System's POV - Chapter 849
Chapter 849: I Am Untouchable! [Part 2]
A few hours later, Aiden laughed like crazy as he watched the Bear he lured toward the camp maul his comrades who were unable to protect themselves.
The leader of their group didn’t hesitate to escape, but he was also affected by the Numbroot, greatly hampering his movements.
“Die!” Aiden roared as he slashed his Leader’s leg, giving him a serious injury that prevented him from escaping.
Overcame by bloodlust and hatred, the young man hacked the leader’s legs repeatedly, severing them from his body.
“Damn you, Thomas!” the leader shouted in anger. “You traitorous bastard! Just kill me if you dare!”
“Oh, you will die alright,” Aiden laughed before glancing at the bear approaching the camp. “And I will enjoy every last second of it!”
The young man hurriedly distanced himself from the camp and watched with great relish as the Bear Overlord feasted on the flesh of his comrades, who had bullied, ridiculed, and shamed him.
Their pained and fearful screams were like music to his ears, making him feel a euphoria that he had never felt before.
When it was the leader’s time to be devoured, Aiden made sure to watch it from start to end.
He could have killed the leader himself, but he didn’t do that.
Aiden wanted to see him suffer and regret what he had done to him. He wanted to make him experience the same helplessness he’d endured under the Highlanders’ enslavement.
When everything was over, the Bear Overlord glanced in Aiden’s direction. However, the bear didn’t attack him.
Instead, he gave the young man a devilish gaze, as if approving his act of betraying his comrades for the sake of vengeance.
The bear then left without a second glance at the camp, which was now drenched in blood.
Aiden pillaged the resources that remained, including weapons, armor, and food supplies he had collected by himself.
After that, he resumed his journey.
This time, he found another group of Wanderers.
But unlike before, he was the strongest in the group.
Of course, he didn’t lord over them like what his former Leader had done.
He had helped them, and together, they embarked on a three-year journey, which led them to the nearest human kingdom, where the Wanderers of Pangea were stationed.
Bidding his goodbye to his comrades with the promise of keeping in touch with them, Aiden cut his hair, shaved his beard, and made himself look presentable.
After that, he completed his mission, which rewarded him handsomely and allowed him to become Grandmaster.
The young man believed that all of his hardships were now behind him and that he could start over.
He could once again become the Young Master of the Summers Family and reclaim the privileges he had lost in the past.
When he returned, his family was overjoyed to see him, which made him remember the warmth of being with them.
The happiness and the relief he felt made him think that the nightmare had already come to pass.
His arrogance and confidence had returned during those last three years in Solterra, and it was further enhanced by his current Rank.
Everything was perfect, and it should have remained perfect until he met Zion Leventis.
“This can’t be happening,” Aiden muttered as the otherworldly stench, more vile than rotten eggs and sewage combined, assaulted his senses, waking him from his unconscious state.
Coughing and finding it hard to breathe, his gaze landed on the teenage boy, who was looking down on him with a calm expression on his face.

“My nightmare has ended,” Aiden said, his voice almost cracking. “It should have already ended! So why?! Tell me why?!”
The young man coughed repeatedly as the fumes assaulted his senses, making him retch and puke on the ground.
“Why?” Aiden cried, his tears falling like rain. “Why is this happening to me? Why?”
“The answer is really simple,” Thirteen replied. “Your nightmare hasn’t ended.”
“No! You’re wrong! It has ended! It has long ended!” Aiden shouted with bloodshot eyes. “I am a winner! I’m the Scion of the Summers Family! My father is the Field Marshal of the Central Government! My Grandfather is a Monarch! I am Aiden Summers! I am an Untouchable!”
“Untouchable?” Thirteen eyed the young man covered from head to foot with Stacy’s and Giga’s stink spray. “You are untouchable?”
“Yes!” Aiden shakily stood up. Even though his senses were being assaulted by the obnoxious smell, he wouldn’t allow himself to be looked down and humiliated a third time. “I. AM. UNTOUCHABLE!”
