The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1043
Chapter 1043: Mummified spellcaster Chapter 1043: Mummified spellcaster The moment the voice of Lord Commander Sarukan echoed across the battlefield, everybody moved.
Since the power of the Flesh Tower had not severely wounded their vitality, and they were still in formation, the soldiers on the ground were able to make a strategic retreat without losing too many men.
The Sky Lords and Sky Masters in the air had it even easier as the necrotic aura of the Flesh Tower had yet to grow powerful enough to affect them, so it was not a problem for them to move away from the battlefield.
“Continue attacking!
Kill as many as you can!
Do not contain your energy; we have a stronghold to fall back on now!” Grand Lich Morkon shouted to the Legends of the Lynch Kingdom, urging them to carry on and kill as many as they could.
Although he shouted those words, the leader of the Lynch Kingdom knew there would be no massive casualties on the enemy’s side.
Grand Lich Morkon could not help but frown and grow enraged toward Lord Commander Sarukan.
If the man had been more blinded by the fear of defeat and pushed the battle forward, the losses for the Trinity Kingdom would have been much more severe.
However, it was clear that Sarukan did not achieve his military position just due to his brute power.
Lord Commander Sarukan and Archduke Halbinder sneered as they heard the words from Grand Lich Morkon and made sure to keep him busy as the rest of the Legends pulled back.
The Legends of the Trinity Kingdom carefully retreated away from the coast and back to the center of Bravos.
While they could move at shocking speed, Bravos had become a truly gargantuan city, and they could not move very fast as they were constantly defending themselves from the attacks of their enemy counterparts.
“BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!” It took several minutes, but it seemed that the Legends would all make it back when suddenly a massive explosion of fire took place.
The cause was a massive blue fireball fired by a mummified spellcaster from the Lynch Kingdom that managed to land on the body of a Legendary Warrior of Trinity Island.
The rest of the Legends of the Trinity Kingdom saw how their comrade was blasted to the ground, but there was nothing they could do to help as they were immobilized by their enemies.
The Legendary Warrior was barely able to stand from the ground, with grievous burning wounds all over his body as he saw the mummified spellcaster from the Lynch Kingdom charging another massive spell.
He attempted to move but was too wounded and there was nothing he could do to dodge the attack.
A cold and vicious smile appeared on the Legend mummy as he was ready to fire the tornado of flames toward the Legendary Warrior when suddenly his eyes widened as his instincts screamed danger.
He glanced around and saw a shadow flashing toward him.
While he tried to move, the attack came too suddenly and he was in the midst of casting his most powerful spell.
Shock and awe appeared on every Legend in the sky as they saw the shadow figure flash toward the mummified spellcaster with a massive bastard sword.
The mummy’s energy barrier activated but the shadow figure’s attack shattered them nearly instantly.
The bastard sword pierced into the chest of the Legend, and both fell toward the ground like a comet the next second.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!” Lightning and flames spread everywhere as the power channeled into the bastard sword was discharged.
The mummified spellcaster felt his entrails burning and the damage to his body was massive, but he was a Legend and had trained his body in the art of Lichdom, so there were no real vital organs in his body.
However, just as the mummy prepared to fight back, a powerful force emerged from the bastard sword, nearly doubling the size of the cut in his chest, and generating large cracks that extended in all directions, vitally crippling him.
Cain showed a cold smile as he saw the wound on the mummified spellcaster.
He had kept an eye on the Legendary Battlefield and the moment a chance presented itself, he used his Illusion Innate Ability to lose the Sky Lords and attack the Legend using all his power and taking full advantage of the momentum and power of Sky Breaker.
Gray flames covered Cain’s body, filling him with power and energy for his spells and Innate Abilities.

Normally he did not use these flames as he reserved them for cultivation, but his energy pool was fully crystallized, and he could obtain much more by consuming the mummified spellcaster.
Suddenly Cain’s eyes narrowed as he felt a monstrous killing intent.
He turned around and saw Grand Lich Morkon looking at him with pure, unadulterated rage and a desire for slaughter.
The leader of the Lynch Kingdom could not be more enraged.
One might have been a fluke but this was the second time the same young man took down a Legend from his forces, awakening a desire to rip him to pieces.
“Hmph!” Cain only sneered as he felt the killing intent of the Stellar Abyss Legend.
He sent arcs of lightning across the mummified spellcaster, paralyzing his body and energy, before dashing into the center of Bravos, away from the battlefield.
Of course, while Grand Lich Morkon’s soul was full of rage, Lord Commander Sarukan could not be happier.
Cain had saved one of his Legends and taken down another from the Lynch Kingdom.
That helped to improve morale after the rise of that massive Flesh Tower.
“Hahaha, I cannot let a brat take all the glory.” Lord Commander Sarukan uttered those words as he saw how all his soldiers left the coast.
He then focused on Grand Lich Morkon and clenched his fists as a rune glowed in it.
Grand Lich Morkon’s eyes widened as he saw that rune, and then he saw how all the massive walls and energy towers from the Trinity Kingdom on the shore of Bravos began to glow before finally exploding!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!”
