The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1430
Chapter 1430: Killing Divine Beasts Chapter 1430: Killing Divine Beasts Cain wrenched his weapon from the chest of the fallen Divine Beast.
Its massive body shuddered once, then lay still, blood pooling around the ragged wound.
For a moment, Cain’s gaze locked on the battered carcass.
Victory was his, yet a slight frown creased his lips as he stared at the Spear of Doom.
“So I had to use the Spear of Doom after all,” he muttered under his breath.
“The halberd proved too weak for a battle at this level.” The truth was unavoidable: he had been forced to unveil a formidable World Treasure from his arsenal.
Yet he swiftly shrugged off any concern.
“Ah, well, the cat is out of the bag already.
Besides, it’s just one of my World Treasures.
I still have plenty of trump cards hidden,” Cain mused. Having settled his thoughts, Cain wasted no further time.
He used a swift technique to store the giant corpse, then turned back to the battlefield.
More than twenty Divine Beasts still ran amok, tearing at the defensive formation the group had set up.
With the Spear of Doom still in his grasp, Cain dashed forward.
In an instant, Cain’s body resembled a blazing meteor, a streak of Star Power guiding him to his next target, a colossal Winged Bear that dwarfed the surrounding combatants with its size-an entire mountain’s worth of fur, teeth, and claws.
“ROOOOOAAARRRRR!” The Winged Bear let out a thunderous roar.
Its paws, each the size of an entire war chariot, hammered downward on Cain.
A gravitational force crackled around them, threatening to twist space.
But Cain relied on The Flow, slipping effortlessly out of the bear’s lethal path.
Moving to the beast’s flank, he raised the Spear of Doom high, the tip blazing with red-hot Star Power.
“CRACK!” A deafening crunch cut through the din of battle.
Despite the Winged Bear’s body spanning more than three hundred thousand meters, the spear-barely two meters in length-shattered the beast’s shoulder bones with a single decisive strike.
The impact hurled the Divine Beast through the air, sending it smashing into a nearby ridge.
In the distance, members of the group stared, astonished by the overwhelming power Cain had unleashed.
Their awe deepened when they glimpsed the Spear of Doom up close.
Its aura and craftsmanship suggested a World Treasure of the highest caliber, something even a Peak Divine Transcendence Master might struggle to acquire.
Yet, any extensive speculation was cut short by the sight of a massive shadow manifesting above Cain’s figure.
It was a Shadow Mantis, a towering predator of darkness that loomed overhead, brandishing scythe-like arms.
With a swift downward slash, it attempted to bisect Cain from behind.
At the last split second, Cain shifted to the side, narrowly evading the lethal blow.
His eyes glowed with the golden light of The Flow, tracking the Mantis’s every move.

In retaliation, he hurled the Spear of Doom forward, scorching Star Power crackling around its tip.
Caught off guard by the failed ambush, the Shadow Mantis hastily crossed its forelimbs to defend against Cain’s thrust.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOM!” An explosive collision reverberated as the Spear of Doom struck those deadly scythes, igniting an inferno of searing flames.
The Mantis was hurled backward, its exoskeleton charred, puking mouthfuls of blood as it flailed to put out the flames.
For a fleeting moment, Cain locked gazes with Arakos, the Late Divine Transcendence Anima leading the expedition.
The man’s eyes betrayed a flicker of awe at Cain’s feat.
But Cain swiftly turned back to his fight.
Zooming through the air, he sought the Winged Bear once more, determined to finish it off.
Yet the next instant, two more adversaries leaped in: a Demonic Metallic Wolf and a Volcano Tiger, each radiating intense power.
Arakos observed from his vantage point.
In that same heartbeat, the group’s formation seemed to rally.
The sudden onslaught by Cain-killing or repelling multiple Divine Beasts-had drastically diminished the pressure they faced. Seizing the moment, Arakos let his voice boom across the battlefield.
“Open the formation!
Go on the offensive-kill!” At once, the group’s energy converged, unleashing a collective surge that blasted the Divine Beasts backward.
Freed from the defensive posture, the cultivators switched to an all-out attack.
Arakos was no exception-his aura erupted in a majestic pillar of Essence Origin.
From that energy rose a towering, ghastly figure hundreds of thousands of meters tall, writhing with multiple arms.
“Divine Ghost!” The ethereal colossus pinned two massive Divine Beasts at once, smashing them into the ground.
Their flesh tore under its phantom limbs, splattering gore across the torn earth.
In the distance, Cain’s eyes narrowed at the sight of this twisted abomination.
He sensed a truly negative psychic energy fueling the monstrosity, implying its origins were anything but pure.
However, it hardly mattered right now.
The priority was survival-and extermination of these marauding Divine Beasts.
Cain took two steps to dodge a slashing paw from the Winged Bear, then arched his spine backward in an uncanny contortion to avoid the snapping jaws of the Demonic Metallic Wolf.
Finally, he lifted his left forearm, blocking the Volcano Tiger’s molten claw.
“BOOOOOMMMM!” Lava and searing heat exploded from that strike, yet Cain remained unscathed.
His mastery of the Solar Titan Cultivation Technique rendered his body intrinsically resistant to extreme heat, and the Yang Runes plus the Indestructible Herculean Technique absorbed the brunt of the physical blow.
Before the Volcano Tiger could retreat, Cain countered with uncanny speed-thrusting the Spear of Doom upward and demolishing the beast’s jaw in a single blow.
The Tiger’s head fragmented, drenching the sky in ash and gore.
Another roar sounded behind him.
The Demonic Metallic Wolf sought to seize the opportunity while Cain was momentarily occupied.
It lunged, fangs glinting as it aimed for Cain’s neck.
The sound of colliding energies erupted as Cain answered with the Spear of Doom.
Metal clashed on metal.
Sparks rained down in every direction.
While Cain was locked with the Wolf, the Winged Bear tried once more to land a killing blow.
Spotting the opening, it lunged, claws readied.
But just as it came within striking distance, Cain flicked his gaze toward it.
A nightmarish aura flared from his eyes, flooding the Winged Bear’s soul with absolute terror.
The beast froze for a split-second.
That was all Cain needed.
He smashed the wolf aside, then pivoted his spear toward the Winged Bear.
With a thunderous impact, he shattered its skull.
