The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1026
Chapter 1026: Sky Battle (I) Chapter 1026: Sky Battle (I) The Sky Lord coughed up mouthfuls of blood, feeling excruciating pain coursing through his body.
Despite the damage, he was still alive, but confusion clouded his eyes as he couldn’t understand why he hadn’t been killed.
Cain stood amidst the chaos on the sinking warship, his eyes cold and calculating, keeping a piece of his focus on everything happening around him.
He had plunged Sky Breaker through the back of the Sky Lord, intentionally avoiding vital organs.
The Sky Lord’s pain and fury were evident as he looked at the young man, but he couldn’t move, and every breath filled his lungs with blood.
As the ship groaned and tilted, Cain’s eyes glowed with a predatory light, the power of gluttony spreading through his entire existence.
He activated the Eye of Gluttony, his third eye emitting a dark, hungry aura.
The gray flames of the Soul Devouring Legendary Cultivation Technique began to coil around his body, flowing through Sky Breaker and spreading into the Sky Lord’s body from the inside.
The Sky Lord’s eyes widened in terror as the gray flames spread through every inch of his flesh and blood, reaching his energy pool.
He attempted to fight back but was too weak and couldn’t pull the massive bastard sword from his chest.
‘I need to act fast,’ Cain thought, his eyes cold and brutal as he felt the man’s life fading and saw the other Sky Lords flying toward them full of killing intent.
The normal use of the gray flames through the Soul Devourer Legendary Cultivation Technique involved a long and steady devouring process, but there was no time for that on a battlefield.
Cain spread the flames across the man’s body and energy pool as quickly as possible, draining all the vitality and Spirit Force he could take.
“Ahhhhhhh!” A hollow scream emerged from the man as blood choked him.
Usually, the process was excruciating, but being used so hastily, it felt like someone was ripping his body to pieces while he was still alive.
It was war, and there was no mercy in Cain’s eyes, only coldness as he felt the gray flames carrying a massive amount of Spirit Force flowing into his brain and covering his energy pool.
It was a fifth of what he could take if he did the process the right way, but it was enough for the battlefield.
Cain only lamented that the golden force carrying the man’s Innate Abilities shattered.
He didn’t have time to be careful, so he was once again forced to rely on luck to steal abilities from others.
As the Sky Lord’s life faded from his eyes, Cain yanked Sky Breaker free, letting the man collapse onto the deck.
He turned his attention to the other five Sky Lords who were approaching, their faces twisted with anger and determination.
Cain’s energy surged, and he waved Sky Breaker, unleashing an air cannon that ensured the destruction of the warship and its people before rising to the sky to face his opponents.
He activated Air Speed, his movements becoming a blur as he dodged their initial attacks.
Bolts of lightning, fire, and dark energy crackled through the air, but Cain weaved through them easily, though it hindered his movement long enough for a Sky Lord Warrior to approach him.
The Lynch Kingdom’s Sky Lord was covered in dark armor made of strange alloys that seemed to twist the space around his figure.
His crystallized energy pool exploded as he charged at Cain with a massive war hammer made of the same alloys as his armor, and the space around it twisted even more ferociously.
The power behind that black hammer was immense, but Cain met the attack head-on.
He swung Sky Breaker with all his might, generating the perfect angle before allowing the weapon to regain its normal weight, making the blade crash against the war hammer.
“BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!” The force of the impact sent shockwaves through the air, and dark sparks and arcs flooded in all directions, drawing the attention of the rest of the Sky Masters and Sky Lords fighting in the sky.
It was clear that the duo’s power was beyond normal Level 20 life forms, even those with crystallized energy pools.

Cain’s eyes narrowed as he was surprised by the physical power behind the hammer.
He felt it was related to the strange space-twisting energy coating the weapon, but there was no time to focus on it as the duo was blasted away in different directions.
However, their separation did not last long as they immediately flashed back into the fray, Cain and the Lynch Kingdom’s Sky Lord waving their weapons at each other.
A small smile appeared on the hammer-wielding Sky Lord’s face as he was sure he would be able to detain Cain long enough for the others to arrive, but that was a mistake.
Just as the hammer and weapons were about to clash, Cain’s Weight Manipulation activated, enhancing the weight of Sky Breaker to the point that just holding it was nearly impossible.
It took all of Cain’s strength to keep it steady, and as soon as it made contact with the hammer, a massive burst of power was unleashed.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!” An even more tremendous explosion took place, and shock appeared in the hammer-wielding Sky Lord’s eyes as the power behind the bastard sword was so immense that it sent him flying away, his internal organs trembling and blood leaking out of his mouth.
Cain wanted to follow so he could deliver the final blow, but enhancing the weight of Sky Breaker so much dislocated his left arm, and the recoil paralyzed his body.
By the time Cain gained full use of his body, the hammer-wielding Sky Lord was already far away, but that did not mean he was out of attack range.
Before the warrior could regain control over his body, Cain summoned a shadow whip with Shadow Forge, lashing it around the Sky Lord’s leg and slamming him toward another Lynch Kingdom warship.
