Chapter 859: The Power Of Thirteen’s Patron God
“Then I guess he took a liking to you,” Lawrence smirked. “My granddaughter didn’t choose the wrong fiance.”
The three chatted for a bit longer, and Thirteen was the one to end the discussion.
Now that he had settled the cooperation between the Leventis Family and the Central Government, he could now focus on his own projects, which were only halfway done.
Thirteen glanced at the remaining materials in front of him before heaving a sigh.
‘I guess I need to return to the Order of the Apocalypse tomorrow,’ Thirteen thought. ‘I really don’t want to use it. But, if I want to finish everything, I need to sacrifice a bit.’
The teenage boy then left his laboratory to go to the underground training room, where Sherry, Remi, and Rhia were currently testing the power suits he had made for them.
Sherry wore a yellow power suit, while Remi and Rhia both wore light pink power suits.
“Well, how is it?” Thirteen asked. “Does it feel comfortable enough?”
“Brother!” Rhia ran towards Zion and jumped into his arms.
A booster suddenly erupted from her feet, making her speed up drastically.
Fortunately, Remi was faster and caught her sister before she could land on her brother’s body.
“Rhia, don’t jump to our brother when you’re wearing this suit,” Remi said anxiously. “You might hurt him.”
“Hurt?” Rhia, who didn’t know how powerful she was when wearing the suit, asked in confusion.
It was made from the scales of a Majin King, so it was very hard and durable. Also, it had a built-in AI Function that was directly connected to Athena.
This meant that Thirteen’s supercomputer could completely take control of the power suit, ensuring Rhia’s safety when needed.
“It’s fine,” Thirteen said as he hugged her sister, who had disabled her power suit. “Just be careful, okay? Don’t use it when you’re playing with others.”
“Okay.” Rhia nodded obediently.
Thirteen then glanced at Sherry, and the latter also disabled the power suit that covered her entire body.
“It’s incredible,” Sherry commented. “I never knew something like this was possible.”
Erica, who didn’t receive any power suits from Zion, pouted.
“Unfair. I want one too,” Erica said.
“I will also give you one,” Thirteen answered. “But, it will be different from the power suits that Sherry and my sisters are using.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“I love you, Zion!”
Erica happily hugged the teenage boy, who was still carrying Rhia in his arms.
Although the power suits could only be used in Pangea, it was still something that raised their fighting prowess to the next level.
“Okay, that’s enough for now,” Thirteen said after being hugged for nearly two minutes. “I still have things to do. Remi, take care of Rhia for a while, okay?”
The teenage boy kissed his little sister’s cheek twice before letting her down on the floor to stand on her own two feet.
“Sherry, Erica. Come with me to my laboratory,” Thirteen stated.

He finally decided to bring Sherry to the Order of the Apocalypse because she would become part of the Apoc Rangers.
Since she was already engaged to him, he wanted to let her know more about his secrets, allowing her to play more roles in the future, which only she would be able to pull off.

Inside the Order of the Apocalypse…
“Oh, so this is the friend you’re talking about, Erica,” Paimon said as she eyed the young lady, who was currently holding onto Zion’s arms with an anxious look on her face.
“Master, please don’t scare her,” Erica said. “She’s also going to be one of Zion’s future wives.”
“Well, isn’t she lucky?” Paimon smirked. “Her future husband is very capable.”
If it was only Paimon staring at her, Sherry might have been able to keep her calm.
Unfortunately, Camazotz, Kamrusepa, and Metatron were also inside Thirteen’s personal Domain.
She already knew Zion had some sort of close relationship with some Majin Princes and Princesses.
She was there when Camazotz helped Thirteen in the battle against the Ancient Eight-Headed Serpent.
However, the one who scared her the most was not the Majins but Metatron.
The God of Apocalypse might look friendly, but Sherry couldn’t help but feel anxious under his gaze.
“So this is the Yellow Ranger I still haven’t seen,” Metatron chuckled. “Now, the Apoc Rangers are complete. Don’t worry, Sherry. I am one of Zion’s sponsors. In fact, I have a gift for you.”
The God of the Apocalypse handed Sherry a ring similar to the ones that Erica, Clark, Vincent, Joshua, and Char possessed.
This allowed the individuals that gained Thirteen’s and Metatron’s recognition to come and go to Zion’s Domain inside the Order of the Apocalypse.
Metatron permitted Thirteen to form his own private force, which included Monsters and Wanderers alike.
He also provided the teenage boy a private domain, so his forces wouldn’t be seen by the other members of the organization.
