Chapter 1945: Give me some time, I will end him myself.
In the corner of the Vast Universe, a being with long black hair was hovering in Outer Space, surrounded by Universal Energy that was no different than poison to others.
This poison, however, didn’t seem to have any effect on this being. Rather, this being was absorbing this poison and getting stronger and stronger at a rate so scary that even the strongest beings in the Universe would feel alarmed by it.
The being was handsome, extremely handsome. With his body hovering in the air, he seemed no different than a God. He had a serene look on his face, but suddenly, a slight frown appeared.
“Hmm?”
He opened his eyes.
“Are you saying he is attacking my world?”
He muttered. It was almost as if he was talking to himself.
Soon, however, his expression turned even grimmer.
“To think he would choose a time when I cannot protect my world…”
The being clenched his fists, frustrated.
He wanted nothing more than to return and protect his world, but…
“I cannot go.”
He shook his head, calming his intense emotions down.
“If he senses my presence, he might devour me too, and if he does that…
He will become too strong.”
The being knew his importance. He was now connected to the Universe’s Will. He was the Universe’s Chosen. The Universe’s Child.
If the Anomaly devoured him, it would gain a part of the Universe’s Will and become too strong. Stopping him would be impossible if that happened.
“You want to devour Yrniel?”
The being frowned. He still seemed like he was talking to himself, as if he had lost his mind.
“And what do you think would happen then? How many worlds have you destroyed trying to catch him? Has it succeeded before? What makes you think it would succeed now?”
The being questioned, and then suddenly, a cruel look appeared on his face.
“Don’t worry. This time, you aren’t the only one that bastard has challenged. He is now against me.
Give me some time,
I will end him myself.”
Silence fell in the area.
The being continued to stare in a certain direction, his crimson eyes shining threateningly, but then, as if the cruel expression he had shown was fake, his face returned to normal and… he closed his eyes.
As if this matter didn’t bother him anymore.
Time passed. The being continued to absorb the Universal Energy, getting stronger and stronger with each passing second.
The being continued to hover in space, unbothered by anything around him. The very Universal Energy hid his existence. Even if a being walked right past him, that being wouldn’t be able to sense him.
He had nothing to worry about and could cultivate in peace without having to worry about anything.

But then…
The space around him trembled, and once again, a frown appeared on his handsome face.
“Again?”
He muttered, his frown deepening.
“Take me there.”
He spoke, and suddenly, his body dematerialized, as if it was engulfed by the very Universe.
The being then materialized in Yrniel, where the Anomaly was supposed to be creating a mess. However, the instant he appeared here…
His expression changed.
“I do not see anything.”
Yrniel was… peaceful.
This was completely out of expectations.
After all, the Leaders of this world had disappeared. There should be chaos all over the place.
“No, I do not see anything. There is no sign of the Anomaly.”
Azriel muttered again, his expression grim.
“Did he leave?”
He wondered.
“Did he know I would be coming here?
But how…?”
The Universe’s Child couldn’t understand.
Then, a determined look appeared on his face as he realized something.
“He will come again.”
He muttered.
“He is targeting this place because of your connection to me. I cannot let this happen anymore.
I…
I will create another shield.”
Azriel spoke as he hovered in the air.
The space around him trembled again, and suddenly, his expression changed.
“You will?”
He blinked in surprise, and very quickly, a light smirk appeared on his face.
“20,000 years would be enough.”
Azriel muttered as suddenly,
BOOOOOOOOOOOM
Yrniel’s energy levels shot up.
In an instant, every being in this world passed out. Yrniel’s Will itself flickered in surprise and appeared in front of Azriel.
A gentle smile appeared on Azriel’s face as he sensed the familiar energy.
Yrniel had finally absorbed all the energy he had released, but now, its energy was rising even further. It was something that even Yrniel found surprising.
“The Universe is giving you the energy required to create a third shield.
This will protect you from that darned Anomaly until I am strong enough to take him down.”
Azriel revealed.
Yrniel’s core flickered, and despite not being connected to it any longer, he could feel its joy.
The Universe’s Child smiled at that. Then, he stared at the white ball hovering in front of him and,
“Give birth to new Progenitors. This time, distribute the powers evenly so they can become strong enough to protect you in the future. Don’t rely on just one.”
Yrniel’s core flickered at those words, and Azriel nodded.
“Stop worrying. I am not going anywhere. I will still be here to protect you.
This shield won’t affect me, so I will continue to visit.
This is not a goodbye.”
The core flickered again, and after Azriel nodded at it one last time,
Flicker
It flickered even more violently as suddenly,
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
The entire world shook.
BOOOOOM
A vast amount of energy exploded out of the white ball hovering in front of Azriel, instantly covering the entire world. Then, the energy solidified, forming what seemed like a transparent barrier around him.
Bzztt
The transparent barrier flickered more than once. Azriel patiently watched the entire process. He could also sense the numerous eyes that were attracted towards Yrniel.
It was the beings from the Middle-Level World in this sector.
Sensing something strange happening to one of their subordinate worlds, they all gathered and expanded their senses.
But then, Azriel closed his eyes, and all of Yrniel was surrounded by Universal Energy, blocking all the prying eyes and at the same time, giving an impression that Yrniel was about to be devoured.
Bzztt
Five minutes later, after one last flicker, the barrier solidified itself. The Universal Energy surrounding Yrniel disappeared together with Yrniel.
And just like that,
Yrniel hid itself from the rest of the Universe for the third time.
