Chapter 1050: Legendary Soul Devourer (I) Chapter 1050: Legendary Soul Devourer (I) Cain’s instincts screamed like never before since he had reached the Crimson World.

The level of danger he was facing at this moment truly surpassed his capabilities, and it was not hard to figure out the origin as he saw the eyes of Grand Lich Morkon focusing on him with what could only be described as pure bloodlust.

‘Time to die, ant.’ Cain’s eyes widened as he heard those words echo inside his mind and saw the Stellar Abyss Legend flash toward him with nearly maniacal killing intent.

Lord Commander Sarukan was badly wounded, maybe even dead, and the Flesh Tower’s necrotic force field loomed over the forces of the Trinity Kingdom, so there was no way any of the Legends would help him.

Or at least that was what Cain thought when suddenly massive walls of ice appeared in the path of Grand Lich Morkon.

Cain’s eyes widened as he saw those walls of ice and turned to see Archduke Halbinder’s energy explode, bursting with power.

“Run now!” Archduke Halbinder did not have time to utter any more words as his ice walls shattered the next instant, and Grand Lich Morkon focused on him.

“Are you so eager to die!” The Stellar Abyss Legend shouted with rage as he summoned massive maelstroms of darkness and began to attack Archduke Halbinder.

Cain saw that scene and knew it was the perfect time for him to escape, yet he did not move.

If he ran now, his chances of reaching the Legendary Realm would be shattered, and he would be stuck on an island soon to be controlled by a force that wanted nothing more than to kill him.

‘Fortune favors the bold!’ That thought crossed Cain’s mind as his eyes burst with determination and resolution.

Gray flames covered his body, and without hesitation, he sent all of them into the ground.

“RUMBLE!” The entire city of Bravos began to tremble, and the next second, everyone saw how six massive matrices began to glow before connecting through flaming lines, forming a massive pentagram.

The forces from the Trinity Kingdom and Lynch Kingdom turned toward Cain with shock and confusion.

They had no idea what was happening or what the young man was trying.

Archduke Halbinder was risking his life to buy him time, but instead of running away, the young man had seemingly activated a massive formation that covered the entire city.

Cain did not have time to explain as his body burst with power, and he flashed at full speed, not to the distance, but to the highest sky.

As he did that, the massive pentagram began to burst with more and more power, unleashing a massive soul force that flooded the sky.

The scene grew more and more shocking as that massive soul force took the form of a vortex that soon revealed a massive demonic gate.

It was gargantuan, and the same flaming pentagram that covered Bravos could be seen on it.

Cain’s speed was phenomenal as he rose higher and higher at a shocking pace, taking advantage of the shock triggered by the ritual.

He managed to surpass the Legendary Battlefield before any of the Lynch Kingdom’s Legends could stop him.

Grand Lich Morkon’s eyes widened as he saw the massive gate in the sky, feeling that something terrible was looming.

His instincts urged him to stop it, and without hesitation, he made his energy explode, sacrificing a burst of vitality to send Archduke Halbinder flying away and chasing after Cain.

Cain moved at a simply shocking speed even for Legends, but Grand Lich Morkon was faster, and the man would catch up to him before he could reach the gate.

A sharp light appeared in Cain’s eyes as he focused on one of the abilities contained within his Spirit Force.

Using it would have severe consequences, but if Cain did nothing, Grand Lich Morkon would catch him, and then only death awaited him.

“Darkness Dragon!” Cain shouted those words.

The next second, he felt his entire body trembling, blood leaking from his eyes and ears as a massive amount of energy was consumed.

However, even that was not enough, and the ability also consumed part of his life force.

It nearly crippled him, but Cain maintained his consciousness and showed a bloody smile as he saw a gargantuan dragon of darkness appear in the sky by his side, lunging toward Grand Lich Morkon with Legendary power!

Grand Lich Morkon was utterly shocked.

Not only did a young Sky Lord manage to summon a Legendary creature, but he recognized this ability as there was no way he would not have learned everything he could about the people working for him inside the Trinity Kingdom.

“Lamerto’s Legendary Innate Ability!

How?!” Grand Lich Morkon could not help but scream, but there was no time for that as the Legendary darkness dragon lunged toward him with immense power, forcing him to stop his chase and fight back.

“BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!” A massive explosion echoed behind Cain, but he did not bother with it.

He knew the Legendary Darkness Dragon could only keep Grand Lich Morkon busy for a few seconds, so he just kept rising until finally, he stood in front of the massive gate where he adopted a solemn stance and spoke.

“By the blood of the fallen and the breath of the damned, I call upon the shadows, let their whispers be my command.

In the heart of the pentagram, where souls are confined, I summon the Gate of Soul Devourer, to thee I bind.

With runes of power and symbols of dread, I invoke the ancient spirits, awaken the dead.

From the abyss, let the portal arise, Unleash the souls, heed my cries.

Open wide, O Gate of Night, Release your power, grant me might.

Souls of the perished, to me you shall flow, Infuse my being, let my strength grow.

By the will of the devourer, the essence shall feed, My path to the Legendary Realm, this ritual will lead.
