The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1160
Chapter 1160: Commerce Association’s Leader Chapter 1160: Commerce Association’s Leader Less than half an hour after Nora vanished into the shadows, Cain quietly left the Commerce Association, blending with the surroundings until he reached a silent forest far from prying eyes.
After ensuring no one was around, Cain waved his hand, and the young woman appeared before him.
At first, Nora was disoriented, her eyes wide with confusion as she tried to comprehend who had kidnapped her and why.
But as she watched the seemingly ordinary man morph into a handsome young figure with white hair and golden eyes, a wave of realization hit her.
There was no way Nora could have forgotten him-the man who had come to the Millennial Auction House, the same man she had sold out to House Arken.
She thought little of it at the time, assuming Cain would perish like many others who crossed the powerful House Arken.
However, not only had he survived, but his infamy had spread across the South Coast like wildfire, the name Abaddon now associated with terrifying power. Nora hadn’t believed Cain would ever discover her betrayal, and she had assumed he had fled to the mainland to escape Aurelius Arken.
While she was afraid, she didn’t honestly believe the man would come after her.
Unfortunately, she had guessed wrong, and now it was time to pay the price.
Desperation surged through Nora.
Her thoughts raced-she wanted to flee, to explain herself, anything that might save her.
But Cain had no interest in her excuses.
The only reason he hadn’t killed her inside the Commerce Association was the possibility that her death might trigger an alarm.
Here, in the secluded forest, none of that mattered.
Cain’s Eye of Gluttony glowed menacingly, and in the next moment, scarlet flames erupted from it, surging toward Nora and engulfing her.
The fire invaded every inch of her, burning through her flesh, drilling into her organs, and finally searing her very soul.
Agony twisted her face, but Cain’s expression remained cold and unfeeling.
The woman had plotted to take his life, and from that moment on, she had been living on borrowed time.
It didn’t take long.
Within moments, Scarlet Reaper consumed her entirely, leaving nothing behind.
Her energy, soul force, and Innate Ability flowed into Cain’s black hole along with her memories.
A sharp gleam flickered in his eyes as he sifted through Nora’s memories.
Despite her weakness, she had been deeply connected with the Commerce Association.
Although she appeared as a young woman, she was over a hundred years old, using treasures to preserve her youthful appearance.
There were many names in her memories that intrigued Cain-individuals who wouldn’t be missed, people with interesting abilities that might be of use.
But one person stood out above the rest: the leader of the Commerce Association.
Cain was already strong enough to force a confrontation with any powerhouse in the South Coast Alliance.
Thanks to Ophiron’s ability, he could now prevent his targets from fleeing.
What he truly needed was a way to catch them when they were most vulnerable.
If anyone knew such secrets, it would be the man who had forged an empire of wealth on the South Coast.

Unfortunately, not even Ophiron, one of the most powerful figures on the South Coast, knew the true identity of the Commerce Association’s leader, let alone his location.
That alone spoke to the man’s paranoia.
A frown creased Cain’s brow.
Despite Nora’s position as a head of the Millennial Auction House and her involvement in many of the Commerce Association’s darker dealings, she too did not know the leader’s identity or whereabouts.
“So paranoid,” Cain muttered to himself.
“Hiding his identity from everyone.
Well, I guess you’re not paranoid if you’re actually being hunted.” Not all was lost, however.
Nora might not have known the leader’s location, but she knew someone who did.
That piece of information was enough to keep Cain’s plans in motion.
After finishing his deep dive into her memories, Cain shifted his focus to Nora’s Innate Ability.
As expected, it was nothing special, certainly not something worth keeping.
He quickly consumed it with Scarlet Reaper, using its essence to further nurture his Shadow Master Legendary Innate Ability.
With his business done, Cain rose into the sky, his body again disappearing into the shadows.
— An old man walked leisurely through the bustling streets of a massive city, his appearance unremarkable, blending in effortlessly with the crowd.
No one would suspect that this unassuming figure was, in fact, one of the most influential individuals in the entire South Coast Alliance.
The old man’s face was calm, a mask of tranquility, yet beneath the surface, hidden deep within his soul, there was a flicker of unease.
Yesterday, troubling news reached him.
One of his key puppets in the main domain of the Commerce Association had perished under mysterious circumstances, and despite his extensive network of spies and informants, he had uncovered nothing about the incident-no leads, no witnesses, not even a trace.
‘Is there really a new player in the underworld making moves, or is something far more dangerous at play?’ he thought as he navigated the crowded marketplace.
‘I need more information to figure out what’s really happening.’ These thoughts weighed on him when, suddenly, his instincts screamed in warning.
His eyes widened in alarm, and he reflexively looked up to the sky.
Descending toward him with terrifying speed was a figure cloaked in shadows, his form massive-dozens of meters tall.
The shadowy entity dove toward him like a predator closing in on its prey, claws outstretched, ready to strike.
The old man’s heart raced as he realized the imminent danger, but decades of experience kept him from panicking.
Instantly, a pendant around his neck activated.
In a split second, a burst of energy erupted from the pendant, forming a shimmering rainbow-colored cocoon of light around him.
The shadowed figure, poised to crush the old man with a single strike, found his assault halted by the rainbow cocoon.
His surprise was palpable as he stared at the barrier that had materialized to shield his target.
‘What kind of artifact is this?’ Cain thought as his claws scraped against the protective shield.
Before Cain could contemplate further, his sharp senses alerted him to incoming threats.
From the corners of his vision, he spotted three figures racing toward him at high speed, their powerful auras unmistakable.
All of them were Stellar Abyss Legends!
