“Father!” Kai, alongside the others, came to Londyn’s side, and gave his father a questioning look.

Londyn shook his head gently. “We can’t deal with these monsters alone. Take your mother and run away. If you stay and there’s a fight, none of us will be able to leave here alive. So, you must leave, now. I will try my best to buy you time, and hopefully, reinforcements will arrive sooner than expected. ”

Kai was shocked when he heard his father’s words. This dread’s level was higher than his father’s? He suddenly felt a chill in his heart as if it was drenched in cold water. He knew they were now in a bad situation.

Since the dreads were not leaving, he was afraid it was going to lead to a fight.

Kai took a half step backward and whispered to his wife. “Kiara, take my mother, along with our teachers, and run. I will stay with my father to see if I can help.”

Oberon was also shocked when he heard it. With his power level, he might be able to fight against a gold-level dread, but he couldn’t even fight against anything above that.

But when things came to this, Oberon was not the one to cower out. As soon as Kai finished speaking, also said to Shannon. “Shan, you protect Kiara and Kai’s mother. Now leave. The three of us can try to hold on until the reinforcements arrive, but we can’t do that with you here.”

Since I’m a dual mage, we can use magic combination to fight. All of you only need to activate the power of your essence crystals, and I will control everything from there. Is that okay?”

The others nodded in acknowledgement. Among the five of them, Oberon had the highest level of power base.

So it was reasonable to focus on him, so everyone did not object. Since their opponents were platinum-level dreads, they couldn’t compare in terms of individual strength.

Perhaps the combination of their power could bring a glimmer of hope.

So Myrgath nodded in understanding, and said. “Okay, then, they are yours, Secondborn. But be careful, human beings are so cunning. Please, be precise and end them quickly.”

“No need to worry. These human beings have no defence against me. Although I haven’t observed them yet, there’s no need to worry. It’s time to make this territory ours.”

Myrgath laughed, let out a bullish roar, and charged after the fleeing humans. Then Daghr walked slowly towards the crowd with a calm expression on his face.

As for the plan of the two dreads, everyone heard it clearly. But due to their current situation, they knew there was nothing they could do about it.

There was no way they could split themselves so they could cover many grounds. They could only hope for a miracle that would let the clansmen escape to safety.

There were not many other clansmen with essence power base in the tribe since they were mainly based on hunting. They didn’t need many advanced warriors to guard their hunts.

They knew that if there was no war, the dreads wouldn’t attack them. It was all in the agreement.

Enough reasons why Myrgath, was not too arrogant after he first entered the tribe’s territory. Originally, the two dreads planned to transform into a human form and come to the Ironwood tribe to take a look.

If there was nothing to gain, they would then leave quietly. Because after the high-level dreads were transformed into humans, it was difficult to distinguish whether they were humans or dreads.
