The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1069
Chapter 1069: Millennium Auction House Chapter 1069: Millennium Auction House Cain left the Golden Route with a broad smile on his face.
There was a detailed map in his space ring and many resources that would make his future travels much easier.
He had learned a lot about the Helix Continent and already had an idea of what his next destination would be. However, before leaving the South Coast Alliance, Cain walked around the Golden Bazaar, as he wanted to see what the Commerce Association had to offer.
The first store he went to after obtaining his maps was one that sold runes.
Runes were a very powerful tool in the Crimson World, and they could greatly boost someone’s power.
However, not only were they extremely rare and precious, but those at higher ranks were nearly impossible to attain.
There was not a single Legend in the Trinity Kingdom or the Lynch Kingdom that used runes, as they could not obtain one that could improve their overall power.
Cain expected to find stronger ones in the Commerce Association, but while those in the Golden Bazaar could greatly help a Peak Sky Lord and maybe some weak Legends, they were not useful to him.
After that, Cain went to the armories, but once more, he found nothing of use.
There were Legendary weapons and armor, but none of them surpassed Sky Breaker or the physical defenses of his Dragonform’s flesh and blood.
Not all the places were a disappointment, as Cain found one that specialized in potions and found several of them that could not only help him recover extremely fast or fight for very long periods of time but also enhance his battle power and grant him resistance to certain elements.
A good amount of his wealth was spent on them.
Finally, there was one last thing that drew Cain’s interest, the auction house.
He had a lot of Legendary weapons and armor from the Legends he killed during the Trinity-Lynch Kingdoms War, and while they were not useful for him, that did not mean they were not precious in the right hands.
With a calm smile, Cain walked across the Golden Bazaar until he finally reached the auction house and saw the glowing letters on its entrance, the words Millennium Auction House shining with a radiance that could blind weak people.
Cain’s eyes narrowed as he saw those words since they were not simple, and he could feel a powerful intent engraved in them.
It was a strange force he could not quite put into words, but it reminded him of the power he mastered in Aether.
‘I felt the aura of the Laws and Concepts in those words, but I cannot say for certain which.’ A solemn expression appeared in Cain as he came to that conclusion.
The power of the Laws and Concepts was one of his main weapons in Aether, and he had hoped to attain control over them in the Crimson World, but that did not seem to be possible.
Even now that he had awakened his True Name and obtained access to soul force, he could still not perceive the principles and rules that govern the universe, much less gain an understanding of them.
When Cain first awakened his True Name and felt no connection with the world’s rules, he thought that maybe his insight of the Legendary Realm was too shallow and he did not know the proper way to harness the power of the universal principles.
However, he had devoured the memories of many Legends, including a Level 26 Stellar Abyss Legend, and knew that none of those people had even the slightest understanding of Laws or Concepts.
Even if the aura in those words was feeble and barely perceptible, it was clear that the one who wrote them was someone who had touched the principles that rule existence in the Crimson World.
It was a display of power and also a warning for those who would dare to think they could pressure the people in the auction house.
Cain was not reckless and did not see the need to antagonize people, especially those who had done nothing to him and whose background and power were unknown, so he made sure to keep a calm stance in this place as he walked through the gates.
Upon entering, Cain found himself in a vast, opulently decorated main hall.
The floor was made of polished marble, and the high ceilings were painted with celestial murals depicting the cosmos and constellations.
Chandeliers crafted from crystal and enchanted gemstones hung from the ceiling, casting a warm and inviting glow throughout the space.
The lighting enhanced the grandeur and elegance of the hall.
‘So opulent.’ In all honesty, Cain had never liked this type of over-the-top display of wealth, but he understood that the Commerce Association wanted to make it clear for all just how rich they were.

Less than five seconds after Cain entered the room, a young woman walked toward him.
She was petite and very beautiful, immediately showing a charming smile as she bowed.
“The Millennium Auction House welcomes you, Legendary Master.
My name is Nora.
How may I be of assistance today?” Nora’s voice was nearly melodious, capable of pleasing and relaxing anyone who heard it.
Whether it was a simple skill or her Innate Abilities, it was impossible to know.
Cain gazed at the young woman and had to admit she was very beautiful, but his eyes did not show much interest as the Power of Order allowed him to not get distracted with useless thoughts and emotions. He did not leave the young woman waiting and spoke in a calm and friendly tone.
“Good day, I am Cain.
I am here for two reasons, one is to hand over treasures that could be auctioned, and the second is to get a ticket for the next large-scale auction.” A flash of desire and greed appeared in Cain’s eyes as he uttered those last words.
He had learned from his time in the middle ring of the Commerce Association that a large-scale auction would happen soon, and he wanted to get in.
