
‘System. What are these?’
[The [Gift] from Sozin is an Astral Box that contains one hundred cubic meters of space within and holds 3.5 million Divine Gem Coins.]
Mark realized that the box was a lot larger on the inside than he was holding. So that could only mean that Astral Boxes were like inventories. Mark was tempted to pour out some of the coins and see if what the system said was correct, but Mark trusted the system enough that he didn’t bother, and just told the system to take the box away. Mark would figure out what he could do with the money the next time he meets up with Sozin.
‘Or maybe I should ask Thor instead. He gave me the gauntlets, so at least he likes me. I think he’ll be more willing to give good advice. Hopefully, he’s not a dick like Sozin.’
The box vanished from Mark’s hand, and Mark sighed as he looked around the Dimensional Space once more.
Mark was still going to add a lot more to the space, but for now, Mark felt like he had spent enough time recuperating. Mark remembered when he went to Sozin’s dimensional space that the time in the dimensional space moved far faster than the time outside. So even if Mark spent all this time in here, it wouldn’t be that long on the outside. Mark spoke to the system.
“How do I get out of here?”
[The user controls this space, so a mere thought and sufficient Divine Energy is all the user needs in order to leave the Dimensional Space. The system suggests that the user finds a more appropriate state of dress before leaving.]
Mark blinked before looking down at himself and seeing that he was practically naked.
‘I’m surprised Sozin didn’t say anything about it. Maybe he just doesn’t care about anyone being naked if it isn’t a milf.’
Sozin had an undeniable attraction towards the more endowed goddesses that had given birth to more than one child in their time. All the goddesses that Sozin took nude pictures of to show Mark had all been well-endowed and very sexy, so Mark just assumed that Sozin didn’t care about anything else. Even the virgin goddesses like Artemis were safe from Sozin’s perverted ways.
Mark looked down at himself again and thought about clothes being on him. While he was in his dimension, Mark could create whatever he wanted, so it was easy for him to form a pair of black trousers, a black shirt, and regular black shoes. This was what Mark was most comfortable in.
‘That’s better?’
[Yes, the user looks very handsome. The system also suggests that the user consider suppressing his Divine Mana before going to the mortal plane. The divine mana of any god – even in small amounts – is capable of eradicating entire worlds. If the user goes to the mortal plane with the full force of his current power, the user will be the one responsible for the extinction of his race.]
Mark blinked in surprise before he slowly nodded in understanding. Mark didn’t want to be the one responsible for erasing the planet that he worked so hard to save, so Mark hummed before he spoke.
“Suppress my power to only 30%. Is that a good number?”
[The system suggests the user suppress his power to at most 20%.]
“Really?”
Mark was surprised that he needed to suppress his power that much. Was Divine Mana really that dangerous?
Mark remembered that Sozin had once shown up on Earth when Mark got his system, and Mark wondered how much Sozin must’ve had to suppress his power back then to make sure he didn’t erase the planet with his appearance.
Mark just nodded to the system’s suggestion and spoke.
“Suppress my power to 15% of my full capacity.”
[Power suppression successful.]
The mana in Mark’s body suddenly reduced in intensity and the amount of it that was passing through Mark’s body also greatly reduced as his power was suppressed.
Mark could feel the extra power just waiting for his order to return, so Mark was sure that he could call on it if he ever needed to. But for now, this was going to be enough.
Once that was done, Mark asked the system if there was anything else he needed to watch out for, and the system told Mark that there was something happening to his body outside his dimension. Mark told the system to show him, and a vision appeared in Mark’s head showing him what was happening.
Mark chuckled in amusement before he sent out a burst of Divine Mana from his body and vanished.

…
Mark opened his eyes to the sight of a large two-headed spider trying to skewer him using one of its large metal legs.
The rook had been hiding in the ocean around Germany all this time while healing itself from the injuries it had received from Mark.
Once the Rook noticed that the Anima King and Mark were both down, it immediately thought about capitalizing on this chance and taking out Mark so that he would become the new leader of the Anima.
The Rook knew that both the Bishop and the Knight had been killed, so if it were to kill Mark, there wouldn’t be any human that would be able to stand up to it. But just as the Rook headed towards Mark and tried to skewer him, there was a burst of mana that froze the Rook in place.
The Rook had one of its eight legs in the air, and it was prepared to stab Mark through the back, and that was how it stayed once it felt the mana slam into it!
It couldn’t move a muscle, and the fear that corroded its mind prevented it from even being capable of thought! There was nothing that it could do! It was like a mouse being held down by the weight of the ocean!
Mark’s body began to glow with a strange golden light that threatened to blind the Rook before it slowly died out to reveal that Mark had completely changed! Mark was in his all-black outfit, and there was a golden aura of pure power surrounding Mark’s body like a cloak. Mark slowly got to his feet and looked up at the giant spider that was frozen in place.
Mark reached a hand out towards the spiked leg that was raised in the air, and when Mark couldn’t reach it with his normal height, he thought about being in the air, and he felt his feet slowly lifting off the ground as he floated using his Divine Mana.
The Rook just stared from its frozen prison as Mark reached his finger out and touched the tip of the spider’s leg.
BOOM!
The Rook, along with everything behind it for more than ten kilometers, vanished!
