The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1274
Chapter 1274: The Incarnation of Death and Destruction Chapter 1274: The Incarnation of Death and Destruction Cain, Meylin, and Helios watched in awe as the constellations and starlight coalesced to forge a new world before their eyes.
The celestial display expanded rapidly, revealing a simple old man standing alone.
The voice of the Demon King echoed through the vastness: “At the beginning, a simple human lived a normal life, just like the other billions of people inhabiting that planet.
His days ended, and while his soul was supposed to be brought into the cycle of life and death-melted to form new life-a mistake happened.” The starlight projection moved forward, depicting the soul of the old man reaching a massive river, ready to be assimilated and marking the end of his existence.
But suddenly, he was yanked out by a dark and obscure force.
He was not alone; billions of other souls suffered the same fate, plucked from the cycle of life and death and brought into a colossal realm-a place so gargantuan that calling it a small universe would not be a mistake.
Cain could see hundreds of layers forging that dark, ominous, and chaotic place within the starry projection.
There was only one word he could use to describe it.
“Abyss,” he whispered.
“Through a flaw in his universe,” the Demon King’s voice continued, “this man was plunged into a demonic plane-a place where chaotic and corrupted souls land to become slaves of the great powerhouses that inhabit that realm.
He was forced into the Infinite Layers of the Abyss!” As the Demon King’s words resonated, the trio saw the soul of the man twisting, taking physical form thanks to the power of the abyssal plane.
His entire body mutated into a disgusting monstrosity-limbs elongated, skin turned a sickly hue, and eyes glowed with an otherworldly light.
“However, while his fate and destiny dictated he should bow to others, becoming cannon fodder until his existence faded, this man was the type to defy the rules of the universe!” The starry projection shifted, now illustrating the mutated demon facing all sorts of enemies.
Hordes of grotesque monsters lunged at him-beasts with gnashing teeth, demons wielding fiery swords, and abominations that defied description. In the first confrontation, a colossal beast towered over him, its multiple heads snapping hungrily.
The mutated demon, despite his grotesque form, moved with surprising agility.
He dodged the beast’s attacks, leaping onto one of its heads and driving a makeshift weapon into its skull.
The beast roared in pain before collapsing, its massive body shaking the ground.
With each enemy he defeated, the demon consumed their essence, absorbing their strength and abilities.
His form began to evolve-spines protruded from his back, his muscles bulged, and his wings sprouted, granting him the power of flight.
He ventured deeper into the Abyss, where the challenges grew more daunting.
He faced a legion of shadow demons whose very touch could drain life.
Using his newfound wings, he soared above them, raining down dark energy that he had harnessed from previous foes.
The shadows dissipated under his assault, and he descended upon their remnants, absorbing yet more power.
The projection showed him battling through fiery chasms, icy wastelands, and realms where reality itself seemed unstable.
He confronted demon lords with armies at their command.
In one epic clash, he stood alone against an entire battalion, the sky darkened by their numbers.
Unfazed, he unleashed a torrent of dark flames, incinerating them.
Each victory led to greater challenges.
Monsters that once seemed invincible fell before him.
His evolution continued-horns curved menacingly atop his head, his eyes burned like embers, and his aura became suffocatingly powerful.

Finally, after a myriad of battles and overwhelming bloodshed, the figure that appeared before Cain, Meylin, and Helios was no longer a mutated monster destined for slavery.
He had become a majestic being cloaked in shadows, red eyes piercing through the darkness.
His presence was overwhelming, and his power seemed to bend the very laws of reality.
“After countless deaths and bloodshed that could drown entire worlds, he took his first title,” the Demon King’s voice boomed.
“Becoming the Incarnation of Death and Destruction!” The sheer force of the Demon King’s proclamation made the trio tremble, but they barely registered it.
None of them-not even Helios-could hide their awe and admiration for such an overwhelmingly powerful entity.
Rising from the lowest possible rank to the highest realm of power in that demonic plane was a feat beyond comprehension.
Cain felt a mix of emotions.
While his own journey had a low starting point, he had been part of a massive human empire and had friends and allies to support him when he was weak.
However, this old man had been completely alone.
In that demonic plane, the word “friend” did not exist.
He had fought alone, every second fraught with danger.
The scarlet dragon could not even imagine how someone could survive such an environment, much less rise to its peak.
“For many of the powerhouses of the demonic plane, rising to its peak was the highest achievement,” the Demon King’s voice echoed once more.
“But not for the Incarnation of Death and Destruction.” The starry projection drew Cain’s attention back as he saw the Incarnation raising an army-one so huge that he could not even count it.
Despite being a mere image, he could see creatures so massive and whose auras were so powerful that they could compare with Grand Elder Bahamut, the leader of the Tiamat Sect.
And there were hundreds of them!
Just as Cain, Meylin, and Helios were wondering where the Incarnation of Death and Destruction was leading such a massive army, they saw the shadowy figure directing them to march across a colossal black river.
This river extended across the void of space, connecting with a devilish plane.
“The Incarnation of Death and Destruction led his army through the Styx River into the territory of the demons’ eternal enemies-the devils of the Nine Hells.” The demonic army marched across the black river, their footsteps shaking the very fabric of space.
As they advanced, they generated an overwhelming onslaught, killing everything in their path!
