Chapter 252: Chapter 251- Surprise attack
“How does it feel?”
Rena sighed after hearing that question for the eighth time, before she responded with the same answer, “I am fine; nothing hurts.”
Inside the room other than her, only four people were present.
Bella and Ben were on the other side while Laila and Carl were on either side of the girl.
Richard was with Bellarine, as they went to discuss something with Bennet. Lilia was also with them.
Meanwhile, Emily was spending some time with Elizabeth and Nora.
Richard has informed them that he will be returning to Clion tomorrow to transport the soldiers to their home.
Returning back to the group of five, Ben and Carl were exchanging glances…wanting to ask something but too hesitant to voice it.
Bella heaved a sigh, and finally stated the matter of their concern, “Do you remember anything?”
Laila gasped as she nervously glanced at Rena.
This was a very sensitive topic.
The hell she went through in those months…naturally, everyone would be quite uncertain whether to ask about it or not.
Rena heaved a long sigh and looked at her hands. She seemed to be contemplating rather than being anxious—a good sign from others’ perspective.
After a bit of pause, Rena finally revealed, “I do remember the things I went through, but they are vague. It doesn’t hurt to think about it though, so y’all don’t need to worry.”
Ben asked in a sad tone, “Do you not resent us…? Even though we know where you were, we couldn’t come to save you for this long-ou!”
Rena flicked the guy on his forehead, “Stop blabbering bull crap. It wasn’t like you could have yet you didn’t save me. And being imprisoned alone was far better than letting you all get trapped there alongside me, so it was a wise decision to attack when you had proper backup.”
Rena could never resent her brothers, since she knew how helpless they were. The only thing she would ever regret is that she didn’t get the chance to kill that bastard who caused this whole ruckus.
“Yes, she is right, so now, don’t worry about the past and think about the future.” Bella encouraged them.
Rena grinned upon hearing such big words out of her mouth, “Hoh~my lil munchkin has matured enough to scold others now?”
Bella huffed, “I look older than you, so now, I am in charge.”
Rena chuckled, “That post shall be mine forever. Did you forget, who used to save you when you got lizards crawling in your bathroom? Or when you couldn’t tie your ribbon by yourself?”
With her eyes narrowing, the girl added, “Or did you forget who used to bear those w*ores who tried hitting on Rey?”
Bella grinned, “That was one of the most satisfying activities we used to do together.”
In the past, Rey used to get hit on by several women, even older ones. However, despite their stature or age, Rena and Bella used to easily take care of them. Yes, they sometimes get caught, but every time they get rescued by Bella’s mother.
The other three in the room felt a shiver running down their spines hearing their conversation.
They were obsessed about keeping women away from Richard.
“Talking about women…I heard Rey has multiple women by his side now? How did you allow that?”
Bella heaved a sigh, “I returned to him a little late…and Brother loves them quite dearly, so he prohibited me to hurt them.”
Rena narrowed her eyes, a thought passing by her mind. However, Bella warned her, “Unless you don’t want to be reprimanded by Brother or worse, face separation, don’t even try playing any pranks.”
Rena’s eyes slightly widened, as she asked in concern, “Has things progressed that much?”

Bella nodded, “Yeah…as I said, they all are a very important part of his life.”
Laila asked, “Umm…what were you planning to do, Sis?”
Rena sweetly smiled at the pink head, “Trust me, sweetie, you won’t ever want to know.”
“…”

[Clion]
It has been three days since they returned. The other apostles haven’t left since they were told by the Goddess to gather around.
And not only them, the church workers as well, were commanded to join forces and prepare for the upcoming war.
Every nation across the globe has received the warning that a massive war is approaching, so they should find a safe place as soon as possible.
However, Eleanor knows that once the war begins, no place will be safe. Thousands of innocent lives would be wasted and there was nothing she could do about it.
Walking toward the dining hall, she asked the one following her, “Is he still training?”
The girl with wavy blue hair and bright aquamarine eyes, responded, “Y-Yes, Lady Supreme. Lord Ethan hasn’t eaten anything and has been training non-stop.”
Eleanor heaved a sigh; this was to be expected. Although she forced him to take the Oath, she cannot change his mind. He still hates her down to his last bone and antagonizes the Light.
After thinking for a bit, she said, “Send a few people to provoke him. A few challenges would help him train better, and just when he finishes, send some gratin for him.”
A soft smile bloomed on her face. Ethan once told her that Gratin was his favorite dish since that was the only lavish food he used to eat on his birthday.
Surely he wouldn’t say no to gratin.
Eleanor was just about to enter the dining hall when suddenly, “Lady Supreme!”
One of the apostles arrived by her side and informed her, “A teleportation portal has appeared in Eldoria!”
Eleanor frowned, “The same portal?”
“Yes, the same portal which we used to travel to the other world.”
Eleanor felt anxious; is Richard going to launch a surprise attack?
Turning toward the girl, she commanded, “Prepare a battalion and get ready. We are going there.”
