Chapter 1030: Seven vs one Chapter 1030: Seven vs one Cain’s eyes widened with awe and admiration as he saw how Archduke Halbinder managed to not only face three Legends from the Lynch Kingdom simultaneously but also destroy the body of one.

It was clear from the man’s courage and battle will that he did not reach his position out of luck, but through immense hard work and bloodshed.

Every single death among the Legends of the Lynch Kingdom was a massive victory for the Trinity Kingdom, but Cain knew they couldn’t be too happy.

Up until a few minutes ago, Archduke Halbinder had been on the brink of collapse facing the trio, forcing himself to the utmost limit, yet now he was able to overpower them.

That power-up was the result of the potion the Archduke took and something that could raise your strength so much so quickly was bound to have severe backlash.

Once Archduke Halbinder was no longer able to fight, the balance of power in the Legendary battlefield would shift to the Lynch Kingdom.

‘We need to speed up,’ Cain knew that the battle was reaching its zenith.

Soon the forces of the Trinity Kingdom would have to pull back unless they wanted to endure massive casualties.  The next part of the war would be on Bravos’s shore.

At that point, millions of warriors from the Lynch Kingdom would descend from the ships but the Trinity Kingdom would be able to use their formations to level the battlefield.

Before the war reached the shore, Cain needed to absorb as much energy as possible and continue destroying warships.

He had already obtained very good armor and an excellent weapon, but there were bound to be more treasures that could help him grow.

However, he would only gain access to them if he performed well.

Coldness and devouring intent emerged in Cain’s eyes as he glanced at the seven Sky Lords marching after him.

These were all new, as he had already killed the earth wielder and halberd master from before, devouring nearly forty percent of each’s Spirit Force, absorbing a new Innate Ability, and taking down a third warship in the process.

These seven were all Level 20 Sky Lords with crystallized energy pools, and their overall power was much higher than the last group that came after him.

The forces of the Lynch Kingdom had noticed Cain’s power and uniqueness, realizing that normal warriors would only become food for him, so they sent their best.

That made things harder for Cain, but it helped the Trinity Kingdom by diminishing the pressure the rest of the Sky Masters and Sky Lords were facing.

Cain continued moving across the battlefield at a shocking speed, occasionally activating Shadow Body before reappearing in a different location.

It seemed as if he were running, but the truth was that he wanted to test the speed of the seven and their perception before engaging them in battle.

After ten minutes of playing hide and seek, Cain stopped running and turned around amidst the chaos of the battlefield, his eyes fixed on the seven Sky Lords advancing toward him.

Each of them exuded a terrifying aura, their crystallized energy pools shimmering with deadly intent.

As the seven Sky Lords converged on him, Cain activated Air Speed with all his power, his body becoming a blur as he darted toward the first Sky Lord.

This opponent, a lightning-wielding warrior, raised his hands and fired spears covered in electricity.

Cain weaved through the spears with incredible agility, feeling the heat of the electricity grazing his skin.

But he couldn’t afford to focus on just one opponent.

A Sky Lord fire mage hurled a massive fireball at Cain, while an earth shaman summoned massive boulders to crush him.

The other four Sky Lords, each with their unique powers, closed in, creating a deadly pincer movement.

Cain’s mind raced as he analyzed their tactics.

He summoned a shadow whip with Shadow Forge, lashing it out to entangle the legs of the lightning warrior.

With a swift motion, he swung Sky Breaker at the fireball, allowing the sword to regain its normal weight.

The blade crashed through the fireball, dispersing the flames with a thunderous explosion and generating a massive air cannon that sent the Sky Lord fire mage flying down into the water.

“BOOOOMMMM!” Cain continued his momentum, using Air Speed to dart away from the falling boulders.

He formed a shadow shield to block a torrent of dark energy from another Sky Lord.

The impact of the energy sent tremors through his body, but he gritted his teeth and pushed through the pain.

The six Sky Lords surrounded him, their attacks relentless.

Cain’s movements became a blur as he dodged and parried, using Shadow Forge to create shields along with Energy Barrier to fend off their coordinated assaults.

Bolts of lightning, shards of ice, and torrents of wind battered him from all sides.

A shard of ice pierced Cain’s shoulder, and dark energy seared his side, leaving a gory wound.

Blood flowed freely, but Cain’s resolve only grew stronger as he tightened the grip his left hand had over a shadow whip.

During the entire barrage, Cain had not let go of the shadow whip that had tangled around the leg of the lightning warrior and yanked this one toward him.

The strength of Cain was too much for the warrior and he could not resist, being pulled toward the young man who then grabbed his head with so much strength that it immediately fractured his skull.

Taking advantage of the lightning warrior shock due to the brain trauma, Cain unleashed a burst of gray flames from the Soul Devourer’s technique, enveloping the Sky Lord in a torrent of devouring energy before continuing to fly away.

“Ahhhh!” The lightning warrior’s screams echoed across the battlefield as his Spirit Force flowed into Cain.  Cain failed to obtain the Innate Ability of the man, but a wide smile appeared on his face as he saw how much energy he managed to devour.

However, his smile did not last long as the rest of the Sky Lords were closing in, all of them exuding murderous killing intent.
