The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1216
Chapter 1216: No exit Chapter 1216: No exit The moment Cain pierced through the crack in space, he felt like he had plunged into a vast abyss.
A suffocating sensation overwhelmed him, darkness enveloping his senses like a shroud.
For an instant, he was weightless, adrift in an ocean of nothingness.
But the void was fleeting.
The light soon returned, and within seconds, the scarlet dragon found himself standing in a colossal hall.
The sheer magnitude of the place struck him immediately-its grandeur was awe-inspiring and unsettling.
Before fully absorbing his surroundings, Cain’s first instinct was to look around for the rest of the Ancient Dragons.
His keen eyes darted through the dimly lit expanse, and relief washed over him as he spotted Eldrick, Zalgrim, and the others materializing nearby. It seemed they had been transported into the Demon King’s Castle in the same formation as when they had crossed the portal.
Since all the dragons had entered together, they appeared close to one another, and the same held true for the angels and the saintesses.
Only after confirming that everyone was present and unharmed did Cain begin to survey the massive hall, trying to understand where they were.
Though obscured by shadows, the ceiling felt endless, supported by colossal blackened stone pillars that vanished into the darkness above.
Massive, gothic-style arches lined the corridor, each adorned with sculptures of mighty creatures of all shapes and forms-beings with wings, horns, and otherworldly features.
Cain’s eyes narrowed as he studied the statues.
Though broken and foreign to most, he recognized the twisted forms and dark artistry characteristic of the Depravita race.
‘The Demon King’s subordinates, perhaps?’ Cain mused silently, contemplating possible connections.
He didn’t dwell on the thought for long, though.
Turning his focus to the walls, he saw intricate carvings depicting battles-an attempt to record long-forgotten campaigns.
The Demon King’s Castle was supposed to be a remnant dated before the Great War that had faded from the annals of history, so any details of those battles could have been invaluable.
Unfortunately, the walls were shattered and eroded, making it impossible to glean any useful information.
Frustration flickered across Cain’s face, but he quickly pushed it aside and continued looking around. The path beneath them was paved with crimson marble, polished to a mirror-like sheen despite the cracks running through it-a silent testament to the castle’s former glory and the relentless passage of time.
The corridor stretched for what seemed like countless kilometers, and even with his enhanced vision, Cain could not see its end.
A sense of unease settled over him.
Something was wrong.
Turning to Eldrick and the other Ancient Dragons, he voiced his concern.
“Do any of you see an exit?” Cain asked, his deep voice echoing through the silent hall.
The dragons exchanged worried glances.
Their eyes widened as they scanned their surroundings more carefully.
Indeed, there was no visible exit.
Above them, there was no crack in space like the one that had brought them here-just a massive, shadowy ceiling.
The realization sent a ripple of tension through the group.

The saintesses and angels had come to the same conclusion.
Murmurs of concern spread among them as they recognized the potential gravity of their situation.
Being trapped in an unknown, possibly hostile environment was far from ideal.
One individual, however, seemed entirely unfazed by the lack of an exit-Helios.
His eyes were fixed solely on the path ahead, everything else seemingly fading from his awareness.
His golden aura pulsed subtly, betraying a sense of eagerness.
A deep frown etched itself onto Cain’s face.
No matter how enticing the treasures of this place might be, he was acutely aware of the dangers posed by the Depravita race.
Being locked inside the castle of one whose power he could not even begin to comprehend was far from comforting.
A sharp light ignited in the scarlet dragon’s eyes as he turned toward Meylin.
Since she had known the entrance to the Demon King’s Castle, perhaps she also knew how to exit.
Before he could speak, Meylin met his gaze.
Her silver and gold eyes were steady, reflecting understanding and resolve.
“I have no idea where the exit is,” she stated calmly, her voice carrying across the hall.
“When it comes to the interior of the Demon King’s Castle, we know as much as you do.” Her admission hung in the air, making it clear they were all in the same predicament.
Cain regarded her for a moment, sensing her honesty, he nodded.
However, that did not solve the problem at hand.
“We could find the exit while searching for the treasures the castle holds for us,” Helios interjected, his voice dripping with disdain.
“Or are the dragons too afraid to move through unknown territory?” His words echoed mockingly through the hall, eliciting glares from the dragons.
Cain glanced at the young angel, a flash of killing intent flickering in his crimson eyes.
His claws flexed subtly, but he restrained himself, merely sneering before turning back to his companions.
No matter how much he desired Helios’s demise, the angel’s words held a kernel of truth.
With no exit in sight, their best course of action was to explore the castle.
Eldrick stepped forward, his obsidian scales reflecting the faint light.
“We will follow your guide,” he affirmed, his voice steady.
Zalgrim and the other Ancient Dragons nodded in agreement, their expressions resolute.
Meylin observed the dragons’ and angels’ readiness to move forward.
She glanced at her fellow saintesses and gave a determined nod.
“Let us proceed,” she said, her tone firm yet calm.
As the combined groups began to advance, the atmosphere grew tense.
The silence of the hall was broken only by the echo of the distant creaking of ancient stone.
Shadows danced along the walls, cast by an unseen light source, giving the impression that the sculptures and statues were shifting ever so slightly.
Cain led the dragons.
His senses were on high alert, and the Eye of Gluttony was active as he scanned for signs of danger or hidden traps.
“Stay close and stay vigilant,” he instructed his comrades.
“We have no idea what lies ahead.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Redsunworld Schedule: 4/14 (+7) Previous week: 611 power stones Power stone ranking: +600: 7 plus chapters a week +800: 10 plus chapters a week +1000: 12 plus chapters a week Discord channel: https://discord.gg/R666sNEdrU
