Her voice was chilling as she asked, “Why is Lady Alume doing this?” Despite all her efforts to understand, Meylin could not fathom why Lady Alume, the Leader of the Moon Cult and one of the peak life forms of the Helix Continent, would follow such a path.

The Void Eclipse Legend’s face turned solemn as he shook his head.

“I cannot say for certain, my Lady.

However, I did learn that there is a second part to the prophecy-one that only Lady Alume perceived.” Meylin’s eyes widened again, her expression grave.

She knew the answers she sought lay within this second part of the prophecy.

“Do nothing more from now on.

I will handle this,” Meylin ordered.

The Void Eclipse Legend nodded to Meylin before melting into the shadows, vanishing from the room and leaving the young woman alone.
