The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1134
Chapter 1134: Into the Moon Heart Chapter 1134: Into the Moon Heart The three emissaries paid little attention to the Ancient Dragons.
Still, they clapped their hands and performed a small bow toward the Grand Elders of the Tiamat Sect, a gesture of respect for power-something paramount throughout the entire Crimson World.
The woman with flowing silver hair nodded toward Grand Elder Kryos, speaking in a solemn yet cordial tone.
“I am Alara, and these are my sisters, Samira and Ophelia.” She introduced herself and her siblings, then continued, “We have been awaiting your arrival, Grand Elders.
Lady Alume is prepared to receive you in the Grand Hall.” There was a brief pause before she added, “The other parties have already arrived.” Immediately, the faces of the Tiamat Sect’s Grand Elders hardened.
The Sun Church had arrived ahead of them.
Despite the Tiamat Sect’s speed, it seemed the Sun Church had been faster.
However, the Grand Elders didn’t dwell on it.
If being early was enough to win the favor of the Moon Cult, then there was no contest to begin with.
Grand Elder Kryos focused on Alara, nodding.
“Please guide us.
We are ready.” The young woman offered a somewhat strained smile before replying, “The Grand Hall is not suited for your massive bodies, as it was built for frames like ours.
It would be of great help if you could adopt human forms.” All the dragons from the Tiamat Sect immediately frowned as they heard those words.
Though they could easily shift their forms, it was in their true draconic bodies where their full physical might lay and from which they could display the full might of their Dragon Sinful Hearts. While adopting humanoid forms was common practice for dragons during peaceful interactions with other races-given that most creatures were minuscule compared to their mountain-sized figures-these were far from peaceful times.
In the presence of their enemies, they were reluctant to show any form of weakness.
If a battle broke out, shifting back into their dragon forms would take but a second, but in a conflict of their level, a second could mean everything.
The Grand Elders exchanged glances before nodding.
Reluctantly, they adopted their dragonborn forms, each standing over one hundred and twenty meters tall, their presence still dominating despite the smaller size.
Grand Elder Kryos signaled for the other dragons to do the same.
Cain followed suit, his humanoid form towering at twenty-five meters.
His muscles were well-defined, and his scales gleamed like armor.
While the transformation diminished some of their physical strength and vitality, it enhanced their speed and dexterity, so the loss in battle power was minimal-though endurance would undoubtedly take a hit.
The Moon Cult emissary, Alara, looked at the dragonborn forms with a complicated smile.
They were still too large, but she sensed the dragons’ reluctance to shrink.
Alara was about to suggest they adopt complete human forms again, but Grand Elder Kryos cut her off before she could comment. “If those backstabbing bastards from the Sun Church are present, this is as much as we’re willing to compromise.
If it’s not enough for the Moon Cult, we’ll leave.” Grand Elder Kryos’ voice was sharp and carried a sense of finality. The air grew tense as the dragons adopted cold, steely expressions.
Cain, too, felt a surge of icy resentment.
The Sun Church had attacked them without provocation, setting ambushes that claimed the lives of many dragons.
The Tiamat Sect would never lower their guard in the presence of such treacherous foes.
As the emissary hesitated, unsure of how to respond, a commanding voice echoed from within the Moon Heart.

“It’s all right, Alara,” the voice boomed, reverberating through the air.
“Our friends may enter in their dragonborn forms.” The tension in the air lessened as the words registered, and all eyes turned toward the massive tree from which the voice emerged.
It carried an immense weight of authority-a power that even the Tiamat dragons had to respect.
Grand Elder Kryos narrowed his eyes as he gazed at the Moon Heart, bowing slightly in acknowledgment of the voice’s owner, recognizing it as someone even a Void Eclipse lifeform like him had to respect.
Alara relaxed visibly upon hearing the voice, relieved that her task had become significantly easier.
She nodded toward the dragons and gestured for the Grand Elders and the Ancient Dragons to follow her toward the colossal tree-the Moon Heart. As the group neared the tree, the entrance and pathways, originally designed for humanoids, began to shift and expand.
The tree itself seemed to respond to the approaching dragons, its form molding and stretching to accommodate their massive dragonborn figures.
Cain couldn’t help but gaze around in awe.
The sheer flexibility of the Moon Heart was astonishing, its form malleable with just a thought from those in control.
The structure radiated a powerful aura of moonlight and ethereal energy, pulsing through its very bark and branches. The moonlit atmosphere was serene, yet beneath it lay a strength that could not be ignored.
Cain marveled at the harmony between nature and the power that flowed through the Moon Heart.
The dragons continued their approach and soon arrived at a grand hall.
Its ceilings towered above them like the sky itself.
In the center of the hall stood a massive table, glowing with a faint silver light.
At the head of the table sat a group of women, each one breathtakingly beautiful, their radiance exuding an aura of elegance and power.
Though all the women possessed an air of authority, there was one that reigned above all others.
Her presence was overwhelming, her hair cascading like liquid silver down her shoulders and her violet eyes shimmering with wisdom and raw power.
Dressed in robes woven from moonlight, she effortlessly commanded the space around her.
The woman was impressive, but the dragons’ attention quickly shifted to the group seated to the left.
Their aura was vastly different.
It wasn’t the cool, ethereal energy of the Moon Cult but a scorching heat radiating with the blinding brilliance of the sun itself.
