Chapter 175: Bloodline Domain
“I lost!” Geminia admitted defeat.
When Geminia admitted defeat, Nemo jumped back, regaining control of his body.
At that moment, a strange feeling came over him. Although he had won, it seemed to him that it was not his merit, but the merit of the Dark Daggers. He didn’t taste victory, but only disappointment.
“Oh, young people!” the voice said with a slight irony, noticing Nemo’s gloomy mood.
“Keep going, boy! And be closer to your younger comrades. When you achieve what you want, go to Magelia, to a place known as the “Sea of Dead Souls!”, and if you’re lucky, you can get his legacy. I hope for you, boy…” — without finishing, the old man’s voice trailed off, and with it the Dark Daggers, disintegrating into dark particles, disappeared, leaving only two black marks, which soon also disappeared.
At the same time, Nemo felt the fragile connection that had formed with the Bloodline Domain being severed. A sharp pain shot through him, from which he could not stay on his feet and fell.
The little animal, which all this time, under the influence of Nemo’s newly acquired ability, took the form of Nemo’s missing hand, lost consciousness and fell out of Nemo’s hand, regaining its beloved kitten form.
Geminia, noticing that the kitten had fainted, went up to her, gently hugged her and immediately began to check her condition. She felt the presence of a mysterious force that began to destroy the little beast’s body. Frowning, she used her Soul Force to erase that power, thus preventing further harm.
Then she turned her attention to Nemo. From the very first moments, she caught traces of this force on all the damaged parts of his body and immediately understood where it came from. Shaking her head, she used her Soul Force to slightly restrain the force that was starting to spin out of control, giving Nemo time to recover.
Nemo’s condition was worse than a kittens. Geminia noticed that this force had been present in his body for a long time and was so deeply ingrained that even she, being in a limited state of Limbo, could not completely help Nemo get rid of it, as it was with a small beast. She could only alleviate the symptoms and not let this force rage and grow.
Everyone who was watching was in a complete daze, unable to utter a word. They seemed to be mesmerized by the scene unfolding in front of them.
A few seconds ago, Idan and Arabel were watching Esma with a slight smirk when she saw the Dark Daggers appear. She was pointing at them, trying to say something, but the words wouldn’t come out of her mouth-she was so shocked. But Esma was even more surprised when she noticed Arabel’s smirk when she looked at her. And then it dawned on Esma that the damn couple knew Nemo had the Dark Daggers.
In the end, everyone froze in silence, even Idan and Arabel held their breath after seeing how the battle ended.
Although everything happened in less than a minute, it seemed like a lot more time had passed.
The couple wanted to rush to Nemo, but the barrier prevented any of them from entering while someone was inside.
“What… What just happened to Nemo?” — Eulalia finally said, overcome with anxiety for his condition.
Not a word was said in response, everyone was just recovering from the shock.
“You… You know what happened to him, don’t you?” said Eulalia to Idan and Arabel.
“We don’t know!” exclaimed Arabel, although she and Idan had some guesses. But these were just guesses, not the truth, so Arabel answered like this.
“The Nemo bloodline tried to go through the so—called ‘rebirth,’ but another force prevented this process,” Sierra spoke up, looking carefully at Eulalia.
“And what is ‘rebirth’? Eulalia asked, puzzled.
“Phew. As I see it, you’re an elf, and your bloodline belongs to the lower realm, so you don’t know about it. But for the higher races, this is a common thing, and this is what distinguishes the lower races from the higher ones. A lower realm from a higher one,” Sierra replied.
“The path of the bloodline is divided into two realms: the lower and the higher. And it’s the bloodline that determines what rank you can rise to. As a member of a lower race with a lower bloodline, you, Eulalia, cannot reach the higher realm without help, no matter how hard you try. Your bloodline limits you to the lower realm,” Sierra spoke the harsh truth.
Eulalia, of course, knew roughly that with her bloodline, she was not destined to reach the higher realm unless she received the so-called quota. But she had no idea what exactly it was, except for the rumors.
“Children of a superior race are not born immediately with a superior bloodline. Like everyone else, they are born with a lower bloodline. However, as they grow older, their bloodline begins to develop on its own. When children reach a certain age, their bloodline undergoes a so-called “rebirth.” At this moment, she breaks through from the lower realm to the higher, simultaneously changing the child’s body and endowing him with the talent of the higher realm, which removes all the limitations of the lower realm.”
Sierra, seeing the interest of Eulalia and the couple in this issue, decided to explain to them in detail the differences between the lower and higher spheres.
“Moreover, with the breakthrough into the higher realm, the bloodline establishes a connection with the so-called Bloodline Domain!”
“Heh, the bloodline domain!” snorted Esma with displeasure.
“Each race’s bloodline domain is unique and unrepeatable, but at the same time, they have common features. If we go into the details, it will take a long time. It is important to remember the following: in order to reach the highest realm, you, Eulalia, need to find your own path, go through rebirth and create your own bloodline domain. This is an almost impossible task for most creatures. Only a few can accomplish such a feat.

The second way to reach the higher realm is to establish a connection with an already existing bloodline domain with someone who is already connected to that domain. Thanks to this connection, you will be able to go through rebirth and gain access to the higher realm.”
It was a truly amazing discovery for Eulalia, and she was immensely grateful to Sierra for sharing such important information with her. Now she was starting to understand what this quota she had heard about before was.
“As for you guys, let me warn you: if you manage to get out of this place in Junonia, consider the Celestial Continent as your potential enemy!” said Sierra with a serious expression on her face. Esma nodded, agreeing with Sierra’s words.
Arabel was very surprised by what she heard.
“Why?” she asked.
“Without exception, all the Valkyries in the Junonia world are linked to a single Bloodline Domain, which is ruled by the current Valkyrie Queen. In ancient times, there were several such Domains, which caused conflicts between us. As a result, a war broke out, and the first Queen, having defeated all the Domains, united the remaining Valkyries into one single Domain».
«Since then, any attempt to create their own domain is considered treason, and all Valkyries who succeed in this, without exception, become enemies of the Celestial continent».
No sooner had they left this small world than they found out that they could become enemies of an entire continent because of their bloodlines. This news, of course, shocked them both.
“Arabel, you have no connection to the Bloodline Domain. I do not know if you have passed the “Rebirth”, but because of your ability to change races, your position is already quite unusual. Perhaps when you reach the “Diamond” rank and try to break through to the higher realm, you will be able to undergo “Rebirth”. Then you will probably create your own domain, unless, of course, you establish a connection with ours. If you create your own, you will immediately become the enemy of all Valkyries!”
Finally, with these words, Sierra ended her explanation and warning addressed to the couple.
“Hehe hehe, don’t worry so much, little sister! No matter what you choose, you will always be our little sister from another world. We understand your situation, and even if we leave this world and you decide to go your own way, we won’t become enemies!”
Esma, noticing Arabel’s anxiety, tried to calm her down, making it clear that they would not become enemies, no matter what.
Hearing Esma’s words and seeing that Sierra shared her thoughts, Arabel couldn’t help but admire them both.
“Thank you, sisters,” Arabel said, barely holding back tears, and her gratitude touched the hearts of Sierra and Esma, making them smile. After all, Arabel rarely addressed them as sisters.
