The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1061
Chapter 1061: Leaving Trinity Island (II) Chapter 1061: Leaving Trinity Island (II) Archduke Halbinder was at a loss for words.
It was clear from the information that reached his mind how people used his son’s stupidity to obtain all they wanted.
Although Oliver was not a traitor, ignorance did not mean innocence, and if people were to find out about his involvement, they would rightfully claim his head in a spike.
‘What should I do, what should I do?’ Those questions echoed in Archduke Halbinder’s mind as he tried to find a way to fix this problem.
The only way to save his son’s life was to kill all the traitors, but they were not the only ones who knew, and his eyes focused on Cain, with worry.
“Will you tell someone?” “I already forgive him for his transgression against my persona.
My relationship with the Trinity Kingdom is purely transactional, so his complicity in the treason is not relevant.
If you want to hide it, go ahead.” There was an aloof expression on Cain’s face as he showed just how little he cared about all of it.
He then showed a pensive expression before carrying on.
“If you want some advice, you should put him in jail.
Your son is stupid beyond remedy, and while you can protect him now, he will keep annoying people and one day will get himself killed.” Archduke Halbinder glanced at Cain with a meaningful expression as he heard those words.
He did not say anything, but the man understood just how broken his son was and that there was no way to remedy him.
After a moment of deep contemplation, he nodded to the young man, and a decisive light appeared in his eyes.
Cain simply nodded and did not really care whether Archduke Halbinder paid heed to his advice or not.
He had paid his debt to the man and was free to carry on.
Luckily, he had already fully consumed the Flesh Tower, improving the power of his Dark Seed.
“RUMBLE!” As Cain rose from the Flesh Tower, it began to tremble before crumbling to pieces and shattering to the ground.
That scene once more drew the attention back to Cain, who simply reached the highest sky, before dashing into the distance, vanishing from everybody’s sight in just a few seconds.
As Cain vanished into the distance, his silhouette fading against the horizon, the soldiers of the Trinity Kingdom stood in silence, their eyes fixed on the spot where he had disappeared.
Emotions swirled in their hearts, a maelstrom of gratitude, fear, awe, and uncertainty.
To some, Cain remained a hero, a savior who had fought bravely and decisively to protect their home.
They recalled his fearsome presence on the battlefield, cutting through the enemy ranks with unyielding determination and the way he had faced down Grand Lich Morkon, a feat that seemed impossible. Yet others could not shake the image of the Gate if the Soul Devourer consumed the souls of their fallen comrades.
They felt that Cain was a monster, someone who used their death as a way to become stronger. For many, the truth lay somewhere in between.
Cain was an enigma, a being of contradictions who had shattered the boundaries of their understanding.
They had watched him fight with unparalleled ferocity, killing dozens of enemies, and then ascending to the Legendary Realm when they needed it the most using what could only be described as a demonic ritual.
In the end, they could not easily define him, torn between the man who had helped save their kingdom and the monster that consumed the souls of their friends.
Regardless of their feelings, one thing was undeniable: Cain was the reason the Trinity Kingdom had survived the invasion.
His power, his ruthlessness, and his unwavering resolve had turned the tide of battle.
As the soldiers began to tend to the wounded and rebuild what had been lost, they carried with them the knowledge that their future had been secured by a man who embodied both heroism and terror.

Cain didn’t really care what people would say about him.
Whether they spread tales of his heroics or defamed his name, marking him as a soul-eating monster, it didn’t matter to him.
The Crimson World was a crucible for him and would use everything it had to become stronger.
He flew across the sky in his humanoid form, hiding his presence, though he wasn’t heading out of Trinity Island just yet.
Instead, he was flying toward its center.
He hadn’t lied to Archduke Halbinder; he did indeed plan to leave for the South Coast, as Trinity Island offered nothing he desired.
However, he needed to make a stop before that.
It didn’t take him long to reach a massive castle-the same one he had come into contact with a few days after materializing in a physical body in the Crimson World.
The castle belonged to the Rellin Dukedom.
Of all the people in the Trinity Kingdom, Duke Rellin was the only one Cain felt he still owed a debt.
The old man had helped him greatly during his first weeks in the Crimson World.
Of course, Duke Rellin did not do it out of the kindness of his heart; he sought the honor and prestige that would come from being the teacher of a great genius.
Now, many considered Cain some sort of demon, so being his teacher would bring infamy.
Cain silently entered the castle, making himself invisible to everyone until he reached the duke’s room, where he left behind a space ring filled with a myriad of resources that would help the man improve his vitality and lifespan.
Those were some of his spoils of war.
Of course, it would have been easier to hand the space ring over to Duke Rellin in Bravos, but that would surely incite greed, and those who hated Cain might attack the old man.
‘Now I can leave and not bother about this place anymore.’ A carefree smile appeared on Cain’s face as he rose to the sky of Trinity Kingdom one final time.