“T-Thank you,” Sherry replied, but she didn’t take the ring.
Zion took the initiative to pick it up, understanding that the young lady was too scared to take it from Metatron’s hand.
“Just relax,” Thirteen said before putting the ring on Sherry’s finger. “If your life is ever in any danger in Solterra or Pangea, don’t hesitate to teleport here inside the Order and wait for me to pick you up.
“Treat this ring as a life-saving artifact. Also, it has an enchantment that will prevent you from divulging anything you see and hear in this place.”
Sherry nodded in understanding. Even if Thirteen didn’t tell her anything, she had no intention of divulging this secret to anyone.
“Now that’s done, I’ll need both of your help,” Thirteen stated. “Come with me to my workshop.”
He then led the two young ladies to his workshop because he truly needed their help with something very important.
Erica’s and Sherry’s eyes widened in shock when they saw what Zion was working on.
“Is this something a single person can really do by himself?” Erica muttered. “Zion, I don’t think we can help you with any of this.”
“Zion, is this the work you need our help with?” Sherry, who was also looking at the unfinished six-meter-tall monster robots, asked in disbelief.
Thirteen nodded. “Both of you don’t need to do anything too complicated.”
The teenage boy then placed several bottles of rejuvenation potions on the table before telling the two young ladies what they needed to do.
“All you need to do is make me drink one of these potions every two hours,” Thirteen said. “I’ll probably be unconscious at that time, but just keep on feeding me these potions. Can the two of you do that?”
“You’re going to do something crazy again, right?” Erica asked with worry.
“Right.” Thirteen nodded. “I don’t have enough time on my hands. I need to finish these things before we leave for the Cygni Continent. Don’t worry. A week here is only a day in Pangea. I’m guessing it’ll take me anywhere between seven to twelve days to regain consciousness. But my life will not be in danger… probably.”
“”Probably?!”” the two girls glared at him at the same time.
The teenage boy coughed lightly before pointing at the refrigerator to change the subject.
“There is plenty of food in the refrigerator, and the Master Bedroom is on that door over there,” Thirteen said. “If there’s anything you need, just ask Metatron for help. Do both of you understand?”
Erica and Sherry reluctantly nodded because they knew that even if they didn’t agree, Zion would still push himself to finish this workload on his own.
Since they couldn’t stop him, they might as well help him and ensure he would be well taken care of during his unconscious state.
“Good, then let’s do this,” Thirteen took a deep breath and faced the workload he needed to finish as soon as possible.
The teenage boy then pressed his hands together and said a single word.
“Skip.”
Thirteen had chosen the God of Skipping as his Patron God because he believed he would benefit more from his blessings.
And with that power, he could practically skip almost anything. However, this power didn’t come without a price. It puts a great strain on a person’s body.
It allowed Zion to skip anything, including the building process of the Mechas he had planned to build.
A few moments after using the skill, Thirteen collapsed as if he were a puppet whose strings had been cut.
He was now suffering from the “time” he had skipped, which had caught up to him after the Mechas’ construction was complete.
Erica, who had been expecting something like this, hurriedly catched the teenage boy’s body before he could fall on the floor.
Sherry, on the other hand, hurriedly fed one of the rejuvenation potions to him because her lover’s face was as pale as a sheet of paper.
Even his lips had turned white, making both girls worry about his current condition.
Because their focus was on their lover, they didn’t notice the five Mythical Creatures, whose eyes were glowing faintly with the power of science and technology.
“Let’s take him to the bedroom,” Erica said.
Sherry nodded and helped carry the unconscious teenage boy.
Metatron, who was paying close attention to Thirteen’s Domain, sighed helplessly.
“I don’t know if I should praise you or ridicule you for doing something reckless,” Metatron muttered. “Is this the determination that one needs to fight against Gods?”
The God of the Apocalypse already held Thirteen in high regard. However, the more he interacted with the boy, the more he realized that he had still underestimated him.
After making sure that his life wasn’t in any danger, the God of the Apocalypse left Zion’s Domain and called the members of his organization.
When everyone had gathered inside the Council Room where they held their regular meetings, the Gods of the Apocalypse gave his members a mission.
“I’ll give you all two years to prepare,” Metatron declared. “After two years, we will go with the first phase of Project Apocalypse.”
The faces of the Majin Princes and Princesses turned solemn, but none of them opposed Metatron’s decision.
Although they felt that it was still too early to follow through with their plan, they also knew that since their God had already made his decision, none of them would be able to change his mind.
