Chapter 248: Arguments
“How is this possible?” asked Milica, looking at the two kids. She couldn’t believe what she had heard and thought that Idan was just making fun of her. However, seeing Idan and Arabel in front of him and knowing their secrets, the idea that they were telling the truth began to take root.

“Didn’t Nemo say that Izzy and Rizzy both passed their stage of development due to the power gained from Idan and Arabel? And as far as I know, they have the ability to possess several bloodlines at the same time!” thought Milica.

Geminia was no less surprised than Milica. But unlike the latter, she had personally met with representatives of the Rain Clan and knew what they were capable of. And the fact that these two little ones possessed two bloodlines of the higher races, one of which belonged to the Rain Clan, caused her to be horrified. Imagining what kind of monsters these girls could become, Geminia felt a shiver run through her body.

Eulalia became a third party, and her presence was no different from Kitty and Coco.

Idan, Arabel, and Nemo were very surprised to see such a reaction from the three elders. Milica has just calmly confirmed that there are hybrids in Junonia. They exchanged glances again.

“There are indeed hybrids in Junonia, but only in the lower realm,” Milica clarified, calming down a little after noticing the puzzled looks of her disciples.

“A descendant of two members of a superior race is always born inheriting only one of their parents’ bloodlines,” Geminia added.

“Therefore, the higher races don’t have any hybrids or beings with two bloodlines.”

“Heh, so these girls are really unique?” — Idan was happy with this combination of circumstances, playing with Rizzy in his arms. Suddenly, he felt a gaze from the side. Even without looking, he could tell who that gaze belonged to.

“Is Arabel really jealous of baby Rizzy?” a surprised Eulalia asked Milica. It was amazing for her to see Arabel so openly showing her jealousy.

Milica also found Arabel’s behavior funny, although she understood that it was all the fault of the side effect that the couple were talking about.

From this, Milica and the others could conclude that the couple’s relationship had gone quite far, since Arabel was experiencing such a side effect for a minor reason. Without the slightest reaction from Arabel herself, the side effect would not have appeared at all. If it makes itself felt, then Arabel is really jealous of the little girl.

“Yes, they’re really special,” Sierra couldn’t take her eyes off Izzy. The longer she looked at the baby, the more adorable she seemed to her, and Sierra even had thoughts of stealing her.

“So you brought the babies to leave them here?” asked Milica.

“Yes, Master. I was going to go to Magelia in search of your acquaintance, until this happened. I can’t take them both with me. I didn’t have any connections with the second baby, so I asked Idan to sign a contract with her and help bring her here, without thinking a bit about the consequences,” Nemo confessed through a mental link.

Milica nodded, agreeing with Nemo’s decision.

Nemo couldn’t carry these little girls around with him all the time, especially when they found out how unique they were.

“You made the right decision, Nemo, don’t worry about it. We’ll take care of Izzy, but I doubt Rizzy will stay here in Limbo anymore,” she said, looking at the baby in Idan’s arms and how comfortable she felt in his arms.

“I am… I’m against it!” exclaimed Arabel.

Everyone ignored Arabel’s protest.

“Perhaps Rizzy’s behavior is related to the contract?” Idan suggested, taking his eyes off the child and looking at Milica. “What if I break the contract?”

“You shouldn’t do that,” Geminia interjected. “Tell me, did she drink your blood before signing the contract?”

“Yes, she was drinking,” Idan replied, nodding his head.

“Besides your blood, whose else did she drink?”

“Mine, but after Rizzy tasted Idan’s blood, she stopped drinking anyone’s blood except his,” Geminia heard through a mental link from Nemo.

“Well, Arabel, it looks like you’ll have to take the baby with you,” Geminia said with a smile, noticing how Arabel’s mood was rapidly changing after her words.

“You see, vampires are known to be able to drink any blood. However, things are a little different for newborn vampires. They can also drink any blood until they find the one they consider the most delicious and healthy for their growth. And once they find it, they won’t drink anyone’s blood except this one until they reach a certain stage of their growth.”

“But…” Arabel, who was still under the effects of the side effect, wanted to object, but she restrained herself with difficulty.

“Fortunately or unfortunately for Rizzy, it seems that Idan’s blood is the one that is useful for her growth. If she regularly drinks Idan’s blood, she will grow faster by leaps and bounds.”

“Don’t tell me that I don’t need to break the contract and take Rizzy with me?” Idan didn’t even think about leaving Rizzy by his side. He was already ready to break the contract with her and immediately start rebuilding his second star, so that it would be ready in case he met with a creature suitable for the contract in the future.

“Yes, Idan, you don’t need to break the contract,” Milica said, supporting Geminia’s point of view. “You can break the contract and keep Rizzy, but then you’ll have to visit Limbo regularly to provide the baby with your blood. She’s already tasted your blood and won’t drink anyone else’s except yours. You shouldn’t have let her taste your blood in the first place.”

“What happens to her if she stops drinking my blood?” asked Idan.

“Degradation, — Geminia replied shortly.

“Give up, Idan, it’s better for you and the baby, — Sierra intervened. “As soon as she grows up, you can break the contract if baby Rizzy wants to break up with you. Besides, your contract will protect her from her main soul. There’s a high chance that once you break your contract, the Main Soul will probably reconnect with her, and once Rizzy leaves Limbo, her Main Soul will find her.”

Under the onslaught of arguments, Idan began to give up. He looked at Nemo and Arabel before deciding what to do.

Nemo was the one who initially took care of Rizzy and is kind of considered his “father”. But Arabel was not only his girlfriend, but also his partner and future wife. Idan didn’t want her to have even the slightest reason to be jealous.

“I don’t mind,” Nemo replied calmly. He trusted Idan completely, and leaving baby Rizzy in his and Arabel’s care seemed like the best decision to him. Especially when he found out that Idan’s blood would be good for Rizzy.

Arabel was silent, trying to sort out her feelings. The side effect she was experiencing was greatly affecting her true emotions, and she couldn’t bring herself to give Idan an answer. Everyone around was in favor of Idan keeping Rizzy with him, but she continued to resist a little.

Arabel closed her eyes and took several deep breaths, trying to calm herself.

“I don’t mind,” she finally said in a barely audible voice, giving her consent. As soon as she said that, all the chaos in her soul began to subside, as if it had admitted defeat in this matter.
