Chapter 728: Five Guns
“This is the new weapon. Since I already understand the concept, I can replicate it easily. It has been modified by imbuing a crystal to enhance your ena output. This is the same as a staff, but the eye of this weapon is inside because it’s hollow,” Elder Thompson explained.

Nathan looked at the new pistol carefully. The design and everything looked identical.

He picked up the weapon and noticed a small difference in weight. “It’s heavier. I guess because of the crystal. Do you change anything else?”

“The pathway. By changing the flow of ena, you can imitate the ‘Speed’ as I mentioned before. There are two pathways for this gun. The default one will pass the crystal, which will act as a ‘Concentration’ but if you push this…” Elder Thompson pointed at a small handle that could be pushed with his thumb. “It will direct your ena to the second pathway for ‘Speed’ purposes.

“Well, this also means you should keep your weapon for now. I’m thinking about creating the third pathway for the normal one, but I wonder if you need it or not.”

“It’s fine. I like it this way. If you’re concerned about using too much ena, I simply don’t need to use ‘Concentration’ when using it.” Nathan shook his head. “Besides, I need power, so ‘Concentration’ should be the default. Besides, by using it this way, the gun itself can be utilized as a wand, right?”

“Exactly.” Elder Thompson nodded furiously. “If you hold it, it will be the same as your bracelet. That one has been amplified with a crystal. However, you only have one bracelet. If you want, you can actually use the bracelet on your left arm to focus on amplifying your left arm while using the gun on the right hand.”

“That’s also a possible option. For now, I’ll test it. What do you think?”

Elder Thompson nodded. “We’re at the edge of the city, so we can just go out and test it on the field.”

Nathan agreed with him.

Once they exited the workshop, Elder Thompson pointed at the plain field at the back of the workshop. “Do you want me to bring a dummy?”

“No need. I just want to test the power.”

“Alright. Shoot at your discretion.”

Nathan nodded. He first moved his bracelet to the left arm before pointing his gun forward.

Then, he applied ‘Concentration’ on his right hand, while the gun added another ‘Concentration’ through the crystal. The bullet formed and turned into a massive beam with almost the same output as the former gun when he shot with both hands.

“Hoh? The power itself is slightly lower, but unless you’re experiencing it both, you won’t really notice the difference.”

“Well, the crystal has an efficiency of 92% according to the theory. So, that’s the power difference.”

“It’s good enough.” Nathan nodded in approval. Then, he gathered his ena again, but this time, he formed a bullet cube on his left hand before shooting his gun.

He then shot all of them at the same time, creating an attack that combined numerous bullets and a beam.

“This is interesting. If I have something like this, I can shoot a powerful attack with only my right hand, and my left hand can focus on controlling the battlefield or supporting me.” Nathan’s eyes lit up.

If he combined this weapon with his Gun Control System, his fighting style would become even more versatile.

“I’m glad you like it.” Elder Thompson smiled.

“By the way, Elder Thompson. There are other guns I would like to consult with you. Do you have time?”

“Other guns?”

“Yes.” Nathan raised five fingers. “To put it simply, there are five more types I can think of right now.

“The first one is Shotgun. I wonder if we can create a smaller bullet or a bigger one that can somehow burst into multiple spreading bullets.”

“Hmm. This is going to be difficult.” Elder Thompson rubbed his chin. “We need to find the perfect pattern if we want to create such a specific bullet.”

“How about the second type? I call this Rifle. By creating a longer barrel, we can actually create a torrential bullet that will increase penetration. And with that size, it will be more stable and accurate for a longer distance.”

“That’s interesting. I don’t think it’s a problem for me to make one. It might not take that long if I have the blueprint.”

“I will spare my time to draw what I have in mind and send them to you later.” Nathan smiled. “The third type is Sniper Rifle. It’s similar to a Rifle, but this one is focused on range.

“It will be better if we can create a much more powerful bullet so that the bullet can travel a much longer distance, like a few hundred meters if possible.”

Elder Thompson gave a thumbs up. “I can do that, no problem.”

“The fourth one is called Machine Gun. This is rather different. The bullet can be the same or more powerful. But what differentiates it from others is that I want this one to allow automatic firing. In other words, when you pull the trigger, you will be able to shoot bullets in rapid succession.” Nathan activated his Gun Control System and showed the Machine Gun version. “Like this.”

The power and the speed were insane to the point where Elder Thompson dropped his jaws.

“This is even more insane. I can perhaps imitate that rapid fire by creating a seal inside the barrel while the gun continuously drains the ena. By making it spin continuously, we can control the rate of fire.”

“As expected of you. You already have a solution.” Nathan smiled wryly. “Last but not least, I want to create a rocket launcher.”

“Rocket launcher?”

“Yes. It fires one bullet per magazine, but it forms in its concentrated way. It launches that bullet and causes an explosion upon impact. With that kind of power, it should produce a big explosion.”

“Ohhh…” Elder Thompson’s eyes lit up. “This is why people like your teacher. Even her student is interesting. To put it simply, we go boom boom?”

Nathan couldn’t contain his smile with that summarization but still nodded his head. “Yes. We go boom boom!”
