The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1322
Chapter 1322: Cain vs Archangel Michael Chapter 1322: Cain vs Archangel Michael All the evolution in Cain’s Paths of Power was already terrific news, but there was something else that his ascension to the Void Eclipse Rank granted him.
There was a force that Cain had used in Aether, a power that had aided him from a very young age and continued to help him even as he led a war for the fate of his world.
He had lost access to that power after arriving in the Crimson World, and Cain did not know when or if he would get it back.
But now that his soul force was strong enough to perceive the core principles of reality, he was able to harmonize with them and align himself to their frequencies once more.
In Cain’s golden eyes, the imposing spear that seemed capable of sundering a continent was no different from an arrow crossing the air.
Under the shocked gaze of all the dragons, saintesses, and angels, Cain stretched his right hand forward, and a mantle of dark purple aura covered his palm.
It seemed as though he intended to meet that imposing spear-a weapon that could kill Void Eclipse powerhouses-with his bare hand!
“The Flow.” Those two words came out from the dark dragon’s mouth, and then, under the sight of everybody, Cain’s palm touched the tip of the spear.
Cain’s senses expanded, and every particle of energy and fluctuation in the atmosphere became clear to him.
The Flow allowed him to harmonize with all things, sensing the physical and energy frequencies emitted by his opponent’s attack.
He could feel the spear’s trajectory, its momentum, and the violent energy it carried.
At the very last moment, Cain shifted his weight subtly, his body moving with fluid grace.
His right hand met the spear’s tip, not with force, but with a gentle touch that redirected its path.
Using the spear’s own momentum, he guided it along a circular arc, his body spinning in harmony with the weapon.
His movements displayed great martial skill.
Cain’s rotation accelerated, and with a final twist, he completed a full 360-degree turn.
Now under his control, the spear hurtled back toward its sender with even greater speed than before!
“What!?” Archangel Michael could not help but shout as he saw something impossible.
His eyes widened in disbelief, but that did not stop the spear from crashing into his own body.
The weapon he had forged with his vitality and wrath was now his undoing.
A massive explosion of white flames erupted upon impact, engulfing the sky in a blinding light.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!” The explosion made the entire Blazing Wastes tremble.
Shockwaves rippled outward, shaking the very foundations of the earth.
The sky was painted with swirling white flames, and for a moment, it seemed as though a second sun had ignited in the heavens.
Silence reigned in the aftermath as everybody gazed at the young dark dragon with shock and awe.
His talent was already supernatural, but there were all sorts of wonders in the universe, so they could accept it.
However, that last move was simply too much-it defied reason.
Even after seeing it with their own eyes, they could not understand how the dark dragon had literally taken the Archangel’s strongest attack and sent it back.
Cain did not utter a word.
The power of The Flow was something engraved in his soul.

It was not something he could easily share.
Moreover, the battle had yet to finish.
As the flames in the sky gradually dissipated, they revealed Michael.
The Archangel’s body was marred with burning wounds, his once radiant armor now charred and cracked.
It was clear that the flaming spear had harmed him severely.
Yet, his vitality was still burning with power, and his eyes were full of killing intent.
“I will handle him.
You three focus on the rest of the battlefield and end this war,” Cain’s voice was sharp and decisive as his energy exploded.
His muscles bulged, and a new set of wings emerged from his back as he entered his Doomsday Incarnation.
Dark scales covered his body, and his aura intensified, making him appear like a demonic shooting star as he flashed toward the Archangel.
Bahamut and Lady Alune glanced at Cain’s flashing figure before nodding in unison.
They turned and dove toward the Void Eclipse powerhouses of the Sun Church, their own energies surging as they prepared to lead their forces.
Meylin’s eyes lingered on the dark dragon for a moment.
A mix of concern and admiration flickered in her gaze before decisiveness arose.
She dashed downward, her Depravita Aura bursting with overwhelming power as she joined the fray below.
Cain’s eyes were cold and focused as the golden glow of The Flow burst within them.
All his attention was centered on the mad Archangel, now diving toward him with a radiant sword of flames. Michael’s flaming sword came lashing toward his head, a strike meant to cleave him in two.
Cain pushed his hand forward, his claws striking the edge of the sword.
Instead of meeting force with force, he redirected the blade’s trajectory, pushing the weapon to the side.
The motion was smooth, almost effortless, as he guided the sword past him.
With Michael momentarily off-balance, Cain seized the opportunity to land a ferocious blow straight into the Archangel’s chest.
His fist connected with a resounding impact, the force amplified by his Oniric Truth of Destruction and Reaper Touch.
Michael felt every muscle in his body clench, and his breath was knocked out of him.
But there was no time to recover.
Cain’s claw slashed toward Michael’s neck, the power of the Oniric Truth of Destruction and Reaper’s Touch cloaking it.
Even a small cut from such an attack could be deadly, capable of severing the soul itself.
The Archangel raised his sword at the last second, pushing the claw to the side and saving his neck.
However, the maneuver left him open, and in the next instant, a powerful kick landed on the right side of his chest.
The impact cracked his ribs and sent him flying away, tumbling through the sky.
Cain’s killing intent only grew stronger as he saw the blood spilling from the Archangel’s mouth.
Without hesitation, he chased after him, his wings propelling him forward with incredible speed.
“You bastard!” Archangel Michael snarled, forcefully regaining control over his body.
His energy pool burst with power, and his skin morphed into white flames, seemingly becoming a sun avatar.
His form radiated intense heat and light, the air around him distorting from the searing temperatures.
Cain’s eyes narrowed as he observed the transformation.
He realized that predicting Michael’s physical movements would now be more challenging without muscles to perceive.
But there was no fear or hesitation on Cain’s face.
He pushed forward, his Neo-Demon Aura bursting with even more power.
