The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1299
Chapter 1299: Level 30 Chapter 1299: Level 30 Eight months had passed since the dark whirlpool atop the Eye of Gluttony began devouring more and more pieces of the Sun Lord’s incarnation.
The process had been slow and meticulous, with the Demon King’s soul force carefully guiding the assimilation to ensure everything proceeded smoothly.
Finally, the stream of energy ceased, and the Demon King’s soul force carefully withdrew from Cain’s black hole.
The Neo-Demon opened his eyes, and a cold, brutal, and envious light flickered within them-mirroring the gaze that Helios had often shown.
Though many of the memories he had absorbed were fractured, and there were massive time lapses between them, Cain had still attained hundreds of thousands of years of knowledge implanted directly into his mind.
He could feel every sensation the Sun Lord had perceived during those times-the victories, the defeats, the moments of profound insight.
For a brief moment, a sense of confusion washed over him.
The flood of memories and emotions threatened to overwhelm his own identity.
But immediately, the Power of Order came crashing down within his soul, stabilizing his thoughts and shutting down all doubts.
Cain’s ego reasserted itself, regaining focus and clarity.
“Amazing,” the Demon King remarked, unable to hide his impression of Cain’s resilience.
He had expected the young man to remain disoriented for at least a couple of weeks, yet it had taken him but thirty seconds to regain control.
Cain offered a small smile upon hearing the Demon King’s praise.
He clasped his hands together and performed a respectful bow.
“Thank you for your help.
I have gained a lot.” “Hahaha, don’t worry about it,” the Demon King replied with a hearty laugh.
“Family is supposed to help each other.” Cain nodded appreciatively, a grand smile spreading across his face.
He then turned his gaze toward the black cocoon that still hovered nearby.
His eyes grew sharp as he noticed that there was still a fragment of the Sun Lord left within it. The Demon King noticed Cain’s inquisitive look and his left eye grew cold as he spoke.
“Losing this incarnation will harm the Sun Lord, but it will be just a small wound.
So there is no way I will be satisfied with that.
I intend to use that fragment of his soul to send a curse the moment I can utilize the full might of my power.” Cain could see that the Demon King was not going to let the Sun Lord escape unscathed.
The enmity between them ran deep, and he understood that this was all for the best.
After all, he and the Sun Lord were now irrevocably enemies.
Shifting his attention, Cain turned his gaze toward Meylin.
She was still seated in meditation, and her training was incomplete.
However, there were already noticeable changes in the young woman.
Her once vibrant violet hair had turned jet black, cascading over her shoulders like a dark waterfall.
Golden runes, flowing with Depravita Essence, glowed softly across her skin, tracing intricate patterns that seemed alive with energy.
Her eyes resembled the starry night sky-deep, infinite, and mesmerizing.

Yet, despite her eyes being open, it was clear she was not conscious.
She seemed to be in a deep trance, causing a small frown to appear on Cain’s face.
He understood that becoming a Prima Depravita must not be easy and couldn’t help but worry about her well-being.
The transformation she was undergoing was profound, and the risks were significant.
Noticing the concern in the Neo-Demon’s eyes, the Demon King decided to ease his worries.
“The young woman has already managed to assimilate her Core Sin and establish her foundation,” he explained calmly.
“She is currently in the process of taking control over her nature and sins.
The dangerous part has already passed.
It is now just a matter of time before she completes the first phase of her training and wakes up.” A smile of relief arose on Cain’s face as he heard this.
He relaxed, the tension easing from his shoulders.
A reflective light appeared in his eyes as he contemplated the situation.
Since there was not much he could do other than wait, it was the perfect time to get a clear view of his own powers.
Closing his eyes once more, he turned his focus inward.
Immediately, the first thing that drew his attention was his black hole-the core of his being, representing his soul and power.
It was now much, much greater than before.
After a few moments of observation, Cain couldn’t help but smile upon realizing that he had managed to reach Level 30!
There were many reasons for this massive upgrade in his Level System, but the most important was the consumption of the Sun Lord’s soul force.
Not only had he obtained a massive amount of spirit force, but he had also gained deep insight into the Oniric Truth that the Sun Lord had mastered, allowing for the expansion of his own soul.
“Dominion,” he whispered to himself.
That word echoed in Cain’s mind as he reflected on the power of the Sun Lord.
Dominion-that was the name of the Oniric Truth that the Sun Lord had mastered, allowing him to rise to the height of a Prima Deity, a Third Realm life form.
It was an extremely powerful and useful Oniric Truth, especially for those who sought to control others.
In terms of conquering and subjugation, it could stand even higher than the Oniric Truth of Gluttony.
Of course, unlike the Oniric Truth of Gluttony, Dominion lacked the power to help others grow through consuming and assimilation.
So, calling one better than the other would be a mistake.
Each had its own strengths and applications.
Cain delved deeper into the memories and insights he had gained.
He could feel the essence of Dominion within him-the ability to exert his will over others, to influence and command.
After examining his black hole, Cain turned his gaze to his Dragon Sinful Heart.
A small smile arose as he observed that its power had broken beyond the limits of an Ancient Dragon, reaching the ranks of an Immortal Dragon.
This change happened during his resurrection, as the samsara flames regenerated the Dragon Sinful Heart even stronger than before.
The heart pulsed with vibrant energy, bursting lightning and fire emanating from it. Moving his focus to the last addition to his arsenal, Cain contemplated the Neo-Demon Core. CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Redsunworld Check Meylin’s new appearance in the comments
