“So, if my body is destroyed here,” Cain mused, “as long as my True Name remains intact, I will survive.

It might take a long time to revive, but I can always come back.

Not to mention, there’s no downside to returning to the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe and coming back whenever I want.” Tiamat nodded, her expression revealing a hint of approval at Cain’s quick understanding.

“Precisely.

Your True Name is the essence of your existence, the core of your being in the Crimson World.

As long as it remains unscathed, you can always find a way to return, to rebuild.

This realm is a dangerous place, but with the survival abilities of a Dreamwalker, you can navigate its perils with much greater confidence than normal people.” Cain couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the possibilities.

This knowledge gave him an edge, a safety net that allowed him to take risks and face challenges that would otherwise be far too dangerous.

“But,” Tiamat added, her tone growing more serious, “do not let this power make you careless.

Even immortality has its limits, and there are forces in this world and beyond that can threaten your True Name if you are not careful.

Someone like me would only need a thought to erase your existence.” Cain nodded the weight of her warning sinking in.

“I understand.

I will be cautious and not grow overconfident.” Tiamat’s gaze softened slightly, and a small, approving smile played at the corners of her lips.

“Good, now I will tell you about Adam, the First Dreamwalker.” Tiamat paused, her gaze lingering on Cain for a moment before she continued.

What she said next shocked the young man to his core.

“I know very little about his actions in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, but according to my understanding, he was the one who brought the human race into existence there and carved a path for them, transforming them from a small group into one of the mightiest superpowers.

However, that madman was not content with just the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe-he managed to project his willpower into the Crimson World, becoming the first Dreamwalker.” Cain’s eyes widened as he processed Tiamat’s words.

His mind raced as he pieced together the implications.

The First Dreamwalker, Adam, was the same Adam who supposedly led the human race from the Old World into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe-the First Titan and Emperor of the Godslayer Humankind!

Cain had always known that much of Aether’s history, particularly the first thousands of years, was an ancient memory implanted in all Seed Worlds.

However, Tiamat’s words seem to confirm that Adam’s story was real, although they happened millions of years ago.  Tiamat observed Cain’s expression, giving him a few moments to digest the information before she continued.

“Adam was a maniac, a true madman,” Tiamat said, a hint of amusement in her tone.

“There were countless taboos in the Crimson World, rules everyone believed could not be broken.

But he kept defying them, rising from deadlands where no one else had survived, always returning stronger than before.” A small smile played on Tiamat’s lips as she spoke, a mix of admiration and nostalgia in her eyes.

“He was a good friend and always stood by those who followed him.

His power was so immense that many of us believed he would reach the pinnacle, break through the peak…

but then the Great War erupted, and none of us had time.” A flash of sadness crossed Tiamat’s eyes as she spoke of the Great War, but it quickly faded as she refocused on Cain.

Her voice took on a finality as she addressed him one last time.

“Now, young man, I will leave.

I wish you good luck, and perhaps we can speak again in the future-if you have the strength to rise through the tower.” Cain’s eyes narrowed at the mention of the tower, questions forming in his mind, but before he could voice them, Tiamat’s willpower vanished, leaving him alone in the vast emptiness of the shrine.

He knew there would be no more answers, at least not for now.

The immense presence that had filled the shrine was gone, and Cain was left with many questions.

He knew he would need to become stronger if he wanted those answers.

Fortunately, he was about to obtain immense power.

After Tiamat’s willpower faded, the massive dragon heads before Cain unleashed their immense power again, taking hold of his dragon inheritance with a force that was impossible to resist.

Cain closed his eyes, surrendering to the process.

He didn’t resist as his Dragonborn Legendary Innate Ability was pulled from his black hole, and the essence of his Zero Bloodline was yanked out of his bloodstream.

The force emerging from the dragon heads then turned its attention to his chest and tore his Dragonheart apart, bursting it into golden energy.

Cain’s entire body trembled under the immense strain and pain, but he kept his focus, determined to see this transformation through.

He could feel the full extent of his dragon heritage gathering around his chest, a swirling mass of raw power and potential.

The eyes of the dragon heads began to glow, their intensity growing with each passing second.

Among them, two stood out, their brilliance far surpassing the others-the head of fire and the head of lightning.

Before Cain could fully grasp what was happening, streams of soul force surged from these two heads, converging on his chest.

The soul force, rich with the essence of devouring fire and raging lightning, merged with his dragon heritage.
