The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1291
Chapter 1291: Cain’s new body Chapter 1291: Cain’s new body Helios’s face displayed a broad, triumphant smile as he sent Meylin flying away, her body battered and blood spewing from her mouth.
She crashed into the floor, struggling to breathe as pain wracked her entire being.
The seven-winged Archangel hovered above, ready to deliver the final blow to the young woman who dared to defy him.
His radiant sword glowed, and just as he raised it to strike, an explosion echoed in the distance, causing his entire body to freeze mid-motion.
Shock and awe appeared in the eyes of the seven-winged Archangel as he turned toward the explosion’s origin.
A torrent of purple flames had erupted from Cain’s body.
The scarlet dragon was supposed to be dead-his brain and hearts destroyed-yet Helios watched with disbelief as those mysterious flames regenerated Cain’s chest and mended the wounds on his head.
The flames even consumed Helios’s flaming spear, seemingly using it as fuel.
This display of power was on a level Helios could not even fathom.
He wasn’t the only one caught by surprise.
Meylin looked at the scene with wide eyes, confusion etched on her face but soon replaced by overwhelming joy.
She had no idea what was happening, but she could see Cain’s soul and life force reigniting under the power of the dark purple flames.
That wasn’t all; it seemed the purple flames were reforging the scarlet dragon’s body, making it even stronger.
Someone else in the hall was equally shocked by the sight of those purple flames-the Demon King.
He had been using all his strength to fight back the shadowy restraints that bound him, but he couldn’t help but glance toward the purple flames with pure awe and a hint of devotion.
Unlike Helios and Meylin, he recognized the nature of those flames and understood what was happening.
“Neo-Demon,” the Demon King uttered, his voice filled with delight and amazement.
His entire existence trembled as he watched something as impressive and majestic as his own transformation into a Prima Depravita. Meylin and Helios heard that term, and they knew the kind of being the Demon King was referring to.
Shock arose in their hearts, and they could barely believe that Cain was transforming into a member of that Supreme Race right before their eyes.
Meylin’s heart swelled with happiness, a radiant smile spreading across her bruised face.
Helios, however, felt his entire being tremble with rage and envy.
“Impossible!
That should be me!” the seven-winged Archangel screamed, his voice echoing through the devastated hall.
The overwhelming envy was more than he could endure.
He raised his radiant sword, a torrent of flames rising as his aura flared violently.
Before he could unleash his attack toward Cain, a sea of violet, golden, and purple sword shards came crashing down on him, forcing him to redirect his focus. Helios waved his weapon to the side, blasting away the sword shards with arcs of searing white flames.
He generated a powerful blast that sent Meylin flying away like a ragdoll, new burning wounds appearing all over her body as she tumbled across the debris-laden floor.
He showed no pity toward the young woman as he raised his radiant sword once more.
“Die already, you bit-” Helios couldn’t finish his sentence.
In the next instant, a fist appeared next to his face, landing with such immense strength that it sent him flying sideways.

The impact was thunderous, reverberating through the hall.
The seven-winged Archangel’s brain trembled under the power of that blow.
Stars exploded in his vision, and a dark flash dove toward him before he could recover.
Two claws clashed into his chest, gripping him with iron-like force and pulling him down toward the ground.
They crashed with such might that the air was knocked from Helios’s lungs, and a mouthful of blood spewed from his lips.
Helios’s vision blurred, but the pain was far from over.
A dark tail struck him on the jaw, sending him rolling through the broken ground.
He felt his jaw nearly shatter under the force of the strike.
The taste of blood filled his mouth, and his thoughts became muddled.
Yet, things were far from over.
He sensed the dark entity dashing toward him again, intent on continuing the onslaught.
“Enough!” Helios shouted, forcefully regaining control over his body.
A massive explosion of white flames emerged from him, forming a protective barrier and pushing the dark entity back.
The sudden flare of light and heat seared the air, momentarily halting the relentless assault.
Finally, the seven-winged Archangel got a good sight of the one who had been beating him to a pulp.
In front of Helios stood an imposing figure.
Though only five meters tall-nothing compared to the massive one-hundred-meter height of Cain’s previous Dragon Hybrid Body-the power coursing through this being’s flesh and blood was immeasurably higher.
The figure’s head had a sleek, angular shape with sharp, dragon-like features.
His face was shrouded in darkness, only the fiery, intense eyes glowing ominously, piercing through the shadows.
His body was covered in a jagged, obsidian-like exoskeleton.
This dark armor had intricate, angular ridges that emphasized his muscular form, enhancing his physique and giving him a war-ready appearance.
Glowing magma cracks ran across his chest and torso, pulsing with red light as if molten lava flowed through his veins.
His core, in particular, was marked by a central magma line that ran down his chest like a smoldering scar, emanating heat and raw power.
His arms were thick and heavily armored, with spiked protrusions along the forearms.
His hands ended in sharp claws, long and lethal, ready to tear or crush anything in his path. His wings were enormous, bat-like, and covered in a translucent membrane lined with glowing magma veins.
The edges of the wings were jagged, resembling obsidian shards, and they stretched out on either side like dark sentinels.
Behind him extended a long, flexible tail, armored with similar obsidian scales and lined with glowing magma veins, swaying slowly but menacingly.
The only way to describe that body was that of a weapon of destruction-every inch forged with the goal to destroy or kill anything that stood in his path.
