The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1433
Chapter 1433: Golden Lake’s first fight (I) Chapter 1433: Golden Lake’s first fight (I) “Titan Towers?” Cain’s eyes sharpened as he recognized the massive structure looming in the distance-or at least the essence of what it represented.
It was similar to the Titan or God Towers, monolithic constructs used in Aether by powerful sects and empires.
These towers served dual purposes: they could protect entire cities with impenetrable defenses or act as cultivation amplifiers, flooding practitioners with unimaginable amounts of energy.
For those fortunate enough to tap into such power, the towers could catalyze their ascent, allowing them to leap through battle ranks in moments. However, the tower before him was vastly more imposing than any he had ever encountered in Aether.
It exuded a primal might, ancient and unyielding.
Unlike its counterparts in Aether, which were already monumental, this tower could propel someone from the Late Divine Transcendent Rank to the Peak, granting them a level of battle power Cain knew he couldn’t defeat, even if he unleashed all his trump cards and abilities. The battlefield was a chaotic storm of energy and violence.
Cain’s mind raced, analyzing the scene and adjusting his strategies.
The request from Lady Azure and the Night Prince weighed heavily on him, their expectations forcing him to think several steps ahead.
Every second mattered, every move could determine life or death.
Yet even as these thoughts crossed his mind, Cain pressed forward without hesitation.
His energy surged, a blend of Astral Origin and Star Power bursting through his body, radiating heat and brilliance with every stride. Behind him, Lady Azure’s group charged toward the Golden Lake with unrelenting momentum.
Their combined auras burned like miniature suns, their sheer energy output scorching the air around them.
Flames and heat trailed in their wake, marking their approach as they closed in on the battlefield. Far ahead, a fierce clash unfolded.
The Godslayer Human, locked in combat with a Peak Divine Transcendent Behemoth, turned his gaze toward Cain and his group.
His eyes flickered with urgency as he barked a command.
“Group 2, pull back!” His voice echoed like thunder across the battlefield.
Without hesitation, sixteen warriors disengaged from their towering opponent, retreating swiftly from the Golden Lake.
Their movements were disciplined and precise, showcasing great battle awareness.
Cain and Lady Azure’s group arrived just as the retreating warriors exited the area.
Each member of their party immediately zeroed in on a target, one of the combatants from the Golden Star Kingdom.
It was a scene of controlled chaos, yet beneath the surface, tension simmered like a volcano waiting to erupt. It would have made sense for them to work together in such a dangerous environment, but that was a naive expectation.
The Gu Sect was infamous for its brutal internal culture.
Infighting was encouraged, and killing fellow sect members was considered normal-sometimes even expected.
To make matters worse, the sect was fragmented into several factions right now, each vying for dominance.
Trust was a luxury no one could afford, even during a sect mission. Cain understood this reality better than most.
He knew that the slightest opening could invite a blade in the back or an energy blast from a “friendly” ally.
But dwelling on such paranoia was pointless.
Instead, he focused on the task at hand. With a burst of speed, Cain launched himself toward a towering figure-a Godslayer Human from the Golden Star Kingdom.
His body radiated searing heat, the power of his Primordial Sun Bloodline manifesting in the form of a dark sun blazing behind his back.
The intense energy augmented his physical might to its absolute peak. The Godslayer Human turned to face him, his body shimmering like the surface of a golden star.

Standing over four meters tall, the man’s body radiated an aura of sharpness and durability, his Gold Star Force forming a divine shield around him.
His eyes narrowed as he regarded Cain, and a sneer formed on his lips. “A boy?” the golden man muttered, his voice dripping with disdain.
Without hesitation, he clenched his massive fist, golden energy coalescing around it like a miniature sun, and lunged forward with a punch that seemed capable of tearing space itself. Cain met the attack head-on.
His Spear of Doom, bathed in fiery energy, thrust forward with deadly precision. “BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM.” The collision was cataclysmic.
Gold and Fire Star Power exploded outward, releasing waves of destructive energy that rippled across the battlefield.
Cain held his ground, his spear pressing against the man’s fist with overwhelming force. The Godslayer Human’s expression darkened as he felt the sheer might behind Cain’s attack.
Despite his best efforts, he was pushed back.
Rage flickered in his eyes, his killing intent surging like a tidal wave. “You’ll regret this!” he roared, his golden energy exploding outward as he launched another punch, this one even more ferocious than the last. Cain’s response was swift and precise.
With a deft motion, he deflected the punch, using the shaft of his spear to redirect the golden energy harmlessly to the side.
In the same movement, he struck with the spear’s butt, slamming it into the man’s temple with enough force to make his head snap back. By the time the golden man recovered his senses, Cain had already closed the distance.
With a powerful downward strike, the Spear of Doom crashed into the man’s chest, sending him hurtling into the molten golden waves of the Golden Lake. “AHHHHHH!” A pained cry echoed as the golden man emerged from the lake a moment later, his body covered in severe burns.
He was fortunate; as a Late Divine Transcendent Master of the Star Sovereign Divine System, his cultivation and path provided him with remarkable resilience.
Had he been of the Inner Universe Divine System or possessed weaker cultivation, he might not have survived. “You bastard!” the man snarled, his voice filled with rage. Cain’s expression remained calm, unshaken by the man’s fury.
He took a single step back just before a massive golden sword descended upon his previous position. The golden sword was only the beginning.
More weapons materialized in the air, dozens of shimmering blades descending upon Cain from every angle.
Yet, with remarkable agility and precision, he dodged each one at the last possible moment.
His eyes scanned the battlefield, locking onto the source of the attack-a member of the Anima Machinarium Race, high in the sky and channeling energy into the golden weapons. Without a word, Cain surged forward, his spear slicing through the air with unstoppable force.
The torrent of golden weapons shattered under the might of his attack as he closed the distance.
