It was clear there was something he didn’t know, but soon all that stopped mattering, and his thrilling and bloodthirsty smile returned to his face.

While he had proposed a ceasefire and offered a chance to end the war here and now, the truth was that Cain wanted to continue fighting.

After all, who knew when he would again have the opportunity to indiscriminately kill Legends and Sky Lords, stealing their Innate Abilities?

“If that’s what you want, then fine by me.” Cain stared at Grand Lich Morkon with coldness and bloodlust before uttering a single word.

“Dragonform!” “¡BOOM!” A burst of energy emerged from Cain’s body, and his body began to transform.

His muscles bulged, and the sound of bones cracking echoed as he grew larger and larger.

Infernal red scales that shimmered with an otherworldly glow covered his skin and muscles, making his presence even more imposing.

“Markus’s Legendary Innate Ability!” Grand Lich Morkon could not help but shout as he recognized the nature of the transformation.

It was the Innate Ability of the first Legend Cain killed, but it was on a whole new level.

All that power was now concentrated in a smaller frame, and the transformation was much more powerful.

Menacing horns curved backward from Cain’s head, and piercing malevolent scarlet flames emanated from his three eyes.

From his back, massive wings emerged, tattered yet seeming capable of carrying mountains, along with a long and powerful spiked tail.

“ROAR!!!” Once the transformation was completed, Cain unleashed a thunderous roar that infused terror in all those who heard it.

The new Dragonform Innate Legendary Ability did not bring just a physical change but also an array of draconic abilities.

A fiendish smile appeared on Cain’s face as he felt the massive boost in physical might this new form granted.

His eyes focused on Grand Lich Morkon before turning toward the Legends of the Trinity Kingdom.

Now, let’s end this war!” The Legends of the Trinity Kingdom were at a loss as they tried to collect their emotions regarding the young man who now resembled a fiendish dragonborn.

Cain had appeared out of nowhere less than a year ago, becoming a hero of the Trinity Kingdom by uncovering the invasion and then an important figure on the battlefield.

Yet, everybody now understood that the sole goal of this man was to enhance his power and use a demonic ritual to consume the souls of their fallen comrades.

Even if he was against their enemies, that did not make him a friend.

“Kill the invaders!” Just as the Legends from the Trinity Kingdom were trying to figure out their next move, Archduke Halbinder shouted and, without hesitation, sent forth a massive spell.

The Legends of the Trinity Kingdom no longer had time to think, and upon seeing Archduke Halbinder marching forward, they could not stand back and flashed forward.

That generated a chain reaction as all the forces of the Trinity Kingdom marched toward their enemies.

Grand Lich Morkon had used all the necrotic energy that flooded Bravos to attack Cain, so this was their chance.

With no side having a field advantage, it would all come down to which force wanted it more and fought more ferociously.

Cain’s smile widened as he saw that.

If the Trinity Kingdom’s Legends had retreated, he would have simply left since no one could stop him.

However, since they attacked, that meant he could focus on his prey without anyone bothering him.

“It has been a long time since I’ve fought not due to a grand goal.

This might be the first time in the last five years that I fight just for the fun of it.” A feeling of utter relaxation flooded Cain’s mind as he uttered those words and focused on Grand Lich Morkon with hunger in his eyes.

The rage in Grand Lich Morkon exploded as he saw the relaxation in Cain’s eyes.

This battle had insurmountable stakes for him, so seeing the calm in his enemy made his killing intent explode.

“I will show you the price for offending me!” Without delay, the leader of the Lynch Kingdom summoned a massive maelstrom of necrotic energy and sent it toward Cain.

It advanced with immense power toward the young man like a beast with its jaws open.

Cain and Grand Lich Morkon managed to recover control over their bodies almost instantly, and they glanced at each other before making their energy explode.

“Death Burst!” A dark sphere of plasma appeared in Grand Lich Morkon’s hand, and in the next instant, he unleashed a beam of absolute and immense power.

Cain felt the immense power behind that attack and opened his draconic maw as scarlet flames gathered inside his body and then released as a concentrated beam.
