Chapter 842: Revelation
The humans felt an immeasurable amount of strength passing through them as Mark increased the flow of his power once more!

All of the humans there were followers of Mark because they had dedicated themselves to his cause a long time ago, so they all received a massive boost from being one of Mark’s followers!

The first person to charge forward was a random A-rank who roared as he charged straight at a calamity-class monster with his sword primed for an attack! He swung his sword in a wide arc and he couldn’t hide his shock as he saw the monster’s body being cleaved in half from the force of the blow! The man reeled back hard as he stared at the blood on his blade, and in the next moment, he raised the sword and roared!

“YARRRRGGHHH!”

The battle cry spurred on the other humans, making them all charge toward the anima with reckless abandon and the massacre of the Bermuda Triangle began. Mark smiled as he watched what was happening before he finally turned his gaze to the left and looked at Luna, who had been staring up at him all this while.

Mark’s eyes softened, and in the next moment, he was standing in front of Luna with his hands behind his back. Luna stumbled back in shock at the sudden movement, and Mark just laughed. Luna couldn’t believe how fast Mark had moved! That wasn’t something you could call movement anymore! It was practically teleportation!

Mark took Luna by the arm before she could stumble too far and pulled her closer.

“Hey, babe.”

“M-Mark? Mark, what happened to you?”

Mark released an amused sigh as he gave Luna the same answer he had given to Pat.

“It’s a long story. But first—”

ROARRRRR!

The large city-like monster that had been attacking them roared as Megumi continued her assault on it, and Mark frowned as it started to interrupt what he was trying to say. Mark turned to the monster and his eyes glowed with a golden light as he spoke one word.

“Die.”

BOOM!

Mark unleashed a blast of pure Divine Mana that slammed into the monster’s body with the force of an asteroid! The mana’s corrosive nature shredded the monster into pieces, tearing it apart and sending all of its pieces crashing into the ocean in one go!

Mark blinked calmly as he watched the monster falling into the ocean before he turned back to look at Luna with that same smile on his face. Luna was staring at the monster with wide-eyed disbelief. Luna knew just how impossible it was for anyone to harm that beast all this while. It was so difficult that they had been working on finding a way to send it back into the ocean so they could figure out another plan of attack later.

Mark just killed it like it was an ant.

“Mark… are you really a god?”

“Something like that.”

“Something like that? That’s not an answer.”

Mark just laughed as he wrapped his hands around Luna’s waist and leaned in for a kiss. Luna did not deny Mark as she put her hand into Mark’s hair and kissed him deeply.

The sound of war and screams of victory echoed from all around them as the humans killed the last of the anima in the Bermuda Triangle, and Mark ignored all that as he slowly lifted himself and Luna from the ground using his Divine Mana.

When they separated, Luna had a blush on her face as she struggled to look Mark in the eye, and Mark used his thumb to clean the edge of Lua’s mouth which had some drool on it.

Luna was still holding Mark tightly, but her eyes widened in surprise when she looked to the side and saw that they were no longer on the ground! They were flying!

“Relax.”

Mark told Luna to calm down before she could get too shocked, and he told her to hold on because he was going to move very fast.

“What do you—”

Phwoom!

Mark and Lua vanished from the Bermuda Triangle.

The next time Luna opened her eyes, she realized that she was no longer over the ocean. Lua was standing on top of a tall skyscraper that overlooked a calm, desolate city in the distance. The sun was already high in the sky and Lua could feel that this was no longer the Earth she knew.

Where the hell were they?

“Mark!”

Arit’s voice echoed from behind them, and Mark turned around with a laugh and caught Arit when she jumped at him! Arit had turned back to her human form and she was laughing happily as Mark spun her around a few times! Arit had been unconscious when Mark left to get Lua, and when she woke up, Arit could also feel that this world was not the one she was used to living in.

Arit wondered who had brought her here and she was even prepared to fight the person once they got back, but once Arit saw Mark and Luna appear, she forgot everything about fighting and immediately ran to Mark!

Arit leaned down and kissed Mark deeply, and Mark put Arit down gently while kissing her back. Arit laughed as she separated from Mark after a few seconds, and Mark smiled as he heard a choked cry coming from Arit’s throat.

“I knew you’d come back. I knew it, but I was so scared. I felt all the tremors and all the explosions. It was like the world was ending, and I felt like coming to you every second. Thank you for winning, Mark. I’m so proud of you.”

Mark pecked Arit lovingly before pressing her head into his chest and holding her there as she cried. Mark stretched his other hand out to Luna and she came toward Mark, allowing him to wrap her in his arms as well.

The three of them were together like that for a while until finally, Luna couldn’t contain her curiosity anymore and she had to ask once more.

“Mark. Where are we? And how did you get this powerful? What happened to you?”

Arit used the back of her hand to clear the tears in her eyes before she looked up at Mark curiously. It was obvious that Luna had asked the exact questions that Arit had been trying to find answers to as well.

Mark looked down at his two girlfriends and saw that he was not going to get out of this without giving them proper answers. Mark materialized a large couch on top of the skyscraper before moving them toward it for them to sit down. Arit and Luma sat on either side of Mark while facing him, and Mark crossed his legs and sighed while looking into the sky before he spoke.

“Well, it all began when a bastard named Sozin gave me my blessing…”
