The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1366
Chapter 1366: Underground organization with a Third Realm life form Chapter 1366: Underground organization with a Third Realm life form The Alter-Ego kept the soul and spirit energy from Anart but sent the Astral Origin and Star Power into Cain’s body.
A wide smile arose on Cain’s face as he felt the immense influx of energy.
The sensation coursed through him like liquid fire, and he could feel how his Astral Cultivation Path of Power improved at an exponentially rapid rate upon receiving such nutritionally rich fuel.
Cain knew it was paramount for his Astral Rebirth and Essence Evolution Cultivation to rise, as he could not rely on his Ego Wave to enhance his cultivation forever.
Without losing too much time, Cain waved his hand, bringing Aranto out of his Inner World and into the ocean’s sky.
Once more, the Eye of Gluttony in Cain’s forehead began to glow, generating a spiritual bridge into the Soul Dimension of the Inferno Dameon, and Levithan dove straight into the man’s brain.
Unlike Anart, Aranto’s Soul Dimension was a massive sea of flames that extended as far as the eye could see.
It was a world of furious brilliance and scorching intensity, where heat shimmered in the distance like molten glass.
Right in the middle of this burning expanse, there was a massive fire dragon.
Its scales shimmered with a red-hot radiance, embodying Aranto’s Alter Ego.
The moment the intruder arrived, a thunderous roar echoed throughout the fiery domain.
“ROOOOOAAARRRR!” The fire dragon’s cry reverberated, announcing its rage.
It recognized the trespasser invading its domain and unleashed a massive breath of scorching fire. Those flames seemed hotter than a small sun, scorching the very air.
Yet Levithan showed only pure disdain.
It opened its enormous maws and swallowed the flames in a single, fluid motion before lunging forward.
The fire dragon attempted to fight back, thrashing and clawing, but it was too late.
Levithan pinned it to the burning ground with a single tail strike.
Its massive demonic wings, dark and jagged, pierced the dragon’s flesh and impaled it, preventing any chance of escape.
Razor-sharp fangs buried into its neck, and the battle ended as swiftly as it began.
“AHHHHHHHHH!” Aranto’s eyes opened wide in agony, the pain jolting him back into consciousness, but only for a final moment.
That last moment was one of pure suffering as Levithan devoured his Alter Ego, piece by piece.
Cain’s eyes showed no pity or mercy against the man; he knew full well what they would have done to Aether had he not been present.
With a calm expression, Cain retook his meditative position, allowing waves upon waves of memories and knowledge to flood his mind.
Every second of Aranto’s life became engraved into Cain’s brain, every deed, every thought, every skill.
When it came to political and geographical information, Aranto knew less than Anart, so there was not much to gain in that regard.
Still, Cain did manage to acquire some interesting fire-based Star Power abilities.
After a few hours of silent assimilation, Cain opened his eyes.
A small smile arose as he expanded his knowledge and the influx of Astral Origin and Star Power integrated into his being, all while Levithan completely consumed the Inferno Dameon’s existence.
With those two taken care of, the path was open for one more individual to be consumed.
Cain closed his eyes, allowing Levithan to vanish from Aranto’s realm and appear once more inside the Soul Dimension, where Lotario’s soul was sealed inside a golden orb.

The sealing executed by Apex crushed Lotario’s mind and ego, so this time, there would be no grand battle between Alter Egos.
Everything would be reduced to a simple clash of raw willpower. Cain did not take this lightly.
Lotario was more powerful than the trio of the Inferno Dameon Race.
Had the Godslayer Human not tried to sneak up on Cain with a soul invasion spell and instead engaged him directly, he might not have emerged victorious. Levithan approached the golden orb.
The Eye of Gluttony on the demonic snake’s forehead glowed with monstrous power, roaring with defiance and might.
“ROOOAAAARR!” The winged demonic snake unleashed a ferocious cry, its power bursting outward, focusing all its might into a single wave of scarlet psychic force that crashed directly into the golden orb.
In response, the golden orb reacted with its own golden psychic wave.
“RUMBLE!!!” For a moment, the entire Soul Dimension began to tremble as the willpower of Cain and Lotario clashed with overwhelming might.
The two waves of psychic force lashed out against each other, wrestling for dominance.
Yet it did not last long.
Cain’s willpower overcame Lotario’s, surpassing whatever lingering resistance the sealed soul tried to muster.
The Eye of Gluttony burst with renewed power once the clash of wills ended, exerting a mystic force over the golden orb.
Everything that had once been Lotario’s soul and ego was slowly being assimilated into the winged demonic snake.
Massive streams of information flooded Cain’s mind, filling it with knowledge.
Cain adopted a solemn expression as he analyzed all of it, paying close attention to any knowledge regarding power distribution around the Everstrife Empreyan World as well as insights into the Laws or anything that might aid his cultivation.
At first, there seemed to be nothing special in Lotario’s memories.
His understanding of the Everstrife Empreyan World did not prove much value.
Still, as Cain sifted deeper, a meaningful light crossed his eyes.
Lotario had not lied when he said he belonged to the Godkiller Sect, a very powerful organization led by Peak Divine Transcendence Masters.
But what the man had not revealed was even more astonishing: he also belonged to an underground organization-a force even more powerful than the Godkiller Sect-whose leader was a Third Realm life form!
A sharp light appeared in Cain’s eyes as he learned this.
He recalled how Lotario wanted to shout something right before Apex’s golden hand had crushed him.
It was clear now that the man had wanted to throw out the name of this mysterious organization as a desperate plea for mercy.
Perhaps he hoped Cain would hesitate, knowing that such an entity existed.
Of course, even if Cain had known, he would still have carried out the same course of action.
He had never shown mercy to those who threatened Aether or himself.
