The Lynch Kingdom had suffered catastrophic casualties, losing over a third of its Legends, almost 70% of its Sky Masters and Sky Lords, and 99% of its foot soldiers.

Normally, such casualties would make any force consider the invasion a lost cause, yet the eyes of Grand Lich Morkon were full of resolution as if he was ready to sacrifice everything as long as they managed to conquer Trinity Island.

‘There is something I am not seeing,’ Cain thought, unable to shake the feeling that there was something he didn’t know.

The resolve behind Grand Lich Morkon and the rest of the Legends simply did not make sense.

With such heavy losses, how did they expect to harness the resources of Trinity Island and still keep control over Lynch Island?

However, there was no time for those questions as the final battle for Bravos began.

The Legends of the Trinity Kingdom infused themselves with the radiance of the Grand Citadel as they marched forward, followed by all the Sky Lords, Sky Masters, and foot soldiers.

The forces of the Lynch Kingdom glanced at their opponents with cold disdain.

It was true they had suffered massive casualties, but they had won every single clash during the past week, so they were certain victory would be theirs.

They marched forward with pure killing intent, ready to take the city.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!” A massive explosion that illuminated the sky marked the start of the battle as necrotic energy, golden force, and ice power clashed in the highest battle.

Once more, the most intense and powerful fight was between Lord Commander Sarukan and Archduke Halbinder against the leader of the Lynch Kingdom, Grand Lich Morkon.

“BOOOOOMMM!” “BOOOM!” “BOOMMMM!” It didn’t take long for more explosions, both big and small, to fill the sky as the Legends from both sides attacked each other with everything they had.

Pure and monstrous killing intent flooded the heavens.

The sky battlefield was just as brutal as that of the Legends, but much bloodier due to the presence of a young man with a massive bastard sword that flashed from one side of the battleground to the other, killing everything in his path.

The number of Sky Lords in the Lynch Kingdom had reduced drastically over the last week to the point they no longer had the luxury of keeping dozens of them holding back Cain.

Cain’s eyes were full of resolution and killing intent as he annihilated as many Sky Lords and Sky Masters as possible.

He fought with nothing short of madness and ferocity as if there was nothing in his heart but the desire to kill.

The truth was that Cain was indeed eager to kill.

He understood that this would be the last battle for Bravos, and he needed to charge his magic matrices as much as he could before it all ended.

He killed nonstop, even willing to take serious wounds during the process.

The warriors of the Trinity Kingdom were fighting with everything they had but were slowly being pushed back, just like in all the other fights.

The problem arose from the lack of Legends.

Not only were they at a numerical disadvantage, but the two strongest were locked in a fight against Grand Lich Morkon.

Lord Commander Sarukan clenched his teeth with rage as he used his shield to shatter a darkness maelstrom but was still sent flying away hundreds of meters.

Now that Grand Lich Morkon had fully recovered from the voyage through the Sea of Wonders and could use the full power of his Stellar Abyss Legendary cultivation base, Sarukan could barely keep up with the Lich’s spells.

Luckily for Lord Commander Sarukan, before Grand Lich Morkon could unleash another attack, a barrage of massive ice spears fell from the sky, forcing the Lich to focus on them.

If not for the timely help of Archduke Halbinder’s ice spells, Sarukan would have perished long ago.

Unfortunately, the flawless teamwork of the duo did not change things, and as the battle carried on for hours, they were pushed back over and over until they were practically pressed against the Grand Citadel!

Grand Lich Morkon’s eyes glowed with deadly resolution as he gazed at the massive citadel behind the duo.

His life force ignited as he placed his hand forward, generating a necrotic pulse of energy that sent Lord Commander Sarukan and Archduke Halbinder flying away and out of his path.

Before the duo could do anything to stop him, Grand Lich Morkon concentrated his energy into a dark sphere of plasma and the next instant unleashed a beam of absolute and immense power.

“Death Burst!” The beam of dark plasma blasted forward with a power that made the entire city of Bravos tremble before crashing point-blank into the Grand Citadel.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!” A massive explosion of darkness took place as the beam of energy clashed with the Grand Citadel.

The massive structure that functioned as the main stronghold of the Trinity Kingdom glowed with energy arrays as it endured the power of that overwhelming attack, but they did not last for long before the peak was blown to pieces!

Shock arose in the Legends of the Trinity Kingdom as they saw the darkness beam blow the top of the Grand Citadel to pieces, and soon it became horror as they saw how the radiance emanating from it began to wane.

That golden radiance was the only thing keeping the necrotic force field from the Flesh Tower at bay, and without it, they would not be able to face the forces of the Lynch Kingdom.

Lord Commander Sarukan had just regained control over his body when he saw that massive explosion and pure rage and frustration arose in his heart as he realized just how great the difference between his power and that of a full-fledged Stellar Abyss Legend was.

“Retreat now.

The city is lost!” Unwillingness appeared in Lord Commander Sarukan as he uttered those words.

He was not a coward and was ready to fight to the last breath if that was what it took, but there was no time for irrationality.
