The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1218
Chapter 1218: True Void Eclipse Guards (II) Chapter 1218: True Void Eclipse Guards (II) The dragons, angels, and saintesses halted, adopting solemn expressions as they peered into the darkness ahead and saw three sets of red eyes.
Cain’s eyes widened slightly, his muscles tensing.
The creatures radiated an overwhelming presence-one that surpassed even the strongest beings he had encountered in the Primeval World.
It did not take long for the creatures to finally shed away the darkness, revealing their horrifying and monstrously powerful figures to the group.
What the angels, dragons, and saintesses saw before them were abominations, a twisted fusion of flesh and stone-a grotesque amalgamation that merged sinew and rock-like structures.
Dark cables or tendrils snaked out of their bodies, writhing and falling to the ground like the roots of some malevolent tree.
The surfaces of their bodies appeared cracked and rough, with glowing red fissures scattered across their figures, hinting at some kind of internal energy or life force. Cain’s eyes sharpened as he took in the sight.
It was as if he were gazing at monstrous, organic golems or flesh constructs animated by a dark power.
The mere appearance of these creatures was horrifying enough, but when he activated his Eye of Gluttony, the revelation was even more alarming.
Their power levels were terrifying-each of the monsters possessed energy superior to Grand Elder Kryos, an Early Immortal Dragon with Void Eclipse cultivation base!
As the creatures focused on the angels, dragons, and saintesses, their eyes glowed ominously.
Then, in unison, they spoke with voices devoid of emotion.
“Foreign life forms, state your authorization codes.
Now.” Their robotic tones echoed through the hall, the lack of emotion hinting at a complete absence of wisdom or mercy.
They had a purpose, and nothing else mattered.
Cain glanced at Meylin, hope flickering that perhaps she held the key to avoiding a confrontation.
But the woman shook her head, her violet hair swaying gently.
It was clear that she did not have any authorization codes to enter a castle that had been sealed millions of years ago.
Helios was the same, his golden eyes narrowing as he found no response to the monsters.
Silence hung heavily in the air, lasting only a few heartbeats before the giant flesh constructs spoke again.
“Failure to show authorization code.
Eliminate.” Immediately after those words left their mouths, the energy within them burst forth, and the Flesh Constructs attacked.
Each one moved toward a single group with startling speed.
Despite their massive forms, they were upon their targets in an instant. Their first focus was the strongest of each group-the leaders who held the positions of authority.
For the Moon Cult, it was Meylin; for the Sun Church, it was Helios; and for the Tiamat Sect, it was none other than the scarlet dragon.
Cain’s eyes widened as he saw a massive arm, larger than his entire body, lunging toward him with power and momentum capable of leveling a mountain range.
If it were to land on him point-blank, it would shatter every bone in his body.
Instincts honed by countless battles kicked in.
“Yin-Yang Fire Lightning Dragon Breath!” He unleashed a torrent of twisting fire and lightning that crashed into the massive fleshy and rocky hand.
An explosion spread in all directions, the force rattling the hall.

But despite the immense power behind his dragon breath, it was not enough.
The hand pushed through the attack, but its momentum was diminished.
The colossal palm struck Cain squarely, sending him hurtling toward the ground like a meteorite.
He crashed with a deafening impact, the ground cracking beneath him.
“Cain!” Eldrick shouted, shock and panic rising in his obsidian eyes.
Similar expressions were mirrored on the faces of all the other dragons.
The blow was truly terrifying, and for a moment, fear gripped them since it could have killed most of them.
But before the dust could even settle, Cain’s voice echoed powerfully.
“Fight!” It was a single word, but it resonated with unwavering determination, igniting a fire within the Ancient Dragons.
They shook off their hesitation, their energies exploding as they faced the terrifying enemy.
Dragon breaths of various elements and all sorts of draconic abilities and spells were unleashed upon the massive flesh construct.
Their combined attacks hindered its movements, ensuring it could not build up momentum again-a necessary tactic, given the destructive potential of a single strike.
Meanwhile, the saintesses of the Moon Cult had formed a defensive formation around Meylin.
Their swords glowed with moonforce as they chanted incantations, sending arcs of silvery light toward their assailant.
Meylin stood at the center, her eyes focused and calm, directing their collective efforts.
Helios, on the other hand, met his attacker with a cocky grin, pure confidence in his eyes as his wings flared as he ascended.
Golden light radiated from him as he summoned a spear of pure sunlight, hurling it toward the construct with lethal precision.
The dust was settling on the ground, revealing Cain’s form.
He was severely wounded; scales were cracked, and blood seeped from gashes along his body.
Some bones were broken, yet he was in far better condition than he should have been, given the monstrous strength behind that blow.
Several factors contributed to his survival.
His dragon breath had diminished the palm’s momentum, and right before the impact, he had used Weight Manipulation to reduce his weight and mass as much as possible, thereby experiencing less force when struck. Cain gritted his teeth, the pain sharp but manageable.
His scarlet eyes grew sharper as he observed the battle between the Ancient Dragons and the massive Flesh Construct.
While they currently had the upper hand, it would only take one wrong move for disaster to strike.
Summoning all his strength, Cain made his scarlet flames explode in power, flowing through the areas where bones were broken and flesh was missing.
He pushed the power of Scarlet Reaper to its limit in order to heal as quickly as possible.
Before entering the Primeval World, such wounds would have taken nearly an hour to heal completely, but with the Depravita Essence flowing into his True Name, it would now take only a few minutes.
