Chapter 742: Anubis’ Overpowered Ability

“Shaa!”

The aliens let out their own cry while climbing the walls. Suddenly, several bullets appeared from the top of the wall and curved down, hitting the climbing aliens.

Even though their numbers were quite a lot, there were still so many aliens that managed to reach the top of the wall.

“Block them!”

Two shield users stood together as the alien pounced on one of them and hit the other shield with their foot. Still, its momentum had been stopped, allowing several people to take down the alien.

However, the alien blocked their swords with his arms before rotating his body and kicking them around.

“Aaahhh!” One of the soldiers got knocked back and got hit by another alien that had just reached the top of the wall. He had his rib broken from such a hard punch that cracked his armor.

He thought he would die after the alien attacked him one more time, but before the alien’s fist could reach him, a shadow appeared from the corner of his vision.

The alien ended up hitting the shield brought by that person.

“What? You…” The injured guy was stunned, almost forgetting his pain for a second.

“Hehe.” The middle-aged man smirked. “Let me show you how it’s done, kid.”

Two other soldiers looped around the middle-aged man and were about to strike the alien. This time, the first soldier moved faster, which threw off the timing of the alien, forcing him to focus on repelling the first sword.

Then the second guy slashed the alien’s arm. When the alien was about to retaliate, the middle-aged man banged the alien’s head with his shield, creating an opportunity for the other guy to slice his neck.

The injured soldier was in utter shock. The alien was easily struck down by these three veterans.

“Hey, Marc. We have the injured one here. Just like our savior said, bring him to the other edge of the wall.” The middle-aged man shouted.

“Oh!” One of the attackers nodded and grabbed the young soldier by the back of his collar and dragged him to the other side of the wall instead of bringing him back to the lower level for treatment, which confused the young soldier.

But when he turned his head left and right, he saw a lot of soldiers, who were supposed to be injured, suddenly return to the wall, completely cutting off the alien’s momentum.

Once they got their number back, the humans started pushing off the aliens from the wall and regained their height superiority.

It all happened because of a single person.

“What are you doing?” Anubis shouted. “I have healed all of you. Keep your surprise for later. Split up into two groups. The first group grabs all the injured people here so that I can swiftly heal them. The second group prepares to go back to your position.

“The fort is attacked and needs your help. Do I have to explain everything?!”

The soldiers were stunned. Sylvia was dumbfounded. Even the priests and nurses who took care of them couldn’t believe what they said.

Sylvia suddenly raised her voice, waking up the stunned soldiers. “I am Sylvia, Vice Commander Layfon’s personal maid. The current situation doesn’t look good according to my master. Please, brave warriors, take up your arms and continue to fight!”

The soldiers’ expressions turned grim. They exchanged nods with each other. They were here to fight the aliens in the first place. Now that their wounds were gone, they could fight again.

“I am Captain Regulus from the 12th battalion. Please hear me out. All the people on the left are to make preparations to return to the wall. All the people on the right will bring the injured here.”

With someone having the authority, the people started moving quickly. Although they were still shocked by the overwhelming healing ability, they could do it after they dealt with the attack.

“Once I’m done here, I will go to the wall again. If you see any injured ones, drag them to a safer place so that I can heal them once I arrive. It will take too long to bring them back here. I will go around the walls to heal every single one of you!” Anubis added.

The soldiers were fired up. Anubis healed more and more people. He had to focus on ensuring that all of them could return to the battlefield.

Although it was a shame that some people had their limbs torn off, which was impossible for him to heal right now, once they recovered, they should have no problem moving around.

However, there were some brave warriors who, despite losing a hand or a leg, still chose to swing their blade.

‘You’ve done a great job, Anubis. With this, we can push them back easily. Once we’re done here, we can gang up on the warrior class aliens.’ Nathan smirked while sending forth numerous bullets to the bottom of the wall.

Selena had understood what happened as well and chose to focus solely on the bigger beasts.

As Nathan expected, twenty-five minutes after the battle began, Anubis finally returned to Nathan’s side.

While landing on the edge of the wall, Anubis smiled. “It took longer than I originally thought. However, should I start healing these people, Summoner?”

“We don’t plan to stay here for long, so go all out.”
