Chapter 855: Are You Forgetting That I’m One Of Your Major Sponsors? [Part 2]
“… Why did you choose pink for me?” Char, whose face was already beet red, asked.
If not for the pink helmet hiding her face, everyone would have already seen the embarrassment on her face.
The boys looked at the young lady wearing a pink armored suit.
Since she was wearing armor, the curves of her body were barely visible. However, a single glance was enough to tell everyone that the one behind the armor was a lady.
“Because you’re a girl?” Thirteen blinked. “Isn’t that common sense? Right, guys?”
“Uh… No comment,” Joshua, who was quick on the uptake, chose the safest answer.
“I think it suits you,” Clark decided to compliment her.
“For some reason, knowing you are inside that armor makes me hard,” Vincent stated, making the three guys facepalm at the same time.
A moment later, a whip appeared in Char’s hand.
The young lady didn’t even bat an eye and lashed at Vincent, sending the bastard flying to the other side of the room. He slammed against the wall, creating an indentation.
“One of these days, this guy will die a miserable death from a girl’s anger,” Joshua said in amusement.
“Definitely.” Clark nodded.
‘He already died once because of that,’ Thirteen mused, making sure no one would be able to know what he was thinking.
Vincent, who returned inside the room, marveled. Although Char didn’t hold back in her attack, his armor was still in one piece, and he didn’t feel much pain from the impact of her weapon.
“This is nice,” Vincent stated. “It’s quite unfortunate we can’t let anyone else know about the people behind these suits.”
No one would be able to recognize any of them through their voices either since their armor had a built-in voice changer.
This gave them complete anonymity whenever they were forced to use their secret identities.
“Don’t forget the built-in capes in your armors,” Thirteen said. “You practiced how to swish your capes properly, right? Make sure to not forget our team’s name as well. It’s time to give the Hero Party some competition.”
Joshua, who was still a member of the Hero Party, coughed lightly, but everyone in the room ignored him.
“Can we not call ourselves Apocalypse Rangers?” Clark asked. “The name sounds…”
“What does it sound like, hmmm?”
Metatron suddenly appeared beside Clark, making the latter jump out in fright.
Joshua, Vincent, and Char also immediately straightened up after the God of the Apocalypse materialized out of the blue.
“Are you forgetting that I’m one of your major sponsors?” Metatron asked in a teasing tone.
“N-No, Sir!” Clark stuttered. “I’m sorry. It’s just a slip of the tongue!”
“It’s fine, Red Ranger,” Metatron patted Clark’s shoulder, making the latter shudder uncontrollably. “I’ll pretend I didn’t hear anything, but just this once.”
“T-Thank you, Sir!” Clark replied, doing his best to keep his body from shaking uncontrollably.
Thirteen smirked internally because he knew that Metatron was enjoying scaring the kids.
He had always been quite interested in Wanderers and even hoped secretly that one of them would become part of his organization.
So when Zion appeared, Metatron was elated, giving the teenage boy special treatment.

The God of the Apocalypse even said in passing that he wouldn’t mind if Zion built his own army of Wanderers within their organization, which would allow him to catch up to his comrades in the Order of the Apocalypse.
It was those words that prompted Thirteen to actively look for individuals who would play a crucial role in the strategy that he was building for both Solterra and Pangea.
He had wanted to bring Joshua to his organization from the very start. After all, a Sage held a very important role in the Hero Party.
Clark, Vincent, and Char caught his attention in the tournament and decided to make them part of his inner circle.
Cristopher and Colbert had already met Metatron in the past, and the God acknowledged them as Zion’s left and right-hand men.
The sneaky, sly Colbert, and the straightforward, honest Cristopher were perfect for the role of Thirteen’s henchmen.
One worked in the shadows, while the other worked in the light.
Both worked to ensure that their Master didn’t need to handle everything, shouldering some responsibilities that would decrease Thirteen’s burden.
So far, he was very happy with their growth and development.
Thirteen had also prepared two armors for them.
Cristopher’s armor was white, while Colbert was black.
Zion also had black armor, but it had faint traces of gold at its edges, making it very different from Colbert’s special suit.
They also had their own roles to play and were an indispensable part of teenage boy’s hidden forces.
When Metatron finally left, everyone in the room, with the exception of Thirteen, finally sighed in relief.
“Aside from Clark, the rest of you should spend time with your families,” Thirteen stated. “Let’s all meet in the Sirius Continent at the end of the month. From there, we will all travel towards the Cygni Continent together.”
Everyone nodded in understanding before they left the Order of the Apocalypse to return to Pangea.
Metatron had given them subordinate rings of the Order of the Apocalypse, allowing them to teleport to Thirteens’ personal domain within the organization.
Of course, they weren’t permitted to appear in the Round Table of the Order because only those who were approved by Metatron could join their meetings.
Thirteen stayed for one more week inside the special room before finally heaving a sigh of relief.
All in all, he spent nearly two months in that closed-off space, finishing more than half the Special Suits he intended to give to Sherry and his family members.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t give Erica and Shana these pieces of armor because it would make things complicated in the future.
He already had Joshua as part of his special forces, playing a double agent for the Hero Party and a member of the Apocalypse Rangers.
Adding more members from the Hero Party was counterproductive and would only break their team apart.
Roland and his team still had a role to play, so getting them disbanded was the last thing Thirteen wanted to do.
“I can finally go back,” Thirteen said softly as he did some light stretches. “I just hope nothing troublesome happened while I am away.”
A second later, the teenage boy disappeared from the Order of the Apocalypse and reappeared inside his laboratory.
He made sure to take a bath first before leaving the room.
Truth be told, he felt very tired.
However, before he slept, he would ask his parents if he missed something.
Suddenly, he heard a notification coming from his Communicator.
After seeing the name of the one who sent him the message, a faint smile appeared on the teenage boy’s face.
“I miss you.”
That was Erica’s message, which prompted him to give a reply right away.
“I just finished my work,” Thirteen replied to Erica’s message. “Take Sherry with you and visit me here. I missed the two of you as well.”
“Okay.”
Erica’s reply was quick and simple. However, Thirteen could already imagine the Sorceress hastily calling Sherry and telling her that he was finally out of his laboratory.
The teenage boy decided to see his family first and tell them that they would be having guests who would be staying the night.
“Should I tell your Grandfather you’re done with the thing you’re working on, Zion?” Alessia asked.
“You can tell him tomorrow, Mother,” Thirteen replied. “I need to entertain our VIP Guests first.”
A smile appeared on Alessia’s face because she already knew that the guests that her son was talking about were her daughters-in-law.
Since that was the case, she decided to put aside the matters from her father-in-law until tomorrow and let his son enjoy some quality time with the two ladies who had gained her approval.
