Chapter 1302: Path to the Third Realm (II) Chapter 1302: Path to the Third Realm (II) The Demon King observed their reactions, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.

“Your talent and potential are already enough to allow you to reach the Third Realm,” he stated confidently.

“But following the normal path would take hundreds, thousands, or maybe even tens of thousands of years.” The first part of his statement filled Cain and Meylin with hopeful smiles.

However, the second part was like a bucket of cold water, bringing them back to reality.

Cain and Meylin had taken a very short amount of time to reach their current level-less than thirty-five years-but they did not delude themselves into thinking that the path ahead would be linear.

After all, there had not been an instance of a Void Eclipse life form reaching the Third Realm in the Helix Continent in the last five hundred thousand years, making it clear how hard the path forward was.

“The truth is that to become a Prima Deity is not only extremely difficult,” the Demon King continued, “but due to the wounds that the Crimson World’s First Realm has suffered, the path could be considered crippled.

However, while that is a problem, there is also a chance for you two, shortening the time needed to only a few decades and even improving your talent and potential in the process.” Cain and Meylin’s eyes glowed as they heard that, their souls burning with desire.

The idea of rising to the Third Realm so quickly was incredibly enticing.

A few decades seemed like a mere blink compared to the millennia it would ordinarily take.

The Demon King smiled at the duo, not leaving them in suspense any longer.

“The path I am talking about is by gaining the favor of the Crimson World Will,” he explained.

“To do that, you must unify the broken pieces of the Crimson World’s First Realm, forging the continent back into a single massive landmass, returning the realm to its original form and glory.” Cain and Meylin exchanged incredulous glances.

They did not know whether to laugh or cry as they heard the words of the Demon King.

Maybe for someone with the Demon King’s power, placing back continents was doable, but it was definitely not a task the Neo-Demon and Prima Depravita could achieve, even in their wildest dreams.  After all, just the Helix Continent was hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of times larger than Aether!

How were they supposed to move something like that?

“Hahaha,” the Demon King couldn’t help but laugh as he saw their reactions, softly shaking his head.

“Of course, you would not be actually forging the continent back together yourselves.

According to my understanding, that process is already happening under the guidance of the World Will, but you can speed things up.” “Exactly what do you expect us to do?” Cain asked, already getting frustrated.

It was clear that the Demon King was taking the chance to bother and mess with them a little.

The Demon King just chuckled before adopting a more solemn expression.

“Okay, okay.

First of all, my understanding of the First Realm of the Crimson World is limited since I was locked away before the Great War ended, and my perception can only glimpse at its principles and rules.

So I cannot say for certain how many continents there are, but there are definitely not more than ten.” “Actually, there are a total of nine,” Cain’s voice interrupted the Demon King, causing a sharp light to appear in the latter’s eyes before a wide smile spread across his face.

“I see, so the Sun Lord’s memories carried that information,” the Demon King mused.

Being very old and wise, he immediately figured out how Cain would know that.

“That would make things even easier,” the Demon King continued.

“What you need to do is visit each of them, take control, and then plant one of these.” He waved his hand, and what appeared was a dark seed the size of an apple.

Cain and Meylin glanced at the seed and could feel it was extremely special, emanating a subtle yet powerful energy.

“This is a Dark Root,” the Demon King explained.

“Once planted, it will grow into a Dark Tree.

They are unique life forms whose roots would extend across the entire landmass.

If two landmasses have a Dark Tree in them, they will move toward each other.

During the Great War, Dark Trees were used to weaponize planets and moons, but it will work for this purpose as well.” After giving that mind-blowing description, the Demon King waved his hand and stored ten seeds in a space ring, which he then sent to Meylin.

The young woman grabbed it carefully, a flash of dread rising in her eyes as she realized she now held weapons that were used to move planets!  Cain also gazed at the space ring with caution, but to tell the truth, the idea of using planets as weapons was something that truly lit up his eyes.

The possibilities were endless, and his mind raced with thoughts of the power these Dark Roots could unleash.

However, he quickly refocused, understanding there was another very important topic they had yet to figure out.

“Let me get this straight,” Cain said, turning toward the Demon King.

“As long as we plant the Dark Root and help the Dark Tree grow, we can speed up the rejoining process of the continents.

However, how are we supposed to reach the other continents?” Thanks to the Sun Lord’s memories, Cain knew not only the names but also the locations of the other continents, and they were so far away that even a Void Eclipse powerhouse would require hundreds of years of non-stop flight to reach them.

The distances were astronomical, and conventional means of travel would be impractical.

The Demon King smiled as he heard Cain’s question and extended his arms.

“Easy,” he said confidently, “I will give you my castle.

With it, reaching each of those continents would be no problem.”
