Chapter 1037: Star Brain Chapter 1037: Star Brain Cain knew that time was running short and there were a lot of things he wanted to accomplish before the next battle with the Lynch Kingdom arose.

So, as soon as he finished with Lamerto, he exited the dungeon and was ready to leave the Grand Citadel and return to his residence.

However, an old man appeared before him, preventing his departure.

“Lord Cain,” the old man, a Sky Master, bowed respectfully toward Cain and handed over a small white chest.

“I was tasked by Lord Commander Sarukan to wait for you and deliver your reward.” Cain’s face lit up with a wide smile as he saw the white box, knowing exactly what it contained.

He took it and nodded to the old man.

“Thank you.

Please pass my gratitude to Lord Commander Sarukan.” After thanking the old man, Cain left the Grand Citadel and headed to his residence.

Once there, he couldn’t wait any longer and opened the small white chest.

Inside was a crystalline brain embedded with a miniature nebula, shimmering with cosmic energy.

It was an amazing sight that Cain could have admired for hours.

“Amazing!” Cain exclaimed, recognizing the reward from the records of the Legendary Library of the Trinity Kingdom.

The treasure was known as the Star Brain.

After one’s energy pool was fully crystallized, it could fuse into the brain, nurturing the soul and protecting it during the evolution of the energy pool and the awakening of the True Name.

It was one of the most precious treasures a Sky Lord could ask for.

While Cain’s feet in the naval battle were certainly amazing, Lord Commander Sarukan could have given him many other treasures meant to help his soul force and Cain would have been happy.

There was no need to go to these extremes.  Suddenly, a sharp light appeared in Cain’s eyes, accompanied by a small smile.

“Ahhh, good game, old man.” Lord Commander Sarukan had noticed the power and potential Cain displayed and chose to reinforce the bond between the young man and the Trinity Kingdom by nurturing a sense of gratitude.

It was a tactic Cain had used several times in Aether, and a very effective one.  ‘I intend to kill and consume as many Legends of the Lynch Kingdom as possible, so I guess that will be more than enough to pay any debt I might have acquired.’ Cain nodded, accepting the reward, and closed the chest.

With everything in order, Cain adopted a meditative stance and began to focus on the massive amount of gray flames surrounding his energy pool.

Immediately, the fire was set ablaze, and the energy and vitality in it began to infuse into his Spirit Force, pushing forward the energy pool’s crystallization.

Cain smiled as his Spirit Force evolved, allowing his entire existence to grow stronger, rapidly advancing to the next level.

It took only twenty-two hours before the entire energy pool resembled a massive crystal.

“BOOM!” A burst of energy emerged from Cain’s body, cracking the residence, as his energy pool exerted an overwhelming crushing pressure and gravitational force.

The density of his Spirit Force was simply overwhelming, and the amount of energy it held was massive.

Cain only smiled as he saw the destruction around him, knowing it proved just how strong and pure his energy pool and Spirit Force were.

His smile grew even wider when he saw that there was still a massive amount of gray flames left around his energy pool.

“Now that I have finished the crystallization, it is time for the condensation.” A thrilling sense of excitement arose in Cain’s eyes as he felt closer and closer to the Legendary Realm.

After the crystallization is completed, a cultivator must continue the condensation of their energy pool, reducing its size while ensuring it remains stable.

Once the mass reaches a critical point, it will trigger the Event Horizon Formation, evolving the energy pool into a Dark Seed, and awakening the True Name.

Normally, this process would take a lot of time, several years even for geniuses, but the Soul Devouring Legendary Cultivation Technique had a different path.

‘It is only a matter of days, maybe even hours for the next battle to begin.’ A sharp and solemn light appeared in Cain’s eyes as he knew that the battle on the shore would be extremely bloody.

‘No time to waste.’ Cain did not simply remain idle in the sky; he flashed forward, reaching the shore before descending to the ground.

His eyes wandered in all directions, giving the appearance that he was surveying the surroundings and checking the defenses.

Technically, Cain did not have any military status, so the defensive formation had nothing to do with him.

However, since he had performed so excellently in the naval battle, no one disturbed him, believing he was there to analyze and contribute to their defense strategy.

In truth, Cain wasn’t focused on the fortifications.

He had already seen them when he reached Bravos and knew there was nothing he could add.

What he was actually doing, unbeknownst to anyone, was sending streams of his energy and gray flames deep into the ground.

Cain was extremely careful, channeling his energy and gray flames quietly, making sure no one detected anything.

He formed intricate energy matrices deep within the earth, far below the surface where no one could see.

These matrices were very important for the ritual that would allow the awakening of his True Name.

He carried on like that for nearly an hour, meticulously placing the energy matrices.

Then, he flew to the right flank, descending to the ground, and repeated the same process.

His actions seemed methodical and purposeful, further reinforcing the illusion that he was analyzing the defenses.

The same process was carried out on the left flank, where another stream of energy and gray flames emerged from the soles of his feet and fused into the ground, creating more energy matrices.

By the time he ended with the third point, the gray flames surrounding his energy pool had fully consumed.

‘Mmm, I guess it doesn’t matter that there is nothing left since it seems I will get the chance to replenish in a few minutes,’ Cain thought, his eyes cold as he glanced at the Lynch Kingdom’s forces.

He saw how the ships and the warriors in the sky were marching forward, preparing for the next confrontation.

The time for the next battle was approaching, and Cain was more than ready.

He had two very powerful Legendary Innate Abilities at his disposal that he could use as trump cards in case of a new sneak attack.
