The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1395
Chapter 1395: Back to the sect Chapter 1395: Back to the sect Almart coughed up a mouthful of blood as he felt the strength in his body slowly fading and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
While his Reirth Heart was still stable, his right lung was nothing but pulp by this point, and the searing Star Power of the Godslayer Human was wreaking havoc in his internal organs.
At this point, many would crumble to fear and beg for mercy, their willpower eroded by the torture coursing through their flesh.
But Almart’s eyes only showed coldness and determination as he shouted, “Do it, bastard!” Cain’s eyes widened for a second as he saw the fearlessness in the Inferno Daemon.
He had expected pleading or rage, yet what he found was a steadfast resolve.
The next second, a broad smile appeared on his face.
“Why in such a hurry to die?” The next second, Cain’s left hand flashed like a whip, gripping Almart’s neck with such strength that the Inferno Daemon felt his throat would shatter at any moment.
Yet something even more terrifying happened.
Almart watched with shock and dread as the eyes of the young human exploded with red flames, and the next moment, a winged demonic snake coursed through Cain’s arm before burying its fangs into his neck.
“Ahhhhh,” a muffled cry emerged from the Inferno Daemon as the demonic snake injected something inside his body.
Soon, that essence took the form of an ethereal snake wrapping around his heart.
The pain only grew stronger as the creature fused with the muscles of his Sacred Organ.
Almart’s willpower and mental fortitude were much higher than that of Mario, but the pain and soul pressure was still too high.
After a few minutes, he blacked out, his consciousness slipping away under the relentless agony.
Cain did not lose focus.
He kept fusing the Leviathan Shadow into the man’s heart, ensuring that the ethereal serpent merged completely with Almart’s Rebirth Heart.
Only once the two were one and the same did Cain relax, releasing his grip over the Inferno Daemon’s neck and pulling his halberd out from the heart.
The battle had been intense, and he felt exhausted, but a broad smile appeared as he nodded softly, satisfied with his accomplishment.
“Mario would do all in his power to improve the Leviathan Shadow.
This man, on the other hand, will do all in his power to break free from it.
Now, I will see the two sides of the coin: the one that wants it and the one that loathes it.” Cain went so far as to perform the Leviathan Shadow Ego Eternal Technique on Almart because he wanted to see how the entity would face an uncooperative host.
If Almart managed to break free by exploiting some unknown weakness, Cain would make sure that future Leviathan Shadows would not have that flaw.
This was a meticulous and brutal experiment, but Cain believed it was necessary to perfect his techniques and understand the depths of his new abilities.
With his experiment in place, Cain rose to the sky and flashed into the distance, leaving Almart behind.
The Inferno Daemon lay unconscious on the ground with severe wounds.
After a few seconds, the energy in the surroundings began to flow into Almart’s body, helping it endure the damage. — Cain flashed across the sky at a surprising speed.
His goal was, of course, the Gu Sect.
He had already finished all he needed to do outside: improving his battle power, pushing his cultivation forward, and conducting key experiments on the Leviathan Shadow.
It was time to return to the Sect, use its treasures, and also reaccess its library.
He also needed to see how things had developed regarding the Gu Contest, what movements had begun behind the scenes, and how he could position himself advantageously.

The Gu Sect was so massive that despite being millions of kilometers away, Cain could see it clearly.
Its presence on the horizon was like a distant colossus.
Yet, as he was moving through a mountain range on the path that led to the Sect, Cain’s eyes narrowed.
He threw a sharp glance at the ground but immediately returned his gaze to the distance as if nothing had happened, continuing forward at a steady pace. Just as he was about to leave the mountain range, a figure emerged from the earth, a dagger in hand.
Cain’s eyes widened as if he had just detected the figure, showing surprise.
He managed to take out his halberd, adopting a battle stance.
Yet the next second, his eyes widened again as a small sword covered in shadows pierced his back, severing his spine.
There was more than one assassin-the second hiding in the sky-and before Cain could do anything, the figure that emerged from the mountain buried his dagger in his head.
Cold smiles appeared on the assassins’ faces as they saw that their target was dead.
From their perspective, this had been a perfect ambush: one attacking from below, another from above, coordinated to ensure Cain’s demise.
Yet, the next second, their smiles vanished as the young man’s figure trembled and began to vanish. “Falling Star!” Before the duo could even understand that they had been tricked by an illusion, a shout of killing might echo across the sky.
A flaming heavenly body made of dark red flames fell from above, crashing into the duo and pushing them all the way to the ground.
Bursts of fire exploded in all directions as one of the nearby mountains was blown to smithereens by the attack.
Flames scorched the ground, and the next second, Cain emerged from it, dragging both assassins through their torsos.
His eyes were cold as he gazed at the duo.
They were conscious, and they trembled, utter terror flooding their souls as they felt the cold and merciless eyes of the young man. “Let’s go somewhere private.
I need what you hold inside your minds,” Cain’s voice was calm as he took a step forward, vanishing into the distance with both assassins in tow.
