Chapter 1012: Now You Have To Pay For The Price Of Your Stupidity [Part 2]
“Don’t interfere,” Prince Valen said.
“Your Highness, stay where you are,” General Varrak ordered.
“Brother, they are our guests!” shouted Princess Aracelle, who was very worried about Zion’s safety. “Are you telling me you are going to trample on the dignity and honor of House Pavareth?”
“Sister, honor and dignity belong only to the strong,” Prince Valen replied. “The strong don’t need to lower their heads to the weak. If they want to work together with us, they must prove that we are equals.”
“Prince Valen is right,” General Varrak said to Prince Zorren. “Also, Your Highness, why are you so concerned with the person who had tortured you until you begged for him to kill you? Did you suddenly develop admiration and respect for the puny human that trampled on your honor and dignity?”
Prince Zorren narrowed his eyes and was thinking of ways to save his Master when suddenly, Thirteen’s voice reached his ears.
“Prince Zepharion, please stop this childish game,” Thirteen said. “Did you think I came here without some kind of insurance? If you don’t want things to end badly between the two of us, I ask that you act as expected of your position.”
The sneer on Prince Zepharion’s face widened as he once again increased his grip. The sound of something cracking reached everyone’s ears, making Tristan, Douglas, and Hans step forward with the intention to fight.
But at that moment, the overwhelming pressure of Rank 9 Sovereigns descended on their bodies, pinning them in place.
Thirteen, whose right hand was broken, didn’t shout in pain.
Instead, he only frowned as he looked at the smug-faced prince, who seemed to want to humiliate him in front of everyone.
“Let go of my hand… now,” Thirteen said firmly, which only made Prince Zepharion chuckle.
Without saying anything, Prince Zepharion grabbed Zion’s left hand and applied pressure on it.
Seeing both his hands held by the Prince of the Garuda Empire, everyone thought Zion was done for.
They were all paying close attention to his expression, wishing to see his face contorting in pain and begging for forgiveness.
But none of that showed.
Instead, Zion only looked at Prince Zepharion as if he were a dead man.
“I gave you a chance,” Thirteen said. “Since you want to play, I’ll play along with you.”
It was already nighttime when Thirteen and his entourage arrived at the City of Velmusa.
They were all standing at the plaza of the city, surrounded by the Jinns, who were all looking at this scene with amusement.
Suddenly, a sigh escaped the teenage person’s lips, which made them believe that he sighed because of the pain he was feeling.
However, a second later, countless shooting stars descended from the sky, piercing through the bodies of the Rank 9 Sovereigns.
A moment later, Prince Zepharion screamed in agony as a faint beam of light sliced through his arms, severing them cleanly from his body like a hot knife through butter.
“You made me waste one of Athena’s light beams,” Thirteen sighed as he kicked the knee of the prince, forcing him to kneel in front of him. “You shouldn’t have done that. Now you have to pay the price for your stupidity.”
Without another word, Thirteen used his left hand to grab the back of the prince’s head and smashed his face with his knee.
While this was happening, the countless beams of light danced like a deadly apparition, cutting all the buildings around them in half, and seriously injuring all the Rank 9 Sovereigns that had come to the meeting.
Athena’s beam attack was too potent, so he used the second option of making it disperse into countless beams of light from space, reducing their lethality before they reached Pangea.
He was planning to use this against the Azothralls, but he decided that it was also a good opportunity to let the Jinns know that they shouldn’t think of him as a soft persimmon that they could pinch to oblivion.
It was not only the Rank 9 Sovereigns that were affected by Athena’s beam strike. The Rank 6, Rank 7, and Rank 8 Monsters were also not spared.
All of them suffered serious injuries, though none were fatal.

This absolute control was enough proof that if Zion wished for it, he could have killed everyone in the city without any problem.
The sound of Prince Zepharion’s pained cries spread in the plaza as the Jinns watched in horror.
None of them dared to make a move and stop the little devil, who had almost unleashed a one-sided massacre.
With one last kick, Thirteen sent Prince Zepharion flying and watched him crash down on the ground like the bastard that he was.
He then kicked the bloody arms on the ground, and made it land beside the Prince, who thought he could humiliate the guest that they had invited from afar.
“Go and heal him before he really dies of blood loss,” Thirteen said as he used his left hand to brush his hair upward, making Princess Xynalia, who had looked down on him earlier, look at the teenage boy with starry eyes.
The Princess was a fan of bad boys, and in her eyes, Zion was the baddest of bad boys that she had seen in her life.
Perhaps sensing her gaze, Thirteen glanced in her direction, making Princess Laventia, who was standing beside her sister, shudder as her face lost all of its color.
‘Oh no! We are doomed!’ Princess Laventia thought. ‘He’s going to kill my sister!’
Of course, Thirteen wasn’t thinking of such a thing. He was just wondering why Princess Xynalia was looking at him in a way that reminded him of Shana when she wanted to make love to him.
Princess Aracelle, who was the first to snap out of her daze, hurriedly ran in Zion’s direction and gently held his broken right hand.
She then closed her eyes and used a bit of her divine magic to heal his injury.
“You…” Thirteen suddenly saw a silhouette of an angel flash behind Princess Aracelle, helping him piece together his fragmented memories of her.
But that wasn’t really why Thirteen was surprised.
He didn’t know that Princess Aracelle could use Divine Magic.
Instead of being happy for her, the teenage boy’s expression became solemn.
Why?
Because just like Shana, the Princess of House Pavareth was a high-priority target for the Azothralls, whose current location was unknown to everyone.
Prince Valen looked at his sister and was shocked to see something that he never thought possible.
A side of her that he was seeing for the first time.
But soon, the screams of the monsters around him broke him out of his trance.
Scanning his surroundings, the Prince of House Pavareth couldn’t help but gasp because all the powerful monsters that they had brought to intimidate Zion Leventis and his entourage were now all seriously injured.
On that day, the notoriety of Zion Leventis would spread far and wide among the circles of the Jinns.
This would also force the leaders of their respective factions to take this temporary alliance more seri