A sigh escaped Thirteen’s lips. “He must have become high due to your spray, Giga. I told you many times to cut down on the cabbage.”
Giga whined as it defended itself from Zion’s accusation.
“Oh, it’s not cabbage but lettuce?” Thirteen arched an eyebrow.
The Blaze Skunk nodded.
“Well, it doesn’t matter,” Thirteen said. “Give him another serving.”
Giga turned around and raised its tail, ready to make the “Untouchable” understand that he had no power in his Master’s home turf.
Another powerful spray erupted from Giga’s backside, which slammed into Aiden like a raging river, sending the young man flying.
Thirteen then activated the Ring of Apocalypse in his hand, creating a portal that caught the pitiful young man as he fell down on the ground.
“Clean up, okay?” Thirteen patted Giga’s shoulder before teleporting to the Order of the Apocalypse.
Since Aiden was still Shana’s brother, he would not allow the young man to kick the bucket that easily.
Also, he wanted to ask Metatron to extract Aiden’s memory, so Zion would know what he had experienced while he was in Solterra.
That way, the teenage boy would understand how to deal with Aiden, who was only a step away from breaking ties with his family.
‘You’re lucky you’re going to be my future brother-in-law,’ Thirteen thought as he looked at the young man, who was shaking uncontrollably on the floor.
He then glanced at his surroundings and noticed that the Apes, the Monkeys, and the other Monsters, whom he had subjugated, had backed away from the smelly kid, whose mouth was now covered in froth and seemed to be only a step away from going to the afterlife.
“You’ve been bringing a lot of interesting kids here as of late, Zion,” Metatron said as he appeared beside the teenage boy. “For a brief moment, I thought you were turning this organization into a daycare center.”
“Well, all of them will have a role to play for the sake of reaching your goal, Metatron,” Thirteen replied. “This guy here is no different.”
“Mmm.” Metatron glanced at Aiden and took a peek at the young man’s memory. “Well, he does have the qualification to be a chess piece, I guess. What do you plan to do with him?”
“I want his memories to be extracted,” Thirteen replied. “I’ll definitely put it to good use.”
“If you see his past, there’s a chance you will sympathize with him,” Metatron stated.
“He’s going to be my future brother-in-law, so I need to fix his attitude,” Thirteen commented. “As for sympathizing with him, I doubt it.”
Metatron chuckled. “I pity this child. His future was so bright. He just had to cross paths with you.”
“Meeting me is his blessing,” Thirteen said. “Because if not for me, he would have met a tragic fate because of his arrogance. I can at least spare his life, but others won’t be as nice as me.”
“… You call being sprayed by Giga and Stacy nice?”
“Hey, Giga didn’t eat any cabbages as of late, so this kid got lucky.”
Metatron shook his head helplessly before snapping his fingers.
A moment later, an orb of light rose up from Aiden’s head before flying in Zion’s direction.
The teenage boy then reached out to absorb the young man’s memories. It wouldn’t take long before he saw the real reason why he acted the way he did, causing his family to feel heartbroken instead of joyful after their long-awaited reunion.
It took Thirteen an hour to process all of Aiden’s memories.
Now, he understood why the young man acted the way he did, making Thirteen shake his head helplessly.
He then walked toward the young man and gave the side of Aiden’s body a kick, making the latter groan in pain.
“Are you awake now?” Thirteen asked in a teasing tone.
“You… bastard,” Aiden replied hoarsely, glaring at the person who had risen to the top of his hate list.
“Congratulations,” Thirteen said. “Your true nightmare is about to begin.”
After seeing Aiden’s memories, the teenage boy now understood how to break the young man and make him understand that he could easily lose the most important things in his life by refusing to change his ways.
Fortunately, Aiden now had a dependable “future” brother-in-law, who was more than happy to correct his ways before he reached the point of no return.
