A huge explosion occurred inside that hole, which was the hole in its body. As a result, there was no tough skin that could stop it anymore.

The explosion hit the inside of the alien’s body and disintegrated the flesh around it, leaving nothing but a single core and the tough skin.

Selena had also taken down the warrior class alien on her side. She first took a glance at the current situation.

Surprisingly, Risa was surpassing her limit.

When she looked left and right, most of the aliens had been taken down. Only those above the juvenile class mutant or mature class were able to survive. Even then, they had suffered a massive injury.

Risa alone had killed around three hundred aliens. At the same time, she was sweating like crazy. She would probably exhaust all her ena in two or three minutes.

Hence, Selena said nothing to Risa. Instead, she turned around and shouted to the rest, “Retreat to the top. We have to check on the other girls!”

They nodded and followed Selena to the top.

As Selena expected, they definitely understood Nathan’s message. However, it was so coincidental that all of them reached the peak at the same time.

“You guys…” Selena raised her head.

“We can’t let Nathan fight alone.” Flora nodded.

“We have to help him.” Alavenya smiled.

“This is not the end. I can still fight.” Noelle gripped her sword tightly.

“Selena. Your order, please!” Sera reminded her there was something they needed to do.

Selena took a deep breath and checked the other three directions. She lastly made sure Nathan was still fighting before giving her order.

“Alavenya, Noelle. Both of you have to help Nathan. Your power is much more useful in fighting a single alien, so help him.”

“What about you? Your power is above us,” Alavenya asked.

“I have another task.” Selena turned to Flora. “Flora. You follow them. Although they can fight the mutant, there’s no one who can stop the lower-level aliens. It’s your role. Make sure they’re able to focus on that mutant.”

“If I go there, you…” Flora suddenly realized Selena’s role.

Selena smiled while saying, “Sera. Support me here.”

“Alright.” Sera nodded. “I will ask Brunhild to take care of Risa’s side, since it looks like there aren’t many aliens left. The other two sides will be yours.”

Selena turned around while tapping the ground with the back of her wand. “What are you three doing? Go. Leave this to me.”

Selena raised her wand and formed a massive cube, even bigger than what Nathan summoned.

“Although I don’t know much about Nathan’s power, I have seen it enough to imitate it in a way. I will use this to the limit and stop these thousands of aliens here.” Selena took a deep breath while splitting the cube. “Artillery.”

While Selena and the others dealt with their respective opponents, Nathan’s side was in a terrible situation.

“Kh.” Nidhogg gritted his teeth. A few of his scales had fallen off as he was bleeding all over his body. “Don’t waste your power on me, Anubis! Focus on our summoner!”

“That’s right. We can handle these guys just fine!” Jinwu let out a cry. His body was also covered in wounds.

“Don’t worry. I will assist them.” Peng remained unharmed, but he had exhausted a lot of his ena. He didn’t want to get injured yet because he might have to transform into Kun and use his body later. He had to maintain a perfect condition as much as possible for the later phase of the fight. There was also a chance that this plan wouldn’t succeed, so he had to bring Nathan and the others away.

There was a reason Selena and the others could deal with their respective warrior class aliens. It was because Nidhogg, Jinwu, and Peng handled all the flying aliens. Without the flying aliens, their battlefields became less complex.

Still, this meant Nathan, Fenrir, and Anubis had to handle not only the warrior class mutant but also hundreds of lower-level aliens by themselves.

“Kh…” Nathan gritted his teeth. There was no wound on his body, but his clothes were tattered, showing how many wounds he had before Anubis healed him.

Fenrir’s fur had turned half-red as well.

Nathan used his bullets to suppress the incoming aliens, but as a result, the mutant could freely punch him. The mummy assassin grabbed him around, using its speed to avoid the attack from the alien. However, the other four guardians kept dying and reviving.

“Kh. We have gotten overwhelmed…” Nathan gritted his teeth. He glanced at Fenrir’s state. Even though he had no wound, he was exhausted.

All those wounds were enough to kill him multiple times, if not for Anubis after all.

On the other hand, the mutant was in much better shape. Although he still had a big wound on its body, half of it had been regenerated. Nathan managed to take its left lower arm, but even while regenerating, the alien was still able to use it.

The warrior class mutant punched Fenrir with that half-recovered left arm and knocked him to the ground.

Then he punched Fenrir’s stomach with his other arm. Fenrir put all four feet in front of him to stop the punch, but to no avail.

“Gah!” He spat a mouthful of blood as his bone was broken. Anubis healed him, but Fenrir’s body had started shaking due to all those wounds.

“No, you won’t recover this arm!” Nathan took that opportunity to reach the half-recovered arm and froze it.

However, a mature class humanoid alien grabbed his head and tossed it to the ground.

Other aliens surrounded him, some were close enough to pounce on him.

Nathan gritted his teeth. It felt like he had read this scenario so many times where the main character had to stay alive and a plot armor would appear out of nowhere, whether it was a sudden appearance of a new character or an acquaintance passing by.

Still, he disliked the idea of getting saved by a superstition in this world. That was why he chose to do everything by himself, including creating that opportunity by himself.

Despite the aliens coming at him, Nathan smiled at the mutant. “It’s the end. It’s my victory, you alien bastard.”

The aliens harrumphed and threw another punch at Fenrir to kill him, showing Nathan that he was the one winning.

However, he abruptly sensed several presences coming from the top of the hill. The alien didn’t have eyes, but its senses were sharp. Still, after fighting Nathan for so long, it was quite worn down, so it didn’t notice the incoming presence.

“Attack!” Flora’s voice echoed as fire, ice, lightning, stone, and plant elements erupted, sweeping all the aliens around Nathan.

“Demonic Sword Style, Sword Blaze!” Flora and Murmur launched themselves toward the arm that was about to reach Fenrir and struck it, pushing the arm away.

“Dragon Kick!” Alavenya came from the side and kicked the frozen arm and shattered it before the residual momentum hit the mutant, almost tripping the alien.

Nathan’s smile became bigger. “I’m not fighting alone because all my girls can keep up with me!”
