Chapter 896: I Want My World To Become Colorful Again
While the others left the table to help themselves with the food in the buffet area, Thirteen and Stella stayed to watch over the items left behind by their group.
“It’s been a while since we last saw each other,” Thirteen said. “What were you up to these past two years?”
“Training,” Stella replied. “How about you?”
“Pretty much the same,” Thirteen answered. “Is there something wrong with my face? You’ve been staring at me since earlier.”
“I’m sorry. I just find you fascinating right now,” Stella answered.
It had been a while since she last saw color, so looking at Zion made her remember things she had lost from that unfortunate accident a few years ago.
“You’re right. I am indeed fascinating,” Thirteen blinked once, then twice, before shifting his gaze to the twins, who were asking the server to make them some special crepe. “I hope your sisters don’t traumatize the owner later.”
“… They won’t,” Stella replied.
“There was a pause in your reply.”
“…”
Wanting to change the topic, Stella asked Zion about his next plans for the war.
As someone who had temporarily become part of Solterra and Pangea, Stella understood the danger the world was facing.
Although this level of danger couldn’t be compared to what his father had faced several years ago, to the citizens of this world, it was already a genocide-level event.
“First, I’ll start by raiding the nearby monster dens and nests to give everyone some breathing space,” Thirteen replied. “After that, I’ll make some final preparations before the big boys join the war.”
“So are you confident that you will win, Mr. Supreme Commander of the Alliance?” Stella inquired.
“I’m fifty-five percent confident we can win this war,” Zion answered.
Stella smiled faintly before drinking the glass of water beside her. She had asked someone to do a full investigation about Zion and his background, and the report she received had some interesting tidbits.
According to the listed information, the teenage boy didn’t act any differently from those of his age.
That only changed after he was involved in an accident when he was five years old.
He had become smarter and did things no ordinary five-year-old could do after he was released from the hospital.
That said, Stella suspected that Zion might be a transmigrator or a reincarnator.
The existence of this phenomenon wasn’t a secret to her since her Godmothers and Godfathers were literal Gods.
Her own father was a reincarnator, which led her to believe that Zion was either a reincarnator or a transmigrator who had knowledge about his previous lifetime.
The only thing that bothered her a bit was that Zion didn’t feel human either.
She couldn’t put her finger on it, but the way the teenager acted was very different from what she perceived as human.
“How about you?” Thirteen asked. “What are your plans? Are you going to take a casual stroll on the Cygni Continent with Siri?”
Thirteen already knew that Stella’s and Siri’s backgrounds weren’t simple.
He had even asked Athena to investigate them and learned a few shocking things about Siri.
As for Stella, there was no information about her.
Sure, Athena managed to find her temporary quarters, but they were just hotels where she could come and go as she pleased.

The young lady didn’t have any permanent residence, and there was no record of her in the military files.
In layman’s terms, Stella was someone who didn’t exist in the world.
She had no birth certificate, which he should’ve been able to access in the data banks of the Central Government.
After careful consideration, there was only one thing that Thirteen could think of.
Stella didn’t belong to Pangea.
While there was a possibility that she belonged to Solterra, Thirteen didn’t believe this to be true.
The inhabitants of that world couldn’t cross to Pangea without getting the permission of Laplace Demon and The One.
He met Maple and Cinnamon first in the Aldebaran Continent, and just like Stella, he couldn’t find any information about the two gluttons.
This led him to believe that the three of them came from another world.
The multiverse had countless worlds with life in them, and Thirteen had been on those worlds.
Although Stella’s family didn’t belong to the world of Pangea and Solterra, this wasn’t really a big deal to Thirteen.
As long as they didn’t get in his way, they could live alongside each other in harmony.
The two smiled at each other, not knowing that both of them knew a fraction of each other’s secrets.
“Have you found a way to remove the restrictions on your body?” Stella inquired.
This was also a subject she was very curious about.
After becoming a Wanderer, she was granted the ability to learn skills, as well as gain items and Avatars through killing Jinns and Majins.
This was a very different power system compared to the world of Hestia, where Stella came from.
“No,” Thirteen answered.
“Say, if I were to help you break those shackles, what can you do for me in return?” Stella asked.
Thirteen narrowed his eyes. The young lady in front of him sounded very confident.
It was as if she truly knew of a way to let him break free of the shackles that bound him and reclaim his powers as the System of Cannon Fodders.
“What do you want in return?” Thirteen wasn’t opposed to the idea of breaking free from his restrictions. However, he understood that if that indeed happened, Laplace Demon and The One might put him under house arrest.
He simply asked because he was curious about what price he needed to pay to have Stella help him get what he wanted.
“I want my world to become colorful again,” Stella answered without hesitation.
“Hah?” Thirteen blinked once, then twice, before looking at Stella in confusion. “You want your world to be colorful again? Are you talking about finding a new hobby or passion?”
“No.” Stella shook his head. “I literally can’t see any colors aside from black and white. Well, I can also see shades of gray, but that’s it.”
“… Have you gone to a doctor?” Thirteen inquired.
“Yes,” Stella replied.
“Clerics?”
“Yes.”
“High Priestesses?”
“Yes.”
The teenage boy pondered a bit before glancing at their people, who were about to return to their table, carrying plates of food.
“Let’s talk more about your problem later,” Thirteen stated. “Maybe I can ask the Field Marshal to let me borrow a medical facility, so I can conduct tests on your eyes.”
Stella smiled faintly but didn’t oppose the teenage boy’s suggestion.
Although she already knew the result of these tests, she decided to just follow the flow for now.
After all, she wouldn’t lose anything by trying, right?
