The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1041
Chapter 1041: Lynch Kingdom’s tower (I) Chapter 1041: Lynch Kingdom’s tower (I) Cain continued to weave through the sky, dodging and countering the relentless onslaught from the Sky Lords.
Each enemy brought their unique battle style, making the battle increasingly complex and dangerous.
A Sky Lord exhaled a cloud of poisonous gas that spread rapidly through the air.
The toxic mist swirled menacingly toward Cain, who immediately summoned a shield of shadow to block its path.
The gas hissed and sizzled against the shadowy barrier, but Cain’s defenses held firm.
He retaliated with a swift blast of lightning, catching the poison user off guard and sending him reeling backward.
He had barely taken care of the poison user when another Sky Lord, resembling a massive bear, charged at Cain, swinging enormous claws with deadly precision.
Cain narrowly dodged the first swipe, using Air Speed to enhance his agility.
As the bear monster lunged again, Cain unleashed a torrent of fire, scorching the creature’s fur and causing it to roar in pain.
Before Cain could deliver a deadly blow, more attacks came.
He managed to dodge most, but a Sky Lord summoned howling specters that screeched through the air, their wails piercing Cain’s ears.
The ghostly figures swooped and swirled, trying to disorient him.
Cain gritted his teeth against the eerie cacophony and conjured a wave of lightning that surged forward, consuming the spectral entities and leaving nothing but ash in their wake.
The Sky Lord who had summoned them cried out in shock, and Cain seized the opportunity, closing the distance in an instant and thrusting his hand through the enemy’s chest, unleashing his devouring flames.
There was no time to be happy about the new kill as Cain barely managed to consume a few strands of life force before the Sky Lords regrouped and launched a coordinated assault, bombarding Cain with spells and attacks from all directions.
Poisonous darts, icy shards, and fiery blasts filled the air, each seeking to end his life.
Cain dodged and parried with near-superhuman reflexes, his body a blur of motion.
However, the strain was immense since he was being attacked from too many fronts.
‘If I were to summon the darkness dragon from Lamerto’s Legendary Innate Ability, I could kill them all,’ Cain allowed that thought to wander in his mind for a few seconds before shaking his head and carrying on with the battle, sending explosions in all directions while dodging those sent toward him.
“¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” “¡BOOM!” The battlefield in the sky was not the only one raging, as the ground was also filled with overwhelming destruction.
The warships from the Lynch Kingdom had already reached the shore and the warriors were marching forward as the soldiers of the Trinity Kingdom fired beams of energy from the towers and used the formations in the walls to push them back.
It was an extremely bloody and carnage-filled scene with every second seeing hundreds of lives lost, blasted to pieces, leaving nothing but broken remains behind.
Despite the massive losses, the soldiers from the Lynch Kingdom advanced without fear or hesitation, as if those emotions had been yanked out of their minds.
Given the tyranny and soul power of Grand Lich Morkon, the idea that he brainwashed the foot soldiers so they would march without fear of death was not out of the question.
Cain glanced at the battlefield on the coast from time to time.
While they were all weak soldiers, if they managed to break the defenses of the shore and establish a foothold, the battle would pass to one of attrition.
There was nothing Cain could do to avoid that, and he actually hoped it would happen as it would benefit him.
Of course, he would not help the Lynch Kingdom and focused all his power on the enemies in the sky, fighting with everything he had.
After countless strikes, Cain finally spotted a new opening as a Sky Lord had overextended in his attack, leaving his flank exposed.
Cain moved with blinding speed, his gray flames igniting as he struck.

The Sky Lord screamed as the flames consumed his existence, his energy and life force flowing into Cain.
The power surge rejuvenated Cain, giving him a momentary respite.
Yet not even a second later, blades glowing with a sinister light approached Cain.
He parried the first strike with Sky Breaker, the clash of metal ringing out through the battlefield.
The second dagger sliced through the air toward his throat, but Cain twisted away just in time, the blade grazing his skin.
Blood flowed from the shallow cut, but Cain ignored the pain, countering with a powerful slash that sent the dagger-wielder staggering back.
There was a flash of surprise in Cain’s eyes as he gazed at the woman who managed to wound him but could not focus on her as the Sky Lords were relentless, their attacks growing more frenzied by the second.
The next second a Sky Lord with control over wind summoned a massive cyclone, trying to trap Cain within its swirling vortex.
Cain summoned a storm of his own, lightning crackling around him as he unleashed a devastating counterattack.
The two forces collided, and the sky lit up with the brilliance of their clash.
Cain’s lightning overwhelmed the cyclone, dispersing it and sending the wind controller tumbling through the air.
The Sky Lords were powerful and numerous, but Cain’s determination and skill kept him in the fight.
His body ached, and blood stained his armor, but he pressed on with everything he had, killing as many as he could.
Cain used Shadow Forge to create a series of shields and whips, deflecting pillars of earth that sought to crush him and countering with strikes that shattered the stone constructs.
Another Sky Lord tried to ensnare Cain with vines laced with deadly thorns, but Cain’s lightning-fast reflexes allowed him to slice through the tendrils with ease.
He launched a barrage of fire and lightning, overwhelming the plant controller and consuming him in flames.
Just as Cain was ready to reach the Sky Lord and consume him, he noticed something odd happening on the coastal battlefield with the broken bodies of the foot soldiers of the Lynch Kingdom.
