Chapter 897: Troublesome Alien
“Sir… What are we going to do?” A soldier asked Count Einren.

Count Einren squinted his eyes. “We’ll split the group into two. I will lead the first group to follow this monster. The second group will focus on creating a trail and report to the prince that the group that provoked this monster is Her Highness Flora.”

“Understood.” The soldier nodded and turned back, informing the rest of the soldiers.

Count Einren simply couldn’t take his eyes away from this battle, even though he was already an arcane level summoner.

The attacks were coming in all directions. From the right, there were massive blood tornadoes and Nathan’s artillery. The left side was filled with all kinds of elemental power. The front side had Flora’s and the lightning spirit’s attack while Selena closed the top.

There was no other way to escape this kind of attack, especially for such a big target as the centipede.

But the centipede moved forward as though there was nothing in front of it.

The flying aliens surprisingly flew to the front, using their bodies to block the attack.

The elemental attack shredded them apart, Selena’s Imperfection blew them up, Nathan’s Artillery and Risa’s bloodstorm tore them to pieces, and the Thunder God Spear pierced through them.

But none of them was able to reach the elite class alien. Most of them disappeared after hitting the target.

In addition, a warrior class mutant stood in the Thunder God Spear’s way. Its hands turned into multiple tentacles that expanded and bit the Thunder God Spear like those of snakes. They ripped it apart, not allowing any attack to reach their leader.

Still, the most shocking thing the aliens did was that the centipede actually attacked them back.

The bodies that were supposed to fall after receiving the attack suddenly stopped mid-air. They were floating for a few seconds, alerting Nathan.

‘That’s… not good!’ Nathan shouted, “Shield!”

Those bodies flew like bullets. Raphael waved his hand while Sera activated her artifact, creating two giant shields.

*Bam!*

Each body contained so much power that the crash produced such a loud sound. The blood splattered, covering the shield, which ultimately blocked their vision.

“Tsk!” Nathan clicked his tongue. The opponent actually possessed an extremely annoying power. “Telekinesis, huh?”

“!!!” They all raised their eyebrows. It was common knowledge that an elite class alien would possess a unique ability, which differentiated them from other aliens below them.

And this massive monster had Telekinesis. It might not be able to move fast, but it could release an extremely powerful attack from a distance. In other words, even if they maintained their distance, the alien could still attack them on top of the numerous aliens that would surround them.

As if knowing their roles, the aliens on the ground actually destroyed the woods underneath the colossal alien. The latter then used the telekinesis to throw them at Nathan and the others.

*Crack!*

Under such a relentless attack, Sera’s barrier started to crack. Even Raphael had a hard time maintaining his barrier.

Selena leaped to the top of the barrier, skillfully standing on top of the thin barrier with her feet. She then waved her wand, pushing away the incoming objects to lessen their burden.

It would only last for a while, but it allowed Nathan to change his strategy. “Peng.”

“That annoying guy is still with us, Master.”

Nathan acknowledged that information. “Mae. Use your illusion to make it look like I still have no element and no magic circle. I will play along as well. Flora, get ready. Things are going to get rough. Selena, that’s enough. Sera, Raphael, retract the barrier!”

Mae opened her bamboo fan as she activated her power.

Selena leaped back once she heard the order. Once Raphael and Sera retracted their barriers, Nathan could see all the incoming objects.

Nathan summoned one cube in each hand and split them. These were his explosive bullets, and he had also activated his Acceleration magic, allowing him to process all information much faster in his head.

Then Nathan split all those bullets almost at the same time. Each bullet surprisingly hit an object before exploding, knocking them away from the alien’s telekinesis.

What was more shocking was the fact Nathan could do it continuously as if his control was equal to that of an elite class alien.

“!!!” Count Einren couldn’t help but drop his jaw. For an arcane level summoner like him, Nathan’s feat was much higher than he thought. Even someone like him had to either blast them all or avoid them, but Nathan was able to shoot them down.

Selena squinted her eyes. Even she didn’t have the time to achieve such a thing. The only thing that allowed him to do it was Acceleration magic.

Noticing that its attack was no longer effective, the alien produced a deafening echo, which resulted in the flying aliens spreading in the sky.

More importantly, there were more and more aliens coming from their surroundings.

It was then a loud cry echoed. It didn’t come from Jinwu. Instead, it came from far ahead… a gryphon’s cry.

Murmur took off to the sky, riding his gryphon as if telling Nathan not to care about the flying aliens in their path and just focus on dealing with the aliens around the elite class alien. “Let’s go, Partner!”

*Cry!*

The gryphon sped up as Murmur massacred the flying aliens in his path.

Nathan smiled because he could focus on the elite class alien again. “I will deal with the elite class alien’s attack. At the very least, there won’t be aliens coming straight at us. Selena, you focus on dealing with the ones coming from the right. Flora, left. Sera, above. Nidhogg and Jinwu focus on these small groups of beasts coming from all directions.”

“Got it!” Sera nodded.

“I have been waiting for this.” Asmodeus raised his hands as Dane and Lavi flew up.

Selena activated the boots that Leyfon gave to her and actually stepped on the air as if it was the ground.

Flora, on the other hand, noticed something off. “But won’t it be a problem if those land aliens come at us? It seems that centipede plans to use them to stop us.”

“Don’t worry. There’s already someone to deal with them.” Nathan smiled.

“As you wish, Master!” Mae leaped off Peng’s back and turned back to her fox form. Then, from that small fox, she used the shape-shifting ability to grow her size, at least to half Kun’s size. “I will hold them back!”
