The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order - Chapter 1439
Chapter 1439: Going after Renan (I) Chapter 1439: Going after Renan (I) Shock and awe rippled through the ranks of the Gu Sect and the Golden Star Kingdom as they felt the soul aura of the Godslayer Human vanish.
His death sent shockwaves through the entire battlefield, but none more so than the Night Prince’s forces.
After all, the name of the death was Alonz, who had been one of their strongest warriors, a cornerstone of their strength in this perilous battlefield.
Anger simmered beneath their composed exteriors, and sharp, cold glares were cast toward the Deus Behemoth.
If it weren’t for the unrelenting chaos around them-the need to fend off enemies and secure the white flares of soul force rising from the Golden Lake-they would have definitely attacked the flaming lion in retaliation.
The Deus Behemoth sensed the hostility from the Night Prince’s force but remained outwardly unfazed.
Internally, however, confusion gnawed at him.
He hadn’t expected the fight to unfold this way.
His memory of the event was fragmented and strange: the Godslayer Human had suddenly faltered, his attention shifting inexplicably.
Even when Alonz reacted, it was too late-he froze, paralyzed, leaving the Deus Behemoth a perfect opening for a point-blank strike.
The truth, of course, was hidden from the flaming lion.
Cain had manipulated the entire sequence.
Using the Ethereal Mirage Cultivation technique, Cain had conjured a flawless illusion, distorting Alonz’s senses at the critical moment.
Even when the Godslayer Human had broken free of the deception, Cain used the power of the Nightmare Heart and struck with an invisible spiritual attack, rendering him defenseless.
The Deus Behemoth, oblivious to Cain’s hand in the matter, basked in the glory of victory.
A radiant, self-satisfied grin spread across its massive face as it secured its position.
For the flaming lion, the details didn’t matter-only the results did.
From his concealed position deep within the Golden Lake, Cain watched it all unfold.
He observed the flaming lion taking credit for Alonz’s death with cool indifference.
The whole reason why he went through all this trouble was to remain hidden. As he swam through the molten lake, a slight frown crossed his face.
The Fallen Archangel Battle Set greatly enhanced his defenses and his natural resistance to heat was formidable, but even so, the searing plasma of the Golden Lake was pushing him to his limits.
He couldn’t remain submerged for long.
He needed to eliminate his next target quickly and escape.
Luckily for Cain, it wasn’t long before he reached his destination.
His eyes glowed with a cold, lethal determination as he spotted an Anima and a Deus Behemoth locked in a heated battle against a Godslayer Human.
The combatants were none other than Arakos, the leader of Lady Azure’s forces, and Renan, a Tribulation Enhancer that the Night Prince wanted to see death.
Their opponent, the Godslayer Human, was proving to be a formidable adversary, holding his own despite the odds.
The Godslayer’s cultivation was slightly lower than Arakos’s, barely at the bottom of the Late Divine Transcendent Stage.
However, his strength was amplified by a majestic golden World Treasure in the form of battle gauntlets, which greatly enhanced his Star Power.
The weapon allowed him to crush Arakos’s Divine Phantom with ease and repel Renan’s tidal waves, even as they surged toward him with overwhelming force.

The battle was explosive.
The Godslayer Human, Deus Behemoth, and Anima Machinarium fought with relentless ferocity, all while navigating the chaos of the Golden Lake.
Waves of molten plasma and towering pillars erupted unpredictably, threatening to consume anyone caught off guard.
One wrong move could spell disaster, yet neither side faltered, their skill and precision honed to perfection.
Cain’s sharp gaze locked onto Renan.
Despite being a Deus Behemoth, she followed the Inner Universe Divine System, and her mastery of its techniques was evident in her fluid, powerful attacks.
However, none of that mattered to Cain.
Initially, he had planned to capture Renan alive.
Extracting her memories and insights would have been valuable for his Tribulation Enhancement abilities.
But given the state of the Golden Lake, capturing her was no longer an option.
He had to adjust his plan.
‘She dies,’ Cain thought coldly, his focus sharpening.
The golden glow of The Flow surged through Cain’s eyes as he attuned himself to the raging energies of the Golden Lake.
He channeled the Law of Water and the Law of Fire, merging their powers to enhance his control over the molten plasma around him.
Cain began to manipulate the explosive energy coursing through the plasma, shaping it into a massive sphere of concentrated destruction.
The Law of Water allowed him to compress the plasma, amplifying its density and pressure, while the Law of Fire heightened its searing heat and destructive power.
He wasn’t finished.
Into the boiling sphere of golden plasma, Cain infused the Sundering Concept and the Concept of Power, magnifying its might with every passing second.
The burning plasma scorched his body, but Cain endured the pain, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Above him, the battle reached a fever pitch.
Both sides fought with growing desperation, each seeking to overpower the other and secure the area where the Natural Inheritance might rise.
“Golden Cosmic Palm!” The Godslayer Human roared as he unleashed a devastating palm strike.
The golden imprint shattered Arakos’s Divine Phantom, sending the leader of Lady Azure’s forces hurtling through the air.
Without losing momentum, the Godslayer turned his focus to Renan, his energy surging as he dashed toward her with a clenched fist.
Renan’s eyes narrowed as she saw the attack coming, but she remained composed.
“Flowing Barrier!” She conjured a swirling water shield in front of her, the barrier absorbing much of the Godslayer’s strike.
The impact sent her flying backward, but the shield had done its job-she emerged relatively unharmed.
A faint smirk played on Renan’s lips.
She thought she had weathered the attack unscathed.
But her relief was short-lived.
Her eyes widened in horror as a massive pillar of golden plasma erupted from below her.
The molten force surged upward with blinding speed and overwhelming might, engulfing her before she had time to react.
She barely managed to summon a water cloak around her body before the plasma consumed her entirely.
“AHHHHHHH!” The searing heat of the plasma tore through her defenses, and her screams echoed across the battlefield.
