The Grand Lich’s attack destroyed the ice and forced Archduke Halbinder to pull back.

The leader of the Lynch Kingdom was ready to take advantage, but he was thwarted by a massive shield covered in golden energy that flashed toward him, intending to rampage over him.

“Damn you!” Grand Lich Morkon shouted as he unleashed a torrent of necrotic fire toward the shield, halting Lord Commander Sarukan’s charge.

However, before the Grand Lich could do anything else, torrents of ice fell on his figure.

The Lich transformed into a specter, evading the ice torrent and the shield charge, appearing hundreds of meters away and glaring at Lord Commander Sarukan and Archduke Halbinder with coldness.

Lord Commander Sarukan knew it would be impossible for him to face Grand Lich Morkon alone now that the man had recovered all his energy.

That was why he decided to fight against the man as a team alongside Archduke Halbinder.

Cain softly nodded as he saw the battle strategy that Lord Commander Sarukan deployed in the sky, but he did not lose too much focus on it as he was currently fighting against twenty Sky Lords alone!

Even with his energy pool fully crystallized, it was an incredibly taxing battle, but he was able to keep them at bay by firing spells at a simply staggering speed.

Just as Cain dodged a barrage of arrows, parried a battle axe, and sent a stream of fire and lightning toward a group of enemies, he noticed how the five warships that were still left from the Trinity Kingdom’s navy were marching forward.

Such a low number would not make much difference, and even if they sank the enemy ships, it would not change a lot.

However, Cain could not help but feel drawn to them since his Eye of Gluttony did not detect any life forms inside.
