The oppressive energy made it difficult for him to perceive his surroundings clearly, forcing him to rely more on instinct than on his usual heightened awareness.

Not even a second later, three dark humanoid figures emerged from the pillar.

Each bore a distinct weapon and aura: one wielded a massive hammer, its sheer size suggesting it carried the weight of a mountain; another brandished a spear, and the last figure glowed with radiant fire energy.

The trio attacked immediately.

The hammer-wielding Soul Automaton charged straight toward Cain, its intent clear-to shatter his body with overwhelming force.

Simultaneously, the spear-bearing Soul Automaton flitted unpredictably, its spear aiming to exploit any weakness in Cain’s defenses.

Meanwhile, the fire-infused Soul Automaton summoned a blazing meteorite-sized fireball before sending the destructive sphere hurtling toward him.

Cain’s eyes remained cold and unflinching as he assessed the attackers.

Even if he allowed their attacks to land, his Indestructible Herculean Body would suffer no damage.

Satisfied with the destruction of the trio, Cain wasted no time and plunged deeper into the Death Forest.

As he navigated the labyrinth of metallic pillars, more Soul Automatons emerged, their numbers increasing alongside their cultivation bases.

“BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!” The collision between their immense powers caused an explosion of gravity, heat, and temporal energy to burst in all directions.

The force locked their fists together, holding them in place for nearly five seconds.

Cain felt his bones tremble under the strain, but he maintained his grip, pushing against the automaton’s overwhelming power.  Finally, the accumulated energy reached a breaking point.

Cain and the automaton were thrust in opposite directions by the sheer magnitude of their powers.

Cain landed heavily, a frown appearing on his face as he gazed at his clenched fist, feeling his bones tremble from the exertion.

“Ahhh, I guess without my World Treasures, my battle power will only allow me to face those at the bottom of the Late Divine Transcendence Rank, but I am far from having the power to kill them,” Cain reflected bitterly.  Undeterred, the automaton did not hesitate.

It lunged forward once more, its massive fist descending with destructive intent.

But just as the automaton’s attack was about to land, its arm was blown to pieces.

A flash of shock appeared in the creature as it saw a majestic armor covering the young man’s body.

Such wounds would have forced anyone else to retreat, but Soul Automatons were built to fight until nothing remained inside them.

The automaton, now missing an arm, attacked with its left limb.

Cain did not utter a word.

Instead, he vanished from the path of the automaton’s massive fist, reappearing directly in front of its head.

With lightning speed, he thrust his spear forward, piercing through the skull of the creature and blowing its head to pieces.

As the automaton’s corpse melted back into the Death Pillar, a thin stream of purple energy flashed into Cain’s body.
