The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1034
Chapter 1034: Leaving the battlefield Chapter 1034: Leaving the battlefield “BOOOOMMMMM!” A new explosion erupted among the warships of the Lynch Kingdom, and everyone saw that the responsible party was none other than the young man who had disappeared into the Sea of Wonders along with the Legendary demonic dragonborn.
Cain struck the warship from the side, using all the energy he could muster and the power of Sky Breaker to break through the energy field.
He then activated Ripper Touch, targeting the hull and ensuring its collapse.
Not even a second later, Cain pushed Air Speed to its limit, grabbing Duke Rellin and triggering Shadow Body to flash back to Bravos as fast as he could, hiding his presence from everybody.
There was no way he would remain on the battlefield.
A Sky Lord who could kill a Legend was simply too shocking, and Cain was sure the Lynch Kingdom would try to kill him if given the chance.
He was too wounded and could barely remain in the sky.
If another Legend were to attack him, there was no chance he could survive, so he left immediately.
Technically, flying away from the battlefield could be considered a great crime since one could not simply leave the battlefield whenever they wanted, but given Cain’s exceptional performance, no one would dare to reprimand him.
Lord Commander Sarukan only smiled as he saw the young man flying away.
Cain had not only taken on nearly a dozen Sky Lords alone, but he had also shattered five warships and, it seemed, managed to kill a Legend.
If that was not enough to earn the right to leave the battlefield, then what would it take?
As for Duke Rellin, the man was technically Cain’s mage guard, but in reality, the young man moved so fast and entered such dangerous battlegrounds that there was no way he could intervene.
Instead, he just fired spells from a safe distance, hindering the enemy forces and keeping himself safe.
There was no problem with that since he did not need to fill any quota and the only one he needed to answer to was Cain.
“Continue fighting!
Do you wish to be surpassed by someone who reached Trinity Island less than a year ago?!” Lord Commander Sarukan shouted with a powerful and domineering voice before turning toward Grand Lich Morkon.
“Let’s kill the invader scum!” The war cry from Lord Commander Sarukan and the sight of the destroyed ship, coupled with the feeling that they had the advantage, energized the forces of the Trinity Kingdom.
They marched forward with overwhelming killing intent.
Cain no longer cared about the battlefield.
He had done more than enough to secure a great reward, and he desperately needed to heal.
After reaching Bravos, he let go of Duke Rellin, barely nodding to the man, and flying into his residence.
Immediately once he was there, Cain focused on the space ring he had obtained from the Legendary demonic dragonborn, searching for anything with a strong healing aura before finally gazing upon a strange root.
It was brimming with vitality, and Cain took it out, channeling the power of the Eye of Gluttony.
He did not need to focus on his energy pool, only his body, so there was no need to summon the powers of the Soul Devourer Legendary Cultivation Technique.
Slowly, the devouring force emerged from Cain’s palms and began to swallow the vitality contained inside the red root.
Immediately, a relaxed expression appeared on Cain’s face as he felt the overwhelming vitality course through his flesh and blood, closing his wounds and regenerating lost tissues.
‘Good, this is a very potent treasure.
I will not need to use the power in the gray flames to heal my body, allowing me to focus all of it on my cultivation,’ Cain thought with a wide smile on his face.
He knew how important it was to advance his cultivation since the Legends of the Lynch Kingdom would be gunning for him from the start during the next battle.

After two hours, Cain felt his injuries had finally completely healed, and as he spread his perception beyond his residence, he noticed how Bravos was once more packed with soldiers.
It seemed that the naval battle was over, and by the mood of the people, things had not gone poorly.
Cain thought for a few seconds before leaving his residence and rising to the sky.
Immediately all the Sky Masters and Sky Lords present turned toward him, their eyes full of awe and admiration at the incredible feat he had performed.
Cain only nodded to the people and did not focus too much before gazing at the port.
Of the dozens of ships that had emerged, less than five made it back; the rest and their crews were now lost in the Sea of Wonders.
After that, Cain’s eyes turned to the distance and saw the navy of the Lynch Kingdom less than three hours away from the shore.
There were 39 warships left, and it seemed the Trinity Kingdom had failed to achieve the 70% destruction that Lord Commander Sarukan originally sought.
However, the losses that the Trinity Kingdom inflicted on the Lynch Kingdom’s Sky Masters, Sky Lords, and Legends more than made up for the lack of destroyed warships.
Of course, the Trinity Kingdom also suffered losses in those ranks, but they were fewer.
Cain analyzed the forces of the Lynch Kingdom and knew that while they were close, they would not march for a few days.
Another naval battle was pointless since the Lynch Kingdom’s ships were too close, and neither side would engage in another fight soon. All parties were badly wounded.
The Trinity Kingdom’s forces had to take desperate measures to enhance their power to make up for the numerical disadvantage, and the Lynch Kingdom suffered severe casualties, with wounds adding to those sustained during the voyage.
Both sides needed to rest, recover their energy, and heal their wounds before the next phase of the war could continue.
This respite would take a few days, which Cain would definitely use to his advantage.
