“I wonder, my Lord, if I may ask a few questions.” Cain, sensing no harm in indulging him, nodded immediately.

There was no reason to be cruel or overbearing, especially since he now had complete control over the old man’s life.

“What is the name of the mark, its nature, and what are its powers?” Lord Zero asked, voicing his greatest curiosity.

He has returned to his normal routine.” Lord Zero sighed in relief, a broad smile of genuine relaxation spreading across his face.

Armadius was the only person he truly trusted, who had supported him and helped him rise to his current status.
