Chapter 251: In way
A little over two days later, a rift opened on the snowy outskirts, from where the couple moved to another world. A young man with blond hair and blue eyes got out of it, dressed not for the weather.
There was a little fox lying on his shoulder, which immediately looked around. Feeling the cold wind, she snuggled against the young man’s body, trying to keep warm.
“Damn, I completely forgot that it was evening when we teleported to Junonia.”, — Idan thought, paying attention to the evening darkness around him.
He took out warm winter clothes, a hat and boots and quickly changed his clothes. Then, looking at Coco, he asked:
“So, Coco, tell me, what did the Mistress tell you? Keep an eye on me?”
Coco looked into his eyes and shook her head.
“Hmm… strange…” muttered Idan, being sure that Arabel had asked Coco to keep an eye on him.
The thought occurred to him when Arabel handed him Coco with a smile. From the expression on the fox cub’s face, it could be seen how happy and enthusiastic she was. Usually, Coco has such a face only in one case — when she is given a piece of candy. This led Idan to believe that Arabel had given the fox a piece of candy.
But for what?
After a moment’s thought, Idan summoned Ned. After looking around and not finding Arabel nearby, Ned perked up and, taking the form of a dark fox, began to run around his master.
“Okay, Ned, it’s time for us to hit the road,” Idan said after playing with him for a while.
Ned, still pleased with Arabel’s absence, took the form of a large bird instead of a wyvern and, picking up Idan, swiftly soared into the sky, heading north.
All night long, Idan, sitting on Ned, who took the form of a huge bird, flew tirelessly.
“Find a suitable place to set up camp and land, Ned, let’s wait out the storm,” by morning the weather had turned bad, and Idan decided to wait out the bad weather.
Soon, a group of one person and two strange creatures in the form of foxes set up camp. Idan, out of habit, prepared delicious food for everyone, while simultaneously completing a task to increase the level of cooking skills. Having refreshed themselves, all three decided to rest.
Inside the tent, both foxes, big and small, huddled against Idan, pretending to be cold. Idan just smiled, not resisting their antics.
“I hope that Master and the others will find some of the necessary resources,” Idan muttered, remembering how he had handed over a small list of materials they needed to improve their storage space. They already had the rarest basic resource, the small spatial stone. There are still a few left to collect.
Although the couple could have bought everything they needed in the «Trade» function, Idan decided to try his luck first and look for resources in the world of Junonia. They already had few System Points, so Idan and Arabel decided to save.
“Besides, there’s the elder Nemo. Even if Master and the others can’t find everything they need inside Limbo, maybe Nemo will find them in Junonia, Idan thought, hoping to find all the resources without having to spend System points.
“Perhaps it’s worth waiting until Arabel gets rid of her side effect before using the certificate for the Candlelit Dinner from Supreme Chef System. Of the three personal rewards he could choose for winning the bet, Idan settled on the second option, without even considering the first and third.
“I wonder how System will arrange all this? Are we being teleported somewhere or what?” Idan wondered, burning with curiosity and impatient for the moment to take advantage of his reward. However, due to Arabel’s problems, he decided to postpone this pleasure for later.
“Hehe, — Idan grinned, remembering the main reward he received for the bet.
“When will it be most convenient to use it?” he mused, unable to decide on the time.
Idan couldn’t wait to enjoy the privilege of becoming Valkyrie Arabel’s master for one day.
“I can’t wait to see her in this guise, serving me like a faithful servant!” his imagination ran wild, and his thoughts took him into the territory of dirty fantasies until he dozed off.
Idan woke up towards noon, feeling an irresistible desire to drink blood through the contract. From the howling of the wind outside, Idan realized that the storm still hadn’t subsided, but its strength seemed to have become a little weaker.
Idan carefully crouched down and summoned Rizzi. The little girl appeared instantly, without even looking around, and immediately stretched out her little hands to Idan.
“Are you hungry?” asked Idan with a smile, extending his index finger towards Rizzy. Without hesitation, she grabbed it, pulled it to her mouth, bit it, and began to drink greedily.
“Drink slowly, slowly, — Idan said, but Rizzy, not listening to him, drank as greedily as if she hadn’t drunk anything all day.

Giving up, Idan just waited for the baby to get enough.
Soon, as in the previous times, Rizzy began to drink blood very slowly, as if savoring its taste and enjoying the process.
Unable to believe that he had become something of a babysitter for Rizzy, Idan, having finished feeding her, pampered her a little, returned her back to the second Star.
Through their contract, he felt that Rizzy was in complete bliss inside his Star. It seemed that her stay there was more beneficial than just staying outside. Therefore, she did not resist when Idan called her, only occasionally making it clear through their contract that she wanted to drink his blood.
After cooking dinner and feeding his two companions, Idan packed up and continued on his way.
Two days later, in the midst of a snow-white painting, from a bird’s-eye view, Idan noticed the outlines of a small town in the distance.
“Come down, Ned,” Idan said, patting Ned’s bird head. Following his orders, Ned glided and landed gently.
As soon as Idan and Coco left his back, Ned assumed the form of a dark fox.
“No, Ned, go back to human form,” Idan said, watching Ned become a fox again.
With some reluctance, Ned reappeared as a young man with brown hair and green eyes.
“Here, put these on,” Idan handed Ned the spare winter clothes he and Arabel had bought on the way.
“Great,” Idan said, pleased, appreciating Ned’s new look. “From now on, you will follow me in this guise. Only when we’re alone can you take on your fox form if you wish. I also want you to start talking, Ned. If you keep quiet all the time, it will raise too many questions.”
Ned nodded back, and Idan stared at him.
“O… okay, master, — Ned said, finally speaking under Idan’s gaze.
“Hmm… come on, call me young master in front of people, Ned, and Arabel—young mistress.”
“Yes, young master.”
“Hehe hehe, from now on, I’m the notorious young master!” said Idan a little louder than usual, ready to try on a new role.
