The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1362
Chapter 1362: Piercing the heart Chapter 1362: Piercing the heart Anart, Aranto, and Lupion careened through the void, their bodies spinning uncontrollably after the last exchange of blows.
Yet, within moments, they clenched their teeth, forcing their twisted limbs back into alignment, regaining control over their battered frames.
They exchanged glances, silent yet determined, and blasted forward without hesitation.
The trio knew killing the young man might be impossible-he was simply too powerful, his survival abilities reinforced by the Concept of Life far too strong.
But if they wanted any chance of leaving this place alive, they needed at least to drain him of his power before making a run for it.
Otherwise, given his speed, he would catch up with them during their escape, and at least one would perish.
Cain only smiled coldly as he saw that the trio remained in battle.
A dark sun burned behind him.
He flashed forward with breathtaking speed to meet their renewed assault.
“BOOOOMMMM-BOOM-CRACK!” Explosions and shattering sounds echoed across the void as the young man and the three Inferno Daemons clashed again.
Cain’s battle power was clearly superior, but by working together, Anart, Aranto, and Lupion managed to restrain his movements, ensuring that the damage he landed was kept minimal.
For five minutes, their conflict raged, each passing second a testament to their might.
The surrounding cosmic emptiness lit up as if stars rose and fell, the level of destruction so immense that it could have easily decimated entire continents of a world like Aether.
This display showed just how powerful each combatant was, yet they eventually separated, drifting apart to catch their breath.
The trio of the Inferno Daemon race was breathing hard, their chests rising and falling rapidly.
Their bodies bore burning wounds, charred flesh, and cracked bones, but they were still alive and brimming with vitality and power.
Their overwhelming life force allowed them to keep going despite injuries that would incapacitate lesser beings.
As for Cain, he was not much better off.
His body felt extremely tired, and the use of the Concept of Rage to push himself beyond his limits was starting to take its toll.
He knew he could not keep it up for much longer.
The strain was evident in his ragged breathing, the subtle tremors in his muscles, and the slight dimming of the dark sun aura behind him.
“Ahh,” Cain murmured, his voice echoing softly in the void.
“I guess this is the limit of my personal power.
Around the kind of the Early Divine Transcendence Rank.
I guess it’s not that bad.” He spoke calmly as if acknowledging his plateau rather than lamenting it.
A meaningful light appeared in the eyes of Anart, Aranto, and Lupion as they heard those words.
It seemed that the man with the red helmet did not want to fight anymore.
While they hated him with every fiber of their beings, they would be happy if things ended here.
None of them wanted to risk their lives further, especially now that they had a faint hope that his power had reached its limit.
Perhaps they could withdraw without forcing another deadly exchange.

Unfortunately for them, Cain was not finished.
In the next second, he spoke in a calm and decisive voice: “Fallen Archangel Battle Set: Lucifer Morningstar!” The next moment, the trio saw how a majestic, otherworldly armor emerged from the void, immediately fusing with Cain’s body.
It did not simply cover him, but fused with his flesh, armor and man becoming a single entity.
If that were not enough, a weapon appeared in his grasp that seemed capable of penetrating small worlds.
Runes and sigils flashed along its length, and a whisper of doom echoed.
“Impossible!
Each piece of that armor is a World Treasure!” Anart exclaimed, horror and disbelief contorting his features.
He was the most knowledgeable of the trio and could recognize the essence of the armor set that covered Cain’s body.
Something that stood above Saint Treasures, an item of unimaginable rarity and might.
“What!
How is that possible?!” Aranto shouted, voice cracking with awe and shock.
The three Inferno Daemons were mighty beings, but none of them had ever laid hands on a single World Treasure, let alone a full set.
And here was this mysterious foe, casually donning them as if it were nothing.
“Who the hell is this man?!” Lupion cried, dread filling his heart.
The situation had turned dire beyond words.
Cain, however, paid no heed to their exclamations.
He focused on his aura, feeling how it rose higher and higher now that he had donned the Fallen Archangel Set.
His energy climbed until it exploded outward, generating massive shockwaves that flooded the surroundings.
Chaotic energy shimmered around him, twisted by the force of his presence.
In silence, Cain began to mobilize his Essence Origin and Astral Origin through the Spear of Doom.
The runes etched into the spear glowed before a formidable Fallen Aura cloaked it completely.
The trio could feel the pressure intensify as if a million ghosts whispered promises of annihilation into their ears.
Immediately, Cain vanished from his spot, flashing forward at a simply breathtaking speed, appearing in front of the group before they could even blink.
His spear dashed forward, aimed directly at the one in the middle.
Anart’s eyes widened.
He saw that weapon dashing toward him, all of the young man’s power seemingly channeled into its deadly tip.
He could not even raise his arm in defense.
But he would not simply accept defeat.
Desperation fueled him.
His aura surged, space twisting around him as waves upon waves of gravity emerged from his body, trying to repel the weapon, to buy a fraction of a second to evade.
Unfortunately for the Inferno Daemon, the Spear of Doom severed through the gravitational waves, pushing forward relentlessly until it finally pierced his chest, destroying his Rebirth Heart in the process. Absolute shock appeared on Anart’s face as he realized the core of his cultivation and life force was destroyed.
Before he could even react further, waves of energy emerged from the spear, flooding his body from the inside out, sealing his mind and willpower, knocking him unconscious.
