The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1301
Chapter 1301: Path to the Third Realm (I) Chapter 1301: Path to the Third Realm (I) The decrepit old man hovered in the air for a moment, suspended above the vast expanse of the massive hall.
Slowly, he opened his mouth and took a deep breath that resonated with an otherworldly force.
As he inhaled, all the wild and chaotic energy within the hall began to swirl and converge, drawn inexorably into his body like a vortex consuming everything in its path.
This initial intake was just the beginning.
The devouring power emanating from the old man grew exponentially stronger with each passing second.
The very air trembled as more and more energy flooded into him.
His presence became a black hole of sorts, pulling in not just the ambient energies but reaching far beyond the confines of the hall.
Cain and Meylin stood on the ground below, watching in stunned silence.
They were not affected by the suction-some invisible barrier protected them-but they could not hide the shock and awe in their eyes.
Their gazes were fixed upon the old man as they witnessed the impossible: the devouring power seemed to be crossing dimensions. They saw buildings crumbling into dust, monstrous creatures being drawn in against their will, and even oceans of blood from the different levels of the Demon King’s castle ascending into the air.
All of it was being absorbed into the old man’s body, consumed to restore his power, energy, and vitality.
“Is this really happening?” Meylin whispered, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of destruction.
“It seems so,” Cain replied, his eyes never leaving the spectacle above.
“He’s pulling in everything.” It took only a few minutes, but it felt like an eternity.
Everything within the eight levels of the Demon King’s castle was eventually consumed.
The grand structures, the fearsome monsters, the rivers of crimson-all ended up inside the old man’s body. The transformation was astonishing.
His previously decrepit form was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, hovering in the air was an old man with a muscular and powerful physique.
Every inch of his body seemed ready for battle, muscles rippling beneath rejuvenated skin.
His eyes gleamed with a newfound vitality, and an aura of overwhelming strength radiated from him.
The Demon King gazed down at his restored body, flexing his fingers and rotating his wrists as if reacquainting himself with physical sensation.
A wide smile appeared on his face, and suddenly, he burst into laughter.
“Hahahahaha!
Finally!” his voice boomed, echoing throughout the now-empty hall.
“I had forgotten how good it felt to be able to move my body!” The laughter was hearty and genuine-a stark contrast to the eerie silence that had preceded it.
Cain and Meylin exchanged glances, a mixture of relief and unease settling over them.
They gazed at him from a distance, their expressions a blend of shock and confusion.
Cain, in particular, seemed taken aback by the drastic change.
Noticing their reactions, the Demon King turned his attention to them.
“Haha, brat,” he called out to Cain, a teasing tone in his voice.

“Did you expect to see an ancient and deformed monster?” Cain couldn’t help but show a rueful smile as he responded.
“To tell the truth, yes,” he admitted.
“All the Depravitas I’ve seen were extremely hideous and resembled monsters in every sense of the word.” The Demon King chuckled, shaking his head slowly.
“My old body was indeed monstrous,” he acknowledged.
“But Prima Depravitas are different.
Like the Forefather, most of us have humanoid bodies reflecting the peaceful state of our souls and minds.” Meylin tilted her head slightly, curiosity evident in her eyes.
“The peaceful state of your souls?” she echoed softly.
He nodded, his gaze momentarily distant.
“A Prima Depravita’s true form is a reflection of his inner self.” “Anyway,” the Demon King continued, snapping them out of their thoughts.
“Enough chit-chat.
We don’t have much time left.
You will soon be expelled from the Primeval World, and I cannot follow you.” Cain and Meylin couldn’t help but frown upon hearing this revelation.
Clearly, the bindings that had held the Demon King in place were broken-he could move freely now.
They both doubted that someone so powerful couldn’t forcefully make his way out of the Primeval World if he wished.
The Demon King noticed the confusion and doubts swirling in their minds.
He descended gracefully from the air until he stood directly before them.
His eyes were sharp, and his voice took on a solemn tone.
“To understand why I cannot follow you,” he began, “you must first understand the nature of the Crimson World.” At the mention of the Crimson World, a spark of wonder ignited in the eyes of both Cain and Meylin.
They remained silent, their full attention locked onto the Demon King, eager to absorb any knowledge he would share.
“First of all,” he said, gesturing expansively, “while we call it the Crimson World, it is in reality a massive super-universe, with many realms stacked one on top of the other, forming a colossal tower.” He paused briefly, ensuring they were following.
Both nodded, their faces reflecting intense interest.
“The Helix Continent you reside in is located in the First Realm of the Crimson World,” he continued.
“It was once a realm teeming with life and brimming with great powers.
But during the Great War, it was shattered to pieces-the principles and energy within it were broken and wasted.
After millions of years, it began to heal, but in order to avoid further damage, the World Will forbids the presence of any Third Realm life forms within it.” “World Will?” Meylin asked with curiosity.
“Yes,” the Demon King affirmed.
“An embodiment of the world’s consciousness, its natural laws.
It seeks to protect itself from further harm.” Enlightenment dawned in the eyes of Cain and Meylin as they processed his words.
They now understood why the Demon King could not accompany them beyond the Primeval World.
Even though he was an extremely powerful individual capable of expressing his mind and will across dimensions, the Crimson World’s Will was an even more formidable force.
“So, once I leave the Primeval World, I will be sent directly into the Second Realm of the Crimson World?
Before I depart, I will make sure to set you on the path to the Third Realm.” Hearing those words, the Neo-Demon and Prima Depravita’s eyes glowed with excitement and thrill.
Third Realm life forms were those who earned the title of Prima Deity-entities that could crush Void Eclipse Legends with a wave of their hands.
Becoming one of them was considered the ultimate goal of every cultivator on the Helix Continent.
“Becoming a Prima Deity…” Cain whispered.
The very idea filled him with a mix of ambition and thrill.
