System's POV - Chapter 892
Chapter 892: Regaining What Was Lost
I was born in a family that ruled over an entire world.
My father was well known not only in Hestia but also in the entire Celestial Realm.
One could say that I was truly blessed.
A winner in life, and I also believe it’s true.
Perhaps, the only thing one could complain about my father was the fact that he had over forty-five wives.
Yes.
Over forty-five wives.
I believed this was a very important matter, so I decided to mention it twice to make sure people understood how significant this number was.
But despite having many mothers, I love having many brothers and sisters as well.
Some were older than me, while some were younger.
I love all of them, and I get along with them just fine.
Perhaps my favorite among them was my two little sisters, Maple and Cinnamon.
They were the two little gluttons of our family, and their favorite pastime was to run away from home.
But this running away from home was very different from the running away many people were familiar with.
When Maple and Cinnamon ran away from home, they would literally jump through time and space, going to different worlds in the Multiverse.
Sometimes, I do pity their mother, who was also technically one of my mothers.
And her name was Chiffon.
The Half-Dwarf Half-Demon of our big family, who was born with the Sin of Gluttony.
Six years ago, I decided to run after my two sisters before they were about to jump into another world.
I was only ten years old at that time, but I was also very worried that they might face danger in one of their expeditions.
But an accident happened.
I entered the portal they created without thinking of the consequences.
Unlike Maple and Cinnamon, who could freely travel through time and space, I wasn’t the least bit compatible with traveling across worlds.
The moment I entered the portal, I was caught in a dimensional storm and was knocked unconscious.
When I woke up, I found myself in a barren world.
There was blood streaming down my head, and it seemed that I had suffered an injury when I fell into that particular world.
At first, I didn’t realize it due to the pain. But when I finally managed to calm myself, I realized that the world I was in was devoid of all colors.
Everything was in the shades of black and white.
And due to my injury and my age, I hadn’t been able to move away from my spot.
Fortunately, my two sisters quickly realized that something bad had happened, so they searched for me on that barren planet.

Both of them hurriedly brought me back to Elysium, where I was healed by the power of my father.
Both of them had been very apologetic and stayed with me until my treatment ended.
Everything should have been fine.
The injury had healed. However, I have lost the ability to see colors.
Despite my father’s deity-like powers, he wasn’t able to restore my vision.
He also asked the Gods for help, but none of them managed to return me to normal.
It was then that our Godmother, Mama Ella, came to talk to me.
“Don’t be afraid, Stella. One day, the colors you have lost will return in your life.”
“Will it really return, Godmother?”
“Yes. But to do so, you must search for that someone who would return the color to your world.”
“Where can I find them, Godmother?”
“Come with me.”
My Godmother brought me to the bridge of Asgard, which was also called the Bifrost.
It was a bridge that could travel anywhere in the multiverse, just like Maple and Cinnamon.
“Your name, Stella, means star,” Ella said. “So the person you are looking for belongs to one of those stars in the sky. Here, use this bow and arrow. This bow is called the Bow of Destiny. Go and shoot at any of those stars in the sky.
“Wherever this arrow lands, that is the place where you will find the person you need to look for.”
“How do I know they are the person I am looking for, Godmother?” Stella asked.
“You will know because they will be the only one who would have color in your vision,” Ella replied.
Following her instructions, I released the string of the bow and let my arrow fly through time and space.
The moment the arrow landed on a world, my Godmother used the Bifrost Bridge to travel there in an instant.
Pangea.
That was the world where my arrow had landed.
My Godmother closed her eyes in order to better understand what kind of world I was in.
She then told me all about Pangea and the danger that it was currently facing.
Suddenly, a demihuman bunny appeared in front of us, asking what we were doing in their world.
My Godmother told him about my circumstances, but Mr. Bunny looked very hesitant to allow someone like us to stay in their world.
But at that exact moment, four beams of light descended from the heavens.
My Father, my Grandpa, and my twin sisters, Maple and Cinnamon, appeared.
When Mr. Bunny saw my Father and Grandpa, he immediately became more polite and no longer said that we should leave Pangea.
However, he explained that since I was going to live there for a time to look for the person that I was looking for, I would need to follow the rules of the world.
And thus, I was given a blessing or perhaps another curse that made me a Wanderer.
The name was quite fitting because I indeed needed to wander to find the person I was looking for.
Knowing the dangers that I was going to face, my father trained me to become the best archer that I could be.
My mother, who was worried about my safety, bestowed upon me Aethon.
He was the little bird that originally belonged to my father but was given to my mother to serve as her protector.
Now, Aethon became my Protector because my parents were worried about me.
Finally, on my thirteenth birthday, I experienced my First Wandering.
I was sent to a world called Solterra, where I would begin my first adventure.
Mr. Bunny had made an exception and allowed me to wield the Bow of Destiny, as well as have Aethon accompany me in my journey.
The place where I was sent was called Fractured Heaven.
And in that place, I saw a teenage boy who possessed the colors that I was looking for.
“Stella, are you still asleep?”
I opened my eyes and saw my friend, Siri, looking at me with a smug look on her pretty face.
“Wake up, sleepy head,” Siri said. “We’re almost at our destination.”
I slowly propped myself up from Aethon’s back and looked at the distant land over the horizon.
“Is that the Cygni Continent?” I asked.
“Yes,” Siri replied. “This time, we will show the fruits of our training. I’ll make Zion understand who is the strongest Wanderer of this generation.”
“… You still haven’t gotten over what happened in the Temple of Courage?” I smiled faintly at my friend, who had been keeping a grudge against Zion since that incident years ago.
“That one doesn’t count.” Siri insisted. “He cheated!”
I shook my head helplessly before shifting my attention back to the continent where the person I was looking for was currently at.
‘According to that Goddess, I will only regain the colors that I have lost if I take Zion’s colors as my own,’ I thought.
I still didn’t understand what it meant to take the colors of others, but for some reason, I was feeling a little anxious about it.
The Goddess who talked to me didn’t tell me who she was.
She only told me I would know what to do when the right moment comes.

Somewhere in the Celestial Realm…
“They’ve come,” Laplace Demon said.
“Yes,” The One replied.
“Will we really not do anything?”
“Let’s just observe for now. Her background isn’t simple.”
Laplace Demon nodded in understanding because he had personally seen Stella’s father and grandfather.
The two of them were strong enough to make a mess of both Pangea and Solterra, so Laplace Demon and The One were forced to compromise.
With the promise that Stella wouldn’t do anything to harm both worlds, they allowed her to become a Wanderer and find the cure to her condition.
Neither being was aware that Stella had already found a clue to heal her illness.
Unfortunately, by the time they realized it, things had already come to pass, and they could no longer do anything about it.
